Great Value for the Money
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Recently I acquired a nice higher end set of wireless in-ear headphones. So nice, that I have been hesitant to use them while biking or doing outside yard work due to their replacement cost. When I saw these JLAB GoAir True Wireless in-ear headphones for about 1/7 the price, I was curious as to how they would perform. In addition, if by chance I did drop them or lose them outside, maybe I would not cry. Many of the features of the premium set were similar to those on the JLAB GoAir – at least in theory. Simple taps of either the right or left ear piece controls volume, music tracks, sound equalization, phone functions, and virtual assistants. I struggled quite a bit trying all the features, as the “touch” or “tap” – especially applied in single, double, or triple applications can be quite tricky. At first I thought the features were not working correctly, until I realized it takes a “practiced” touch to make them operate as intended. That said, something like the multiple equalization settings allow you to make subtle differences in the sound output, so subtle that they are almost indistinguishable from one another. I must admit that my premium in-ear headphone controls operate much nicer. (BUT – keep in mind that they cost 7 times as much.) The packaging for the JLAB GoAir is quite acceptable, especially at this price point. The carrying case allows for remote charging and I believe holds the individual earbuds in via a magnet. The case has an integrated USB charging cord, and is quite attractive and well designed – especially considering the price. The earbuds paired quite quickly and easily to my Samsung Galaxy S9. I used them both inside around the house, as well as outside for several hours while doing yard work. After a couple of hours my ear canals started hurting a bit. Then I took a big risk for me – keep in mind that I have this fear of them falling out – I tried replacing the ear gel cushions with the smaller ones. No pain and they seemed to stay in just fine. At this price, I can face my fear of them falling out. And although I am not a fan of the control buttons, I can live with them and be very happy with the price of the headphones. I recommend them to anyone looking for a good go to set of wireless in-ear headphones. Like a nice pair of worn jeans, I think you will be happy with them.

These two don't pair well
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It was a good item until it wasn't... Now these darn things keep unpairing from each other and it is such a battle to get them coupled again. I get frustrated and want to throw them against the wall!

Great Things Come in Little Packages
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have been watching JBL Audio for a couple of years now. Their technology and product continue to impress me. The latest and newest member to the product line-up is the JLAB GO Air True Wireless in-Ear Headphones and it is no exception. The JLab GO Air True Wireless in-Ear Headphones is definitely a product not to be excluded when shopping for in-ear headphones. It has just about anything you could want, delivers a high-quality sound, and has a really great price to go with all of that. I think my initial impression of the product intrigued me to look at the product further. The sleek little charging case has an attached integrated charging cable that can be concealed flush when not in use. Nothing else to keep up with here, just the little flat charging case and the earbuds themselves, and for me, this a very good thing! There is a 43 mAh lithium-polymer rechargeable battery in each earbud. The earbuds charge fairly quickly and then each one can work up to 5 hours before it needs to be recharged. The case holds an additional 15+ extra hours of charging power which makes recharging them on the go very practical and easy. So, 20+ hours of Playtime is nothing to speak of lightly and that is my initial impression of the product. Next, I love these because they have a dual connect, paired very easily, and re-connect, or auto connect, to your device whenever they are removed from the case. No hassle, just use them and enjoy them. Ninety-nine percent of the time they will connect perfectly with ease. It is also easy to know when they are charging and when they are fully charged while they are still in the case. A pulsing blue light indicates that they are charging, and this will turn off when the earbuds are fully charged. Another thing that I really like about this product is that it is very light and small. It fits in the ear canal and stays there. Just for good measure there are two other tip sizes to help you get the perfect fit. Each earbud is designated specifically for either the Right or Left ear. They both have a microphone so incoming calls are very clear, but the right and left helps you learn and apply the various functions. To turn the earbuds on, a press and hold for 3 seconds is needed on each one. A tap on the Right Earbud increases volume whereas a Double Tap causes the audio to play or pause. A call can be answered with a Single Tap and hung up with a Double Tap. Equally a single tap on the Left Earbud reduces the volume and Siri or Google can be summoned with a double tap. To track back, just press and hold the left earbud for 1+ seconds. JLab Audio adds dimension to their sound too. There are three built in Equalizer Modes, and they too can be adjusted from the earbud by tapping three times on each one. The JLAB EQ Modes are the JLab C3 Signature Sound which amplifies the vocals and bass (my favorite), or a Balanced Mode that offers even sound with no sound advancements, or the Bass Boost which amplifies the bass and sub-base. I definitely cannot end this review without mentioning the 30’ Bluetooth activity range? That is pretty sufficient if you are working around your home or moving about your office. Actually, it is more than sufficient in most cases. There is a lot to like about these and I cannot think of anything that the manufacturer forgot while designing the JLab GO Air True Wireless In-Ear Headphones. If you are looking for a new pair of earbuds or in-Ear Wireless Headphones, and you want something that is light, charges fast, pairs easily, has a secure fit and more than ample activity range, then I suggest that you give these a try. I do not think that you will be disappointed at all.

