Customers frequently mention the excellent sound quality and long battery life as major pros of the GO Work Pop Wireless On-Ear Headset. Many also appreciate the comfortable fit and convenient Bluetooth connectivity. However, some users point out the lack of a mute button and occasional fit issues as drawbacks. The headset's lightweight design is another frequently cited positive attribute.

A Reliable and Affordable Wireless Work Headset

The JLab GO Work Pop is a good option for anyone looking for an affordable, reliable, and relatively comfortable headset. It has a modern design with a reasonably comfortable fit, and it delivers clear sound quality. The headband doesn’t have any additional padding on top, which would have added to the comfort. The fabric ear pads could definitely use a bit more cushion as well. The microphone is also decent, and it does a great job of picking up your voice in louder environments.
I used this microphone in both Webex and Teams with no issues and paired it with my MacBook Pro without a problem. Battery life lasted me throughout my workday and is advertised at about 50 hours. I had no connection issues until I stepped well out of Bluetooth range when going to my garage for a soda.
The sound quality was okay, but listening to music definitely demonstrated that this headset is better suited for meetings, spoken word, and audiobooks. There is a distinct lack of bass and the sound is a bit hollow. Please choose something else if you want to really get into music while working and having meetings. The “Music” mode setting did nothing to help its sound in my opinion.
Overall, the JLab Go Work Pop is a budget-friendly headset that delivers everything a person would expect and maybe even a little more than it should for the price. I recommend this headset to anyone who doesn’t want to spend a lot but wants to feel like they did.
Here’s a quick pros and cons list of the headset:
Pros:
Clear sound quality
Fabric ear pads stay nice and cool
Good microphone performance
Long battery life
Affordable
USB-C charging
Cons:
The headset can be a bit tight on the ears
Ear pads could be better padded. The headband would benefit from some padding as well.
The microphone can pick up some background noise

I work from home and was i need of a pair of headphones that could keep up with me and these look like they would suit my needs. On paper they are pretty good so lets have a look at what the Jlab Pop has to offer.
:::Initial Impressions:::
Upon removing them from the box this is as straight forward as it gets. You will find the headset itself and then the USB Type C Cable for charging. These are really lightweight and simple and I like that. SO far so good.
:::General Thoughts:::
Setup was pretty much effortless you have the volume rocker and power button. They came partially charged. I work from home and make quite a few phone calls throughout the day using a VOIP service.
These headphones are comfortable and worked immediately in Windows when I set the headset for the first time.
As far as comfort your mileage will vary because everyone has different sized heads. I find that for my use this fits perfectly and don't need much adjustment. The ear cups have a decent amount of padding and are comfortable and are the on ear type so you will not sweat after extended periods of use. These do not feel fragile but I would still treat them with care because anyone who has owned headphones like this know that if you treat them roughly they will not last long.
Charging time as per manufacturer is rated at 2 & 1/2 hours. I found that my headset did not need that much time. As far as battery life goes I use it during a typical work week 9 - 5 five days a week. I found that I can get roughly a whole work weeks worth of battery life.
Sound quality can vary as well depending on usage and your particular environment. I use two other Bluetooth devices a mouse & keyboard and they do not interfere with the audio which is good, I do not get complaints about not being heard. I can not speak for noise cancelling because I make calls and hardly receive them.
I am soft spoken and this mic picks up my voice pretty well and I do not have to yell at the mic to be heard. I really appreciate that a whole lot. I also use Teams for work and when we have morning meetings go smoothly with these and my coworkers do not complain about me not being loud enough.
:::Pros & Con's:::
Pros:
- Lightweight
- Simple to use
- Comfortable
- Rotate mic upward to mute feature (pretty cool)
- Long battery life
I have not encountered anything that I dislike or find to be concerning during my use.
:::Closing Thoughts:::
I like these headphones they are simple to use, simple to setup, have good battery life, and work as intended. They also are not expensive so I appreciate that greatly. On paper these are pretty darn good and after using it a couple of weeks I found that they are great for working from home or those who do similar types of work as I do.
:::TL;DR:::
You need a headset for work and want something simple then have a look and consider these they work as intended and are easy on your wallet.

