Great little wireless buds for casual listening.

I've had these over a year and use them quite a bit.
They aren't the most expensive ear buds. They aren't the best sounding ear buds, either. But they do have good battery life at more than 4 hours of constant use.
I'm not a big fan of the silicone tips. The large sometimes comes loose even though they feel a little tight. The mediums are just too small for me and I don't get a good seal for the good bass. I also have the 'crush fin' on, but it moves around a lot and sometimes might cover up the microphone. To me, they do get 'uncomfortable after a few hours of use.
The charging case is okay. No issues with the battery life and always end up charging before it runs out of juice. There's a built-in usb cable in the bottom. It's bi-directional, so it doesn't matter which way you plug it in.
I just open the case and they automatically turn on.
The buttons / controls are kind of flaky. Sometimes they don't pick up the first tap and / or if you tap too quickly. There are different settings for different number of taps on each ear bud. For instance, if I double tap the left, then Siri opens up and suddenly, i'm calling someone I don't want to call. But if you double tap on the right side, that plays / pauses.
I do prefer the jLab 'signature' sound over the 'balanced' and 'bass boost' equalizer modes.
When i've made calls through these, the people don't have trouble understanding me in noisy environments.
All in all, I think these are great little wireless buds for casual listening / use, as long as the fit is okay.

The sound is crisp and clean with a decent amount of bass. Similar in sound to Beats in my opinion. However, the max volume is pretty low. I would say I regularly listen at about 80%, and that’s in a quiet environment. Battery charge does lasts a long time and no problem with pairing. Because of the shape and size of the earbuds, I definitely wouldn’t recommend these for smaller ears. Overall, I am pleased with the quality and would purchase again for casual listen at home.

This is my first pair of wireless earbuds. I was drawn in particular to the price, and the brand had received a lot of good reviews online. I chose this product mainly for the affordability. So far, they work really well, and hold a charge for several hours. I had only had to recharge the case a handful of times.
My only complaint about the earbuds is the fit. I thought they would come with another set of the rubber covers so I could switch them out to fit my smaller ears. They do not. So if I am doing a vigorous activity like jogging, they are in danger of falling out and getting lost or damaged.
The sound quality is really good. At first, it had trial and error trying to get it to pair with my device, but after the initial set up, even that feature worked well. After that, it would automatically pair with my phone whenever I would remove them from the case. There is also an audio prompt that lets you know the earbuds have paired with your Bluetooth.

Best Truely Wireless Earbuds under $100

This is the best there is as of August 2019 for truly wireless earbuds under $100 for sure!
The sound is very full with great bass and clarity. If you're more used to a flat sound the built in EQ can be toggled; there are 3 modes, JLab Tuned (V shaped EQ), Flat and Bass Boost.
The default EQ is probably the best, flat is bit lifeless and Bass Boost alone is a little muddy.
For $60 these are a killer deal, they are pretty loud as well besting some of the older truly wireless headphones I've owned. The best in my collection is the WF1000XM3 which retails at 4 times the price of these and the touch controls aren't nearly as good/innovative.
I love that you can tap the Right bud on the logo to turn up the volume, left to turn it down. Hold Right skips to the next track and Left reverses to the beginning of the track or the previous track, depending on where you're at on the song. Double Tap of the Right Earbud is Play/Pause and Double Tap Left is your Voice Assistant (Siri on iPhone, OK google on Android)
This is truly innovative and I wish other companies (looking at you Sony) would use the same touch/tap scheme.
All in all these are the most premium, "basic" Truly Wireless buds I've ever owned and I love them!
The Sony is about 1-2 volume notches louder at max level but I don't tend to max those out. These I maxed out and while not as loud, it is definitely loud enough.
Do yourself a favor and just buy a pair. JLab is putting out some really good stuff for super low prices and you can't beat that!

I really liked these when I bought them, but after wearing them for a few weeks they started to take a toll on my ears. They’re too big for my ears, so now, after I wear them for a few minutes my ears feel like they’re going to burst. There’s too much pressure against the ear cavity so I went out and purchased another set.
Sound wise, I felt they were good. If you happen to be lucky enough to have a good seal with one of the 4 tips, it sounds very good. I say that as a person who wants a good sound, and not an audiophile.
The controls worked well, you just have to be very accurate when you hit them. Since you can’t see what you’re tapping, a lot of times you’re going to miss. I find that keeping my fingers very close to ears piece lessens the likelihood of me missing, but I still miss a lot.
I bought these on sale for $45 so the price wasn’t terribly expensive.
In conclusion, they are a good pair of wireless Bluetooth earphones but their size was a deal breaker for me.

