I guess- best for its price range! Not expecting a Bose like sound, but my bucks well spent! And battery life is great.

These little earbuds were worth every dollar, all 20 of them.
For a 'cheaper' earbud, these worked very well. The battery life was mad decent and the sound quality was pretty good, which reminds me, these earbuds have some built in EQ settings, Bass, Normal and JLab Signature - All very good.

Best budget buy for True Wireless Earbuds

To review/rate these earbuds I was confused whether to rate them a 4 star or 4.5 (this review form does not have 4.5).
-----These JLab GO Air POP were also my first bluetooth wireless headphone/earbuds purchase.
In my opinion these are the best budget buy for True Wireless [in-ear] headphone/earbuds under $30--and probably as good as some that are $30-50. Rtings [dot com], professional electronics and appliance reviewers, also see these as a smart buy. (If you want an in-depth assessment view their analysis.)
If you want an honest and fair, unbiased review of these earbuds (buds) please be patient and read my review.
I won't re-state too much that the other reviewers have already said. Ease of use is 5of5 stars. These buds support a USB type-A connection/charge..and not a type-C.
I am chiefly a fan of heavy and extreme metal. I imagine that EDM/trance lovers, techno and the like are going to like the 'JLab "Signature"' EQ setting--it is probably the best setting--you'll get a good amount of rumble, punch and boom.
There is 1), JLab Signature. 2) Balanced. 3) Bass Boost (If you need more EQ settings look at other buds.)
** JLab advertises in their specs that these earbuds get 8 hours of play/run time. It's more like just over nine(9) hours. (Remember, if you have your volume set to the highest..your battery goes a little quicker than normal.)
** For commute/travel they're pretty good - you can get up to thirty(30) hours of battery time (about 3 charges). These will get you through a "9 to 5" work-schedule ** There's also Google Assistant/Alexa! You can get the weather report while you're jogging--- but if you jog I'd recommend putting a headband on to ensure that these buds won't fall-out.
If you get the right fit for eartips it will decrease the occurrence of one or both the buds from dropping out of your ears.
Note that: ** If you are looking for a multi-pairing device for bluetooth.. these buds do NOT support multi-pairing; also does NOT support NFC. ** The latency on bluetooth for PCs, iOS and android can sometimes be high.. it varies (I'll have to inquire to JLab).. but some devices and apps compensate for this lag so don't worry it might not happen often.
The recording and phone function work okay. I've always had people tell me I sound fine and clear...maybe that my voice only lacks a little body.
One earbud pairing is available. (note that: you can only be using one bud and still listen to a song, tap once on the bud and it'll pause the song and take the call, you can talk on the phone with one ear bud.) There are plenty earbuds.. wired and unwired.. that have a mic only in one bud.
**The price point, $12.99 (when they go on-sale), make it a no-brainer. If you need a pair of buds for being on-the-go that has a good battery life - these buds are for you!
The cons:
** LACKS COMPANION APP ** For a fan of music..no companion app kind of stings. I can't customize my own EQ settings; I will be unable to tweak more life out of the battery by adding some amplification (I can have the buds at a lower volume setting). Plus, well, lets face it, some productions are dull / and or old; they need more boost/enhancement.
** NO STABILIZER FIN ** this one is kind of annoying. But oh well - I guess other brands do this, too. Why wouldn't anyone want a stabilizer fin? It can almost be as good as the hook-wrap-arounds.
** LINE OF SIGHT RANGE (LoS) ** You're supposed to get about 152 ft. of Los range. When you get more than 30 you'll notice it gets herky-jerky (or maybe its just mine.. I'll have to ask JLab about it). Mine actually do weird things like starting and stopping if I bend down or sometimes even touch one of the buds (another question for JLab).
** There's no ANC (meaning noise canceling) ** but I am not disappointed because alot of budget headphones/buds do not at this price point; and well, these do some other SO well it can be overlooked.
So, with that being said, your voice over the microphone in a crowd could, and potentially will get drowned out---may be completely in some scenarios.
What else? I guess there are some Control Issues.
1) Sometimes the tap command is TOO (or, if you have it positioned in your ear just-so then it doesn't seem to work): When you change the volume there's no feedback-- you can accidently pause your music or enable voice assistant etc.
2)Have to have both buds for some functions: Left turns vol. down; right turns it up. Left hold, back song; right hold, forward etc etc
The option to use a JLab app would be great. ** You have to be playing music to change the EQ options.
The short, built-in-charger could end being a liability; its flimsy and dangles often from an outlet.
Note that: I am pretty sure they recommend a 1amp connection to recharge. LoL - I better make sure anything more than 1amp has smart charge technology (assigns the proper powercharge to device).
This is my first pair of wireless earbuds that I've purchased, and well, used for more than just a couple of times. So...I miss some of the other nuances in pointing out pros and cons.
This is probably my third(3rd) or fourth review I ever did on items in 15 years. Thanks for your patience reading my review. Hope you enjoy JLab's GO Air POP. -There's not much risk for $12.99.. and no regret; they're a great basic/starter pair of wireless earbuds.

I have been a fan of this brand for years. Their earbuds fit my ears perfectly and provide better sound quality than I expected in this price range.

Great sound for a budget price. Biggest issue is that after only having my first set for a year and a half, one of the earbuds started going out.

I like them. They are great... Then if you drop one out of the earbuds because it slides out the conversation drops with client on phone. Then if you lose one of them. No way to get the other to contect.