Ive been using the JLab Go work Pip wireless on ear headset for my zoom meeting and work & its absolutely amazing! I love every bit of it! They are beyond comfortable and dont give me a headache... most pver the ear headphones are uncomfortable and give me a tension headache but these are so lightweight and didnt cause me any issues. The spund quality is amazing... even when someone is yelling across the other line i can still hear them clearly. I love that i can rotate the mic because i dont like to keep it in front of my mouth at all times. I love that its bluetooth connected and wireless becayse it just makes things so much easier than being tied to a wire. I can use it for days before having to charge it again. It takes a usb-c charger which is convenient for me. I love that i can also listen to music while im not on a call. Overall these headphones have been an absolute charm to wear and have made my zoom meetings and worl load a breeze. It has clear sound, loud enough to hear clear, and its comfortable.

The JLab - Go Work Pop Wireless On-Ear Headset connects easily to a cell phone and/or devices for use. The setup didn't take long. Under about 1 to 2 minutes maximum. App was easy to find. While using the headset to contact families that I assist, I was told that my call came in clearly and that there was no feedback sound coming through. This was nice to hear since I have a fan turned on in the background while I am working. The side that has the rotating microphone is where your able to locate the buttons, that allow you to adjust the volume of the headset for answering calls and listening to music. When powered on the headset will let you know if the battery is full. This headset has the capability of lasting longer than 50 plus hours. A Type C charging cable comes with it. It is nice that there is a music mode and EQ Voice.
Pros:
• Cloud Foam Cusions with Fabric Earcups (Fits Nice and Snug)
• Rotating Microphone
• Rotating Earcups
• Can connect to two devices
• Excellent Sound (no feedback)
• Buttons on the side for quick access
• Has metal to provide durability.
Cons:
Could not locate a mute buttton.
Not a deal breaker. I would recommend this product to others who want a headset to get the job done.

Bring your 90s headset to work day

I’ll start by saying that even though I’m giving these a 5 star rating, don’t expect to be blown away by their sound quality. I’d say that considering what these headphones bring to the table / at the price point they are in, they kind of deserve a five star rating but I also don’t want to steer people in the wrong direction because I could see some people being disappointed with these if they see a five star. Anyway.. I digress. These Jlab headphones have throwback style reminiscent of the headphones that used to come with walkmans in the 90s. So they give me a lil smile / nostalgic trip. They feel pretty similar to those lol. The cushions dont really cover your ears, they just sit on your ear and the sound spills out. Build quality is good, the headband is all metal and the earcups are connected with stiff and rigid plastic. The fabric over the earcups feels like the sponge material the old headphones used to come with but these are definitely made better and will last longer. The microphone can swivel in either direction so you can position it on the left or right side of your head. The earcup doesn’t seem to have a mute button for the microphone, and a power button and volume buttons. Sound quality isn’t going to blow anyone’s mind. But they sound pretty decent. They definitely remind me of the old headphones I had with all my old walkmans. You cant feel much bass through these, but mids and treble sound clean and crisp. I’d say they say their sound profile is is on the flatter side with a hint of bass. What these headphones do excel at is voice communication. I used them in a phone call, PlayStation and Discord chat apps and my friends voices came through very loud and clear. They said my voice came through loud and clear as well. Battery life is great. I’ve yet to charge them even though I’ve used them for at least 6/7 hours over the last couple days. It comes with a usb c cable for charging. Would I recommend these? If you want a great microphone and earphones for working from home / chatting or podcasting. I would say sure! The microphone is pretty good and they get the job done for just about everything else. They don’t have amazing sound quality but it’s nice to just keep
One pair of headphones on when working / chatting / occasional music listening and it’s always fun to have some nostalgic gadgets around the place to use and share.

