So these were a fabulous option and they work amazingly well, and for the price, you can't beat it.

cuts out every 3 seconds

It was inexpensive so it not being the best sound quality didn't surprise me, nor it being a bit quiet even when volume is cranked to the max. however, it is now cutting out. It plays for 3 seconds and then skips for about 0.5 seconds. Unfortunately, I actually bought a 2nd pair which I gifted. I hope that one isn't having the same issues.