As above... the sound quality, fit, function, and feel are all great. Bass, Mids, and Highs are clear as day. Instructions provided are a little unclear and can be a bit confusing at first but once you get the hang of them they're a pretty good bang for your buck. I have yet to wear the battery down all the way through long workouts and the case with built-in charging is great, good for 5-6 charges after use before needing to be charged itself though you need to be sure you're placing them in their respective R/L slots for them to actually charge

I use these when I am doing lawn cutting work to help shield from loud machinery noise while also enjoying listening to the Bible app on my phone. Problem that I should have forseen was that these can fall out of the ears just by inadvertent touching of them. I lost one of them for a moment that fell out of my ear as I was simply taking off my mask. But thanks be to God, I was able to find that one hidden in a nearby patch of English ivy. So, here is the summary: Good sound quality even with a short distance away from my phone left in the car while cutting grass; Can be used to mute outside noise if not even listening to anything at all; Good battery longevity after a full charge; the carrying case maintains a nice long charge as well; DOWNSIDE as can be imagined - can be easily knocked out of one's ear(s) if inadvertently brushed against. Not the best to be used while doing some jogging or other such activities.

JLab's JBuds Air Icon True Wireless In-Ear Headphones are a very good value. The sound quality is very good and allows for 3 different EQ settings to suit your ears' taste - if there is such a thing as ears' taste. They are comfortable and come with a variety of inserts to allow adjustment to your earie canal. To pair, you simply remove them from the case and they are ready. Pairing is very easy to do with multiple devices - just make sure the previous device you connected is off, then connect to the next one. I like that you can charge the battery that is built into the case which then charges the earphones when you put them in the case, making them pretty much always ready to use. The only negative is the touch buttons on each earphone. They are hard for me to access, I have to fumble to get them to react to my touch. Other than that, good quality build, the case is small but definitely sturdy, the pairing is simple and the sound quality is very good.

These earbuds will certainly get the job done, and for a whole lot cheaper than your other bluetooth options. Good sound quality, but the provided nubs are a little difficult to try and fit correctly. I've only had one time where the sound cut out and one earbud decided not to connect. Other than that, these have been great so far. The charging pod is convenient too, and the battery lasts for a good amount of time.

The bass on these are amazing! They’re much better than the previous versions. However, I personally wouldn’t pay $60 for them. I got them half off, and they are well worth it at that price point. Unlike many wireless earbuds, they CAN work with either ear bud. However, what you can do with each ear bud is limited. You can listen to music, answer calls, etc with either one while the other is in the charging case. But you don’t have full controls when using one independently (volume, pause/play, etc). That can be frustrating. They do have great sound quality and the charging case is very nice. Overall, a great bargain for wireless earbuds if you’re able to get them on sale.

I have been looking for a truly wireless set of buds for quite some time. I have tested multiple brands and tried these per recommendation of my brother. Let’s start with the pros:
The tap feature is really nice. It has many capabilities which is a good feature...however, the trap feature is a bit particular so if you don’t hit it in the right spot, it won’t register. These buds also handle bass REALLY well which can make listening more enjoyable. Another good feature is the rubber ring to help keep the buds in place, and these models come with two different sizes to reach a wider spectrum of consumers. Additionally, connectivity was quick and simple and it’s nice to be able to connect to both buds rather than connect to one bud which then sends signal to the other bud. Finally, they do keep playing even if you have just one in at a time which some people will find to be useful. Overall, great pair of buds for the price.
Unfortunately, there are some cons:
While the Jbuds have interchangeable rubber rings to keep them in place, they still aren’t perfect for every single person. I recently visited an audiologist and was told I have small ears so even with the smallest memory foam size and smallest rubber ring, they were just a hair big for my ears and I experienced more discomfort than preferred. Another feature I did not particularly like was the built in EQ feature. I know many like it, but I found it to be a nuisance simply because most devices come with built in EQ...so if you aren’t aware of what’s happening, you are pushing 2 EQs through the buds resulting in some extreme varying frequencies. I listened through my iPhone 8 and I discovered turning the EQ off on my phone and using the Jlab Signature EQ feature resulted in the best combination. Another feature I didn’t care for was the case. It’s a nice case and holds quite the charge, but it’s not the most sleek design for pocket carrying. You definitely notice it. Also, a con for me personally is the noise cancelling feature. I know some really like that in a pair of earphones, however I do not. I like being semi aware of what’s going on beyond my music while I have earbuds in. In order to talk and not have it feel like you’re under water, you have to at least take one bud out. Again, some will disagree, but that feature just isn’t for me.
Overall, I would for sure recommend these for people looking for an introductory pair of truly wireless buds with big sound and ease of use. For the more seasoned audiophile, I would really consider writing down your intended use of a bud and then shop around for a truly wireless set which check off most of the wants on your list.

