This is a stellar concert from 1970 and shows Jimi in peak form. They did a great job updating the sound to Blu-ray/ HD quality. They even have some documentary like segments showing life at the time and Jimi's impact. Great film about a great artist and R&R roots.

This recording proves that Hendrix fans are always up to 'new' discoveries of lost tapes as this one proves to be from the archive of live performances.

As a fan of Jimi Hendrix, I really enjoyed this blu-ray. The concert performance is classic Hendrix, and besides that there's a lot of background about the music festival that took place. It really gives you a taste of what things were like in 1970 and how much Hendrix was a part of that music scene.

I was so happy to see this released on blu ray and dvd. I watched the version that aired on Showtime and it was a great documentary and film coverage of this historic concert. Would recommend to any Hendrix fan.
