    Great Headphones for the money

The top feature for me undoubtedly, was battery life and these headphones deliver! Battery life is GREAT! I get at least 9-11 full hours listening at full volume. They also have a rapid charge feature, for those times you forget to charge. Fifteen minutes of charging will give you at least a full hour of listening. They fit very well in my ear. (these come with many different tips, to suit your needs) The flexible wire that goes around the ear make them VERY good for working out. They remain secure, even during intense workouts. The Bluetooth is great so far, I haven't had any trouble connecting or with any outside interference. I would say the ONLY con would be.. The bass is somewhat lacking. However the overall sound quality is excellent. High notes and mid notes are crystal clear and although bass is somewhat lacking, it is still clear. (just not super deep) There isn't any bass distortion. Overall, I would highly recommend these headphones to anyone who lives a active lifestyle. They are sweat-proof and water resistant, remain secure, have great battery life, and good sound for a great price.

I purchased these for daily walking and jogging. Light weight and fit to ears with over the ear design. Comes with a variety of ear buds for easy adaptation. Great battery life and easy setup with Bluetooth. Good sound although I mainly listen to sports talk stations. Very light weight.

    Overpriced-Unimpressive Audio

    1. Unboxing: Packaging was not well thought out from the perspective of unboxing. Most parts are pushed through holes in the cardboard carrier. The cord that connects the two earbuds is pushed through with a tag wrapped around the cord. The only way to remove it is to either cut the tag off (with risk of cutting the cord); or to rip in through the cardboard causing unnecessary strain on cord. All parts have a cheap look and feel to them. 2. Charging: $100.00 and no charger included?!? Low value there, especially when you consider the build quality of the components. They do include a USB to micro-USB very short cable, so with your own changer it’s not difficult. But again, the flap that covers the charging port is very flimsy contributing to the poor build quality. I don’t feel like it will last very long before snapping off. The estimated charging time is four hours, though mine didn’t take more than one. Not sure of the charge level on arrival. 3. Pairing: The unit was easy to pair with my phone and the voice feedback gives good information on the status of the connection and operation. 4. Fitting: Included are several different sizes/styles of gel inserts. This makes fitting your ear canal easy and solid. But the “memory wires” that go over the ear don’t conform well to the ear and are counterproductive. If you wear glasses, those wires make proper fitting nearly impossible. 5. Operation: There are three multi-function buttons to handle power, pairing, volume and track changes. I’m not a big fan of multi-function buttons because with each new device you have to learn that manufacturer’s scheme and then are at risk of forgetting which does what. But on a device this small, it’s a requirement of the design. The patterns are intuitive and not hard to learn so this I can live with. 6. Sound Quality: “Hear” is where the rubber meets the road; and these earbuds are running on slicks. When I first connected and put these in, I couldn’t get a good fit so I likened it to a 1970’s transistor radio. So I tried a couple different gels and once I found the right pair to fit my ear canals, the sound quality improved. But not by much. Simply put….these are the worst sounding earbuds/headphones I have ever tried! Tinny high end with very little midrange or low end response at all. 7. Summary: At this price point I expect a lot more and these fall flat. I feel they are way overpriced when you consider the overall build quality, sound quality and nuisance wires. I would prefer to spend just a little more and get the quality I desire from Apple or Bose. My experience shows that there are much better options.

Initially, I was a little disappointed in the way it felt when i put them in my ears, but after a little while they started to feel pretty comfortable and very secure. The sound quality is pretty good although there isn't much Bass and the range of the bluetooth is outstanding. I was walking around my house and didn't even realize I left my phone downstairs.