Clear sound, excellent ambient noise reduction

Excellent sound quality for calls, and the mic is also very good at cancelling ambient noise. When my wife made a test call to me and made a lot of extra noise with her feet (stomping and scraping her shoes against the floor), I didn't hear any of that. Her voice was otherwise clear and undistorted. Although these on-ear headphones aren't ideal for music (since it won't isolate outside noise as in-ear buds or over-ear headphones would), the sound quality is still pretty decent, with crisp high and mid frequencies, and some bass (but don't expect your eardrums to be rocked).
Fit is very comfortable -- not overly tight, as I've experienced with other similar kinds of headphones. Size can be adjusted easily, and the arms stick in place securely after adjustment. The earpads are soft and comfortable, but it's difficult to say how durable they'll be over time.
Pairing is quick and easy, and they reconnect almost immediately. Buttons are easy to reach and the controls are fairly intuitive. Charging is via USB-C port.
Overall, and excellent choice for work.

Light weight, sound is good. Volume not very loud at full volume. Can barely hear at times, but that could be to my aging ears failing me yet not too loud for me even at fill volume.
Have two of these do can pretty much go non-stop listening to mostly music or online audio on computer but having one headset on to charge and switching out when one in use informs of a ‘low battery’ state.
Haven’t used the microphone abilities yet. Don’t use that much, but went with the built in mic just in case
Would recommend getting if looking for long listening hours, quick charging, light and comfortable on-ear headphones.

The JLAB Go Work Pop Wireless On-Ear Headset is a good solution for those looking for a simple and affordable on-ear headset. Straight out of the box, the headphones come with a USB to type-c charging cable, ensuring easy charging right in the earphone. The microphone boom swivels allowing you to position the microphone on either the left or right side. The look and feel of this headset remind me of a little bit of my Walkman days. There is no padding on the top so you have a wire across your head. The ear pads have a small cushion but you definitely feel them against your ears. One of the highlights of this product is the ability to connect two devices simultaneously via Bluetooth. For example, this allows you to listen to something on your computer and take calls on your phone. The JLAB Go Work Pop headphones say they have 50+ hours of work time. When I answer calls on the headphones my friends and family can hear me clearly and don’t complain of any background noise. It is easy to control your music tracks, volume, and answering calls from the three buttons on the bottom of the ear cup. I would recommend these as value-priced headphones.

I love the color and the battery life is good so far. The sound quality is nice. I hate that it doesn’t work with my soft phone to answer while walking around but that may a disabled feature by my place of work. They can get a little uncomfortable after a while but I honestly haven’t used an on ear headset that didn’t cause me some sort of annoyance. The cushion helps though. I will say they can get hot but only become sometimes walk in my treadmill while working so ots obvious I would. Overall neat little headset for work.

The setup connection and Bluetooth work well. Sound quality is excellent for conversations.
After the original setup, the technique for answering calls is poorly explained. If I don't turn off the headset after each call, I can't answer the phone in my pocket; I have to find the headset and answer from it. So I turn it off each time. When I answer the phone, while I'm talking, I turn the headset on, so the first 5 or 6 seconds is during a transition from phone to headset, which is awkward.
I wish the default could b the phone itself, and then a simple tap on the headset button would connect; then I could leave the headset on all the time.
The headset is great for lengthy conversations when you're busy with other projects. And a sanity saver for those calls from long-winded friends!

This lacks a lot of the features that the original Go Work had, such as a physical mute button and microphone pass through (which is something that after a year of using the original I only recently learned about) but it has all of the basic things, like a quality mic and balanced sound (especially for the voice calls that it's intended for). The one real benefit is that, at least after a month of using it, it has over the original Go Work is the build quality. I loved the original, but over time the plastic degraded on both side at point where there was a lot of tension. From what I can see of the Pop, it has a different, thicker shape at those points, which leads me to believe that it would hold for longer. I love the Mems mic in both. Great noise cancelation. Terrible decision to remove the physical mute button.