Bought these a few months back, use them often. For $60 wireless earbuds they sound good, clear and crisp noise, some base. Battery-life, they last a long time, but you don't have to worry cause you can't wear them for long due to the plastic tips, hurt alot. So I bought their foam tip pack, those are wonderful. What is the biggest bummer is how terribly they connect to any phone. Take 2 or 3 tries and about half the time when they finally sync, only one side does. Nothing you can do but wait 10 min for the other to turn back on. For $60 wireless headphones they do the job but just not very well.

Loved it. I was lookin for a good wireless ear buds. I searched and ordered JLab Audio - JBuds Air Icon True Wireless In-Ear Headphones - Black. The battery backup is good once you charge it remain charged for 3 days at least. Sound Quality is good. I'll not say it's excellent in comparison to apple air pod or any high end models. It's worth for the price you're paying, you won't fell disappointed. One more thing, They are big in size and bit heavier unlike small ear buds like Samsung and Apple.

I’m going to start by saying I only have about 4 hours on these headphones so far. And the first thing I notice when I started listen to my playlist is the bass. It is very nice clean doesn’t clutter everything and sounds very clean. Sound quality is fantastic. I’m very happy with these. Of the 4 hours battery still shows 80%.they are a tad uncomfortable in my ears but I have not messed with changing the ear pieces around to find the right size.

I was pleasantly surprised at some of the features of this ear bud along with the sound quality. These were only supposed to be a temporary replacement for my jabra elite 65t's but ended up being so nice that I use it nowadays as my main gym set.
I love how these buds can connect individually to my phone. Thus I can use either only the right side, or the left side. In terms of sound quality, if I were being really picky, the bass is slightly brought out more. I'm sure JLab did this to appeal to the majority of people as most people tend to enjoy a little more bass end. All the other little settings that comes with the buds are just a gimmick. It really seemed that they spent time to create their "signature sound" and then with other settings such as bass boost, it feels like they just went to a mixer board and maxed out everything below 120hz and then completely dropped the highs. (which in a simplistic term, the highs sound distinctly less clear and the bass sounds like mudded crap).
No matter, at the discounted price of 30$ it was totally a deal! I think anymore and I would have expected a nicer set of ear tips (as the provided ones aren't comfortable and can be itchy) along with better tuned settings.

JLab are Go-To Wireless Ear Buds

I bought my first pair of JLab wireless buds a couple of years ago and use all the time for outdoor activities (yard work, snow shoveling). The 3-hour battery life in those are perfect and they are sweat-proof. The sound is loud, the bass is good, and work well after dropping from the roof on accident. So when it came time to buy another pair for non-work activities, I again went to JLab. In addition to the same great sound, bass, this Icon model has 6-hour battery life. Both pairs I own came with "cush fins" which sorround the ear bud, further holding them in place but also blocking out other noises. This is invaluable for yard work and long motorcylce trips. They twist and lock into the ears and never fall out. I forget I'm wearing them after a while. If ever the batteries go out and they no longer hold a charge (years from now?), I will buy more JLab to replace them. I'm very pleased with this brand and their price point. Great product for a great price. Keep it up. I'm also excited about their other products coming out this Spring and will definitely recommend.

