Good for basic pphone for older generation like grandparents where smart phones are too much for them.

My father, who is blind, uses this phone and its great because he has unlimited operator assisted calls after faxing a letter from his eye doctor. Also, the 5 star urgent care button has been very useful.

Serves my mum's needs just wish it didn't have all additional features like text and Internet.

Bought this for my mom. She is in her 70's the bigger buttons are great. She doesn't use texting but it's there if she did. Hearing people on the phone is clearer, she now doesn't scream at you cause she thinks you can't hear her. Simple to use.

Purchased this phone for my father who is 74. Works great for his needs as the numbers are very visible. Also purchased a drop in cradle charger as well. So far so good!

My wife and I love contacting each other by our phones with ease.

Bought this Jitterbug for my elderly aunt. The set-up was not as effortless as stated. Had to retry a couple times to get it activated. Customer care call line was courteous and willing to help, but didn't have the knowledge or power to get anywhere (solve issues). While it comes with message and camera capabilities, it is so clumsy to use, an older person would have a tough time using it to it's fullest. Having said all that - it should be fine for straight calling and receiving (which is all she wanted anyway).

This is the best phone i ever owned. I would highly recommend this phone it is out standing.

REAL people answer immediately, whether you need an ambulance or just someone to set up your numbers into the phone memory for you. This was the only cell my 86 year old mother could use by herself. With this purchase I upgraded to the new Star 5 model to cover my own medical issues. It comes with GPS tracking. Other medical alert devices have very short radiuses. With this I'm free to go anywhere and still have care one button away. Love it.

my sister purchased this phone and I liked and bought same. Very easy to use, but person on other end to set up was very difficult to understand. Some foreign accent. Other then that, great phone.

this phone is really basic. One feature that is not present is that if someone calls you and you missed the call, there is no call history feature so you can dial the person back. The only feature that sets this phone apart from other phones is the 5* button which can help you in case of emergency. I had to go back to the previous service for my father phone and luckily was able to change it without much problems.