JLab GO Work Pop Wireless Office Headset
Quick Overview
=================================
I recently reviewed the similarly named JLab GO Work Wireless Headset and this is the slightly cheaper version, the JLab GO Work POP Wireless On-Ear Headset.
JLab is known for making good-quality products that are more affordable than some of the higher-end offerings. Still, they somehow manage to pack some premium features in there as you'll see in my review.
Overall build
=================================
Unlike the other version, this Go Work POP is a bit more simple, with an exposed metal headband, thinner plastic arms/earpieces, and foam ear pads instead of the "leather"-like ones on the non-POP model. Still, this version is cheaper and we should expect a few changes.
In the box, you'll get just one cable: a USB-A to USB-C charging cable. With up to 50 hours of "work time" that's plenty of time in-between charges, and even I wouldn't worry about charging it everyday.
The earpads are foam and are stretched over a deeper opening, so if you push gently you can feel some space in there. That's a good thing for comfort or those with smaller ears. More color choices are available including Teal and Lilac! I just go the black/grey but that's perfect for an office headset. The side with the mic (you can swivel it to use on either side of your head) has a power/pairing button and volume up/down which can also be used for other functions if you hold the buttons down. It's laid out well in the manual.
I let the headset charge and when it was done, I was ready to test!
Performance
=================================
Pairing these was very easy and I was pleased to see they also support multipoint! That's right, even on this "budget" model you can have this paired to your work computer and your phone for quick switching. That means you can pair two devices and switch between them easily. Some higher-end offerings lack this and it's extremely convenient for using a headset that's connected to your computer and your phone. When a call comes in, you're ready - regardless of the device you need to answer on!
First, I paired this with my work laptop (a MacBook Pro M1) easily via Bluetooth, then I turned off Bluetooth and paired it with my work phone (Pixel 6a). After that, I was good to go on either device!
I'm in Zoom and Team calls constantly throughout the day/week so I was able to do a lot of real-world testing.
Whether it was Teams or Zoom, there was no problem using the headset and I noticed that it was a tiny bit lighter than the non-POP headset. If I add up all the meeting time, I'm on somewhere between 6-12 hours of virtual meetings every week, with some rare weeks with even more meeting time. This last week was around 10-11 hours of video calls and the JLabs had no issue. I underestimated how much I'd like the wireless aspect since I'm often using the laptop's built-in mic with the built-in speakers. That's convenient for not wearing any device, but sometimes I feel I have to get a little "shouty" to be heard clearly. With the JLab GO Work POP headset, I could just speak conversationally with no issues being heard. Also, for calls where I wasn't on video, I could actually walk around, get some steps in, etc. without needing to be at my desk "just in case" someone asks me something.
I still charged it at the end of the week, but there's no "charge anxiety" here. You should be able to get through a normal work week with no problem unless you happen to be working longer hours or listening to music in addition to meetings.
Sound-wise, they sound pretty good! Bluetooth is more convenient than it is high-quality, but for speech in meetings, it's great. The mic was great with no complaints from my co-workers nor on my "self test" with the Zoom and Teams meeting tools. Sure it's not as good as a dedicated RODE mic I have, but it sounds perfectly fine for video calls. I have plenty of other headsets for music, but these are great for listing to your training videos, podcasts, etc. Since you can switch between voice (focused on speech) or music (better audio quality) I think most people would consider them just fine for music as well!
My ears aren't ideal for these types of headsets since they stick out. As with the non-POP ones, I was surprised with how comfortable these were due to the swiveling ear cups. Not only can they swivel to sit flat and be packed away, they can swivel slightly in the other direction to accomodate more ear/head fits.
Conclusion
=================================
For the price, getting a long-lasting headset with good call quality and BT multipoint makes this JLab GO Work POP Wireless On-ear Headset a great choice for working from home or general office usage.