Quality Sound, Okay Comfort. Sensitive Features.
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Overall, these JLab wireless earbuds sound good but they are occasionally uncomfortable and have sensitive ‘tap’ features for volume and skipping. Start up is nice, it gives me pertinent information by saying “Hello. Bluetooth Connected. Battery Full”. The Bluetooth needs to be activated on the device first, and then the ear buds start to connect automatically once using the same device again. The ear buds automatically connected and even started up Spotify from where I left off the previous time I used the device. The Sound Quality was good. This set has 3 Equalizer Modes: JLab Signature, Balanced, and Bass Boost. I prefer the JLab Signature. This package comes with multiple earbud inserts of different sizes. Looks, Comfort, Fit: The look is sleek, white and grey. The case comes with a short USB charging cable attached. It tucks away neatly. I can’t say these earbuds are the most comfortable and they’re a little hard to fit to get used to. I used these while working out and they fell out once or twice, took me a little while to figure out the best angle to place them for my ears. When using them just to lay around and watch YouTube on my phone, my ears started to hurt after about 20 minutes. I would like to use them for longer periods of time. The “buttons” or “tap” features on the ear buds are a little sensitive. It might take a few taps before it registers to start once you’ve been using them. When watching YouTube, I wanted to use one earbud or I would take one out to hear something else, the ear buds would activate the “next” feature and it would skip to another video before I was done. I find that turning the volume up directly on my phone is simpler than tapping the ear buds, but I can see how it may be helpful if you’re far enough away from the phone that you would need to use the volume single tap feature. The battery seems to be healthy within the first week of use and it’s easy to charge with the charging cable attached on the case. The magnets seem to be strong enough to stay in the case without risk of falling out. The case does not have a cover so removal and restoring the earbuds is accessible. The earbuds and the case have a clear L and R labeling.

Great in ear buds. Simple to use.
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great easy to use ear buds. Simple design. Functional and pumps out pretty good sound. Setup was a snap. Case comes with built in plastic USB cord. Not sure how long it will last but at least you won't loose the cord or keep asking others in the house "Who's got the cord?"... Charged up initially at around 3 hours or so. Overall total system is lightweight. Pairing with bluetooth was a cinch. Tap functions are easy to use and work nicely. Equalizer 3 presets are good. Voice and bass are half decent. Phone calls, assistant use, etc are all good. Battery life is good. I am on day 2 on 14 hours and it is holding its use. I wished the case could hold a charge so I did not always have to plug the entire unit in. Or it could wirelessly charge. But for a simple design and all in one package these earbuds will do the job. The only other wish I had was for pass through sound to be allowed as an option. Fit was good, it sealed ambient noise out. Worked out in them and they did not fall out. I would suggest you try all the ear buds to make sure they work for you. Everyone's bodies are all different so pick the ones that are the best for you. I have used other Jlab products and they have all been good products. Good job Jlab.

Junk do not buy.
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Would not buy these ever again. Piece of junk. The earbuds continually have problems. One day they both work and charge just fine. Then out of no where only one will work and charge. Then all of a sudden a few days later the other starts working again and then a few days later the other one stops working. I have read other reviews after this happened that this is a problem for a lot of people. Have been on Jlabs website and they say it is a pairing problem. Well if it was a pairing problem that would be one thing, but when one of the earbuds is dead and won’t charge you can’t pair it. You can see from the pictures that the one that has the white light is working the other one is dead. If you put the ear bud in the docking station it should light up. Middle picture won’t light up so no charge, the other one that works it lights up when you put it in the charging station. My wife is having the same issue with hers. I didn’t follow my own advice you get what you pay for. Stay away.