I read lots of good reviews on these earbuds and they seemed to have all the features I would need for wireless earbuds. While I would probably occasionally use them both at the same time, my job requires I use only one at a time so I am able to hear what is going on around me, and to be able to respond to people. So I was disappointed to discover on first use that THE TOUCH CONTROLS DON'T WORK AT ALL IF ONLY ONE EARBUD IS BEING USED.
I contacted [email protected] thinking I maybe had a defective pair since none of the touch controls were working when I was using only one earbud, and the snarky response I got from them was "The icons will need each other for full functionality. Sorry for the bummer news : ( ".
The earbuds I had prior to this were cheap ($30-$35) no names from Amazon, SoundPEATS, that I had since September 2019. They only stopped working after being cleaned with a Lysol wipe after being dropped in an undesirable place. They had an IPX5 rating and I was careful to stay away from the microphone port, but the next day, nothing.
When they did work, they had the ability to use only the right earbud to stop and start playing using a double tap. I could also turn the earbud off and on by holding my finger on the touch surface for 10 seconds. I say all that because I mistakenly thought all true wireless earbuds would have similar function when using a solo earbud. Nope.
I think if a company is going to say that their earbuds are true wireless, that should also include at least the basic touch functions (if equipped). I rely on being able to stop and start to be able to talk to people for my job and it is not convenient to have to take my phone out of my pocket every time I need to do this basic function.
I will be returning these and have already purchased earbuds that do have the previously mentioned features and have of course confirmed that they do indeed work as expected.
If you are going to use both all the time or if touch controls don't matter then get these because they do sound good and are considerably cheaper than the competition.

JBuds have a great sound to them, the bass is great and the sound is clear and loud if you need it to be. I use these under some ear protectors when i mow and can listen without problems.
The only 2 griefs I have is My ears seem to not fit right, so I have to shove them way in to keep them from falling out which doesn't feel great, and the charger has some weird fold out dongle which make the box fall at weird angle when i have it plugged up to charge.

For Music - Must Use Blue Cloud Foam Tips
|
|

SHORT REVIEW: For strictly phone calls or web based meetings, OK to use the black silicone ear tips. For music, ditch the black silicone ear tips and replace with the blue cloud foam tips. A world of difference in sonic quality.
.
LONG-WINDED REVIEW: I wanted a set of TWS earbuds that would allow me to walk while listening to music (Sirius XM) without the wires hanging off my phone. Purchased a set on one of BB’s deal of the day at a substantial discount and thought I got a great deal. But these sounded like I had two tin cans over my ears with strings connecting to my phone… After using these for about 4 hours trying every android phone volume/EQ setting, listening to videos’, music, recording music, etc, I was ready to return them for being the most unnatural sounding things I have ever put in my ears. (My 10 year old economy Sony Sports wire earphones sounded 500 times better.)
.
I had tried two sizes of the black silicone ear tips (medium & small) and the volume was too low, lacking any resemblance of bass, very thin mids, weird sounding highs, while letting background noise through competing (and winning) with the music. Tried all three of JLab’s EQ settings, none helped. But then…
.
As a last effort before returning to the store, I replaced the black silicone tips with JLab's blue Cloud Foam eartips. Voilà! Music came to life, bass response magically projected where there was none, previous “tin can noise” was transformed into a pleasurable listening experience. Plus the overall volume had increased to a point where I had to lower it! The only down side is you loose the ability to hear background noise. But for music listening, that checks off the plus box for me.
.
I have to mention I do have a difficult time using the touch features, but I can live with that. Example: It is near impossible for me to toggle through the EQ settings by tapping 3 times. It just does not work for me. I am able to successfully tap the left earbud once to lower volume and tap the right earbud once to raise the volume. My Moto E (2020) phone is using Bluetooth 4.2LE while the JLab Air Icon is designed with the current Bluetooth 5 Core Specifications. They work (play music and/or phone calls) but it may be a limitation of my phone causing those features to be somewhat difficult to respond to my touch.
.
Now I will not claim these are the best headphones available. No doubt there are much better items out there with prices to match for those who demand top of the line cutting edge electronics. But for my current intended use, they do the job just fine. And when on sale, are very reasonably priced. Although I was ready to return them, I am now keeping these JLab Air Icon Headphones.
.
BOTTOM LINE: For strictly phone calls or web based meetings, use the black silicone ear tips. For music, ditch the black silicone ear tips and replace with the blue cloud foam tips. Note that if you register your JLab on their web site, they will send you a complimentary set of their blue Cloud Foam ear-tips, so you’ll have a spare set. Sweet!

Very comparable to more expensive ear buds. My only complaint is the volume is not as loud as I would like considering I use it for the gym and there is a lot of noise around. Could be it doesn't have much noise cancelling because whenever I do use it elsewhere, volume is fine. I like the three audio options between j lab signature, balanced and bass boost. I prefer balanced the most. Touch controls were a bit hard to use at first but eventually you get used to it. It is a bit unresponsive at times. Excellent value for the price though.