I have used many BT headphones in my days and this is one that falls short on many aspects that I find necessary for me to enjoy using BT headsets. First, the fit. All of my opinions are totally subjective and you may or may not have the same conclusions that I did. Trying to put these on was a bit of a hassle at first and even after about a dozen attempts, they still did not feel natural in the way you have to put them on. I honestly struggled with the memory formed wire that is supposed to loop around the top of your ear to help hold them in place. Wearing them with glasses or sun glasses only made it worse. I was not able to find a suitable ear piece that would fit comfortably in my ear, despite them including a bunch of different shapes (mini to large and deep to shallow). I am sure that would benefit a lot of people out there, just not me. Sound quality lacked big time in my opinion. I do like a lot of bass or at least some bass, and these units simply did not have any. Now, that could be resolved if I had a set of ear pieces that actually fit my ears, but I tried to hold them in with my hands to test the sound and was still unable to enjoy the quality. The reception on these things are awesome though. They have included a BT antenna in the wire so you can get a better reception and I had no issues with that. Battery life was the best that I have ever seen as well, I estimate I got about 10 hours of playtime. They put a small battery in each ear piece which helps that out a lot...it also balances out the ear pieces quite nicely. I just wish they fit!! Pairing with my phone was a breeze and the lady's voice is pleasant. :) I hope they come out with a version with better ear pieces that I can actually use at some point.

    Decent for Runners

I like to go on long walks and runs at night and like taking my music with me. We'd had good experiences with JLabs headsets for my kids, so I was curious to try this one out to see if it could replace my current horse-collar bluetooth headset. The collar piece moves around too much when I run. These earbuds come with a variety of different earbud shapes to let you pick your perfect fit. They also come with some clips to make the wire shorter, but it also warns that Bluetooth connectivity could be hampered by using the clips. Not sure why JLabs would send something that would diminish the entire reason for the product's existence. Like many wireless headsets I've tried for exercising, they do a decent job of producing treble, but there's next to no bass. JLbas does offer an accompanying app to "burn-in" the headset, but I used them right out of the box with no additional app. I don't like to clutter my iPhone with apps that I don't use on a consistent basis and I didn't need the app to pair the headset or use it. The headset also comes with a USB charger, but the cable is very short. It also comes with it's own carrying case, but the dimensions of the case mean you basically have to cram the headset in there and zip it up - while hoping you don't break them. When I took it on a 5k, I noticed that the earbuds did a good job of holding still. There was a few times when the cord got stuck to the back of my neck, but I was walking in Texas in 98 degree heat, so I was sweating too. Not once was there a skip or choppy connection between my iPhone and the JLabs headset. If you're a runner or someone who likes to workout without a headset getting in your way, then these would be great for you. If you're an audiophile and want a more richer sound presentation, then these are not the ones for you. They've become my go-to running headset, but I still use my other horse-collar one when I want better sound reproduction.

I like these headphones the suit me very well. I use them a lot at work so the fact that the battery life is very long is a great benefit. They come with quite a few changeable earpieces which is nice because as we all know ears aren't all the same. They're also very lightweight yet they don't feel cheap. The volume on these puppies goes a lot higher than other wireless headphones I've tried and that's a definite plus. I really am happy with these headphones.

These earphones have deep, full bass and balanced treble. It's a clean sound without noticeable distortion. They come with a wide selection of ear seals for all sizes of ear canals. The cable isn't too long, but comes with a clip for shortening if desired.

These earphones are a bit of a disappointment. I've bought $20 ones that aren't brand name compared to this that were just as good if not better. As others have mentioned, the materials are pretty cheap. Despite the variety of ear pieces you get, they just don't fit well for me personally. The sound is decent but not for the price. I like decently strong bass, but unfortunately this doesn't do bass justice. I'd pass on this and go for anotha one.

JLab Epic 2 is a fantastic set of headphones. They are lightweight and easy to rest upon your hears. The cord is tangle free and the audio quality is great but with great bass. The design is pretty average and more in tune with other basic sports headphones. They are easy to connect to use with Bluetooth. Water Resistant works well tried it outside in a thunderstorm, at the Gym, and in the shower. It seems to all work pretty fine. I think JLAB put together a well rounded package for a cheap price. I have no complaints other then the design could have been at but more "striking" but they do the job and does it well. Would recommend this to people who just need some headphones for sports related activities or a "pick up and go" type of situation. 5 stars for a solid product!

