This is a nice JLA show but...
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This is a short movie, only about an hour long, so it's more like a pilot for a new cartoon. The story is interesting but could have had more depth. The characters are your usual group of good guys and baddies. I didn't know it existed until my son saw it on the shelf so I thought we would get it. It was on sale for $12 and we have a lot of the other DC animated movies. It is sub-par in comparison to other DC films but I kinda expected that since it was not in any previews or special features on past DC DVDs. I would still recommend to anyone that loves DC characters or super hero films, but you may wait until you can pick up for 5-10 dollars.

Good Classic JLA Story

The Animation style feels like a slight departure from some of the other recent JLA/Superman/Batman animated movies. The style is a little less refined and detailed but entertaining none the less.

This DVD goes back to a "kid" friendly movie.

weak storyline