Great Product!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was skeptic at first due to the price $30 I thought really could wireless earbuds be this cheap? I’ve bought Bluetooth ear buds from Marshall’s or TjMaxx before but they always came with a long cord attaching each bud which made them very obnoxious. I do have an IPhone but I could not see paying $150 for AirPods it just seems ridiculous. I have read reviews about pods not connecting. I have had these air buds for 3mos now and have not experienced any issues. I will say if the pods are not connecting just place then back in the holder wait a sec until the like is blinding blue and it should be fine. Also make sure when you place the correct pod in the correct side as-in left goes in left side and right with right. If you do not do this they will not charge and not connect. Also I have worked out with these once and they do like to not stay in place as well as others but I mainly use them for listening to podcasts. They are totally worth $30, heck I would pay $50 such a great product!

Unbeatable Value
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The JLab GoAir headphones are my first pair of JLabs and I'm pretty impressed with them. I think you'd be hard-pressed to find another pair of wireless headphones in this price range that offer this many features. Unboxing the GoAir headphones is pretty standard. Inside the box, you'll find the charging/ storage case, headphones themselves, and large and small gel (silicone) cushion tips. The medium tips are already attached. Build quality is good with attention given to important components. Almost everything is plastic, but two magnets were used instead of one to keep the headphones inside the charging case during charging and storage. I was concerned that an open case design would be a bit risky, but I can confirm the two magnets are STRONG and you have to try aggressively to get the headphones to pop out of the case when you don't intentionally want them to come out. Fit-wise for me, the medium gel cushion tips work well. The shape of the earphones places the tips at a comfortable depth in my ear canals that does a pretty good job of noise isolation. ANC is not a feature these headphones have, but I wouldn't expect it at this price point. Features on the headphones themselves are impressive. JLab claims 5 hours of playtime on each earbud and an additional 15 hours of playtime with the charging case that has a built-in USB charging cable. That's a nice feature that eliminates one additional charging cord you might have to carry around with you. The earbuds are rocking Bluetooth 5.0, which creates a super strong connection with your phone or other Bluetooth device. I haven't noticed any lag with video audio on my iPhone 8+. Touch controls on the buds are responsive and allow you to change volume, track, EQ settings, play/ pause music, and access Google/ Siri. Sound quality is definitely better than I expected at this price point. While JLab's novel feature is custom EQ3 sound (basically you can change between signature, balanced, or bass boosted sound with 3 taps on either earbud), I find myself only using JLab's signature mode. To me, the balanced mode seems too bland and the bass boost makes the bass feel too synthetic. The signature mode strikes the right middle ground, but again that's very subjective and just my take. One other little gripe I have about these headphones is volume. I find myself listening at 80-90% volume and that is not ear-piercingly loud. You need that much volume just to get to normal jamming volume. Not a deal-breaker, but definitely causes battery life to take a hit. Overall, if you want some quality, super portable earbuds that you wouldn't cry over losing because hundreds of dollars went down the drain, I would absolutely recommend you pick these up.

Decent if you know what you want.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Audio quality is average or below. Mic quality is not good enough to use reliably outside. I like that they are white and easy to find. Good for the price. If you are looking for cheap easy to see headphones that fit comfortably enough I recommend these. I like the built in charger.

Good value for the price
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’ve used Apple wired EarPods for years and wanted to ditch the untangling of wires, but not break the bank on AirPods yet. Overall- these JLab Go Airs are worth $29 for my needs. I now have a set of headphones I can easily put in without untangling for a minute that seems to last forever. Positives: - Charging case battery life: I’ve hardly had to charge (and it will plug into Apple USB charger or laptop) - Battery life of earbuds: I have used them for streaming several shows in a row without coming close to running out of battery - Earbud: completely fills my ear, so outside noises are nearly completely blocked. As someone with social anxiety, I could see myself using these in noisy environments even without audio playing to get some quiet - Price: really good value for the low price relative to alternatives Negatives: - Comfort: I need to frequently adjust the angle of the earbuds. If they sit on my ear in one spot for too long it gets uncomfortable. I’ve never had that problem with Apple EarPods. These have a rubber tip that you can remove. I spent a few days with it removed, and I still had comfort issues. (Also, it it removed, they don’t block out the outside noise completely, which can be a good thing if I need to be able to hear my kids playing) - Sound Quality: you get what you pay for. The audio quality is poor. Inexpensive speakers that do the job of carrying sound. - Volume: the max volume level isn’t that loud. When running on the treadmill, I need to have these turned up all the way, and feel like I could use 1 or 2 levels higher.

Good Budget True Wireless Headphones
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have had these headphones for about a month. They sound great! Good clarity and deep bass. The battery life is very good as well. My only real complaints are the buds do not really stay in my ears while I am moving around (I wear them at work) and I wish they were a little louder. Other than that they are great for the price.