These headphones are very good from a sound perspective. Good bass and clear sound. Fitment is pretty good as there are several ear tips included with the headphones to allow for a tailored fit. For me, I think because I wear glasses, the piece that wraps around the ears is a bit difficult to get setup correctly. All in all, their good headphones and glad I purchased them.

Love it! It took some getting used to and I also, through trial and error, found out that I needed to have different shaped ear buds for each of my ears. Once that was figured out, they stay put and never fall out while running. There are times when I run 4 miles and forget that I have them in! They are lightweight, easy to put on, and when powering them on it greets you with a "hello" and reports on your battery power level... "battery medium", etc. That way you know exactly when to charge. It will also say "Goodbye", which I like, so I don't leave them on and drain the battery. I have been running 3 times a week, 2-4 miles everytime, for the past two weeks and I still haven't recharged them. I am impressed with it's battery life. The sound quality is fabulous and the volume control is easy to reach, which hangs by your right ear. I was nervous about purchasing my first wireless earbud headphones but I am so glad that I did! I will never go back to wire headphones for working out/running ever again!

I bought these Bluetooth earbuds a couple of weeks ago. I am more than thrilled. I had resisted going wireless for a long time. My main reason was battery life. I didn't want to get ready to head out and find out the battery is low or dead. These have a 12 hour battery life. The second thing I wanted was to be able to hear ambient sound. I wanted to be able to hear what is going on around me as I am walking, running or biking. These work great for that. They come with a varied selection of tips for ear size. They are waterproof so sweat or rain don't matter. Another requirement was seamless integration with my phone. I wanted to be able to answer and initiate phone calls and access Siri. Some other brands and models don't do that at all or very easy. I'm thinking of getting a second set to use at work. Not having a dangling cord would be great. Sound and clarity are great as well. I am very happy.

The good: -Great sound quality! -Solid construction and very water resistant! -Lightweight and durable -Easy to navigate and use buttons -Convenient carrying case -Many sizes and types of ear canal nubs The bad: -Will NOT get quiet! Always like being front row on a rock concert -The "memory wire" surround just doesn't seem to want to remember how to fit on ears! I have used wrap around style ear buds for years and they're always the best for running, biking, and swimming but the surround on these make them almost completely unwearable! Such a shame as these would be perfect for swimming in (they worked just fine in the pool and lake) as the low-end for volume is still quite loud and would block out the ambient water noise!

I really enjoyed these headphones when I first bought them - sound quality was good, battery life was good, and they fit my ears well. Then, about a couple months in, I noticed the battery life starting to decrease. Then, one day, the earbuds wouldn't charge at all (the red charging light didn't come on). A few days later, I managed to get the earbuds to charge, but the next day when I went to use them, the battery completely drained in less than an hour. After charging them a second time, I went to use them and could only hear sound coming out of the right earbud. I figured, that's enough, and went to submit a warranty claim. Turns out Jlab makes YOU pay to send them back their broken headphones, then after they look at them, they'll decide about honoring your warranty. I find it pretty disappointing that I should have to pay to send back malfunctioning headphones which barely lasted a few months. The only reason I gave two stars was because, during those few months when the earbuds actually worked, they worked really well. I just wish they hadn't failed so quickly.

They work well for me. Holds a charge well. Only complaint is occasional static when tucking your phone away (or whatever device you use) on yourself to free your hands. I have to maneuver the device around for headphones to be 100% clear. Wish the cord connecting the ear pieces could retract/extend per users preference for size. Overall works great for my needs!

These are great if you don't move around too much. Apparently, when you shorten/move the connecting headphone wire/antenna you can cause interference with the signal. Very annoying for supposed "active" headphones. The sound quality is okay for powered headphones; I expected better sound for a device that requires charging. They at least work for cutting the wire from your head to your device...just don't count on them if you move around too much!
