It is a really good tripod if you like make videos a lot and taking photos. It is really good for your digital cameras and phone if you get an attachment for your phone you can put on it. I bought this for my GoPro Hero 4 Silver and I never go on a trip without it. It's especially great for time lapse shots on super awkward surfaces (ie rocks by the water). I lost one of the legs during my trip to Alaska and got exceptional customer surface from Joby. They really stand behind their product!

Very sturdy and hooked on many things to get the right shot with my Go Pro Silver. Love the level which was an added bonus.

Wow this tripod has allowed me to get awesome shots with my GoPro. I've used it during my hiking/cycling trips and it wasn't a pain to carry it. I can store it in my purse, stick it in my back pocket, very easy to carry. You will appreciate the rotating piece when you want a certain angle. It's so flexible! Buy it!

This is a great tripod. But it's more than a tripod. I love that I can hang it, stand it, clamp it... I haven't found a situation that I couldn't use it yet. All I can think of is if I need to wrap it around a telephone pole it might not be long enough! :)

Holds anything you can wrap it around. Rubber feet are superb. Highly reccomend one for anyone!!

I purchased this for my go pro 4 silver. Its great so far. Has a strong grip to it, so gets attached to uneven things pretty strong. Can't go wrong with this purchase considering the price you pay for it.

Needed a tripod, found this and realized I could wrap it around things for different angles and situations. Wow! Super impressed, it works just fine as a tripod but I find myself wrapping it around all sorts of things, balcony railing, door handles, etc, works like a champ!

Awesome accessory to use with your GoPro. Great to wrap on a near by tree to record a skate board jump. To stand on a rocky uneven hill side for a bike race and to prop up on an even table edge for any board game tournament. Very sturdy and solid piece that's ready for any adventure!

I bought the previous version Joby and don’t know what else I could ask if it. Granted, I was only using it with a smaller Sony a5100 and not a DSLR, but unless you’re packing a 1Dx or something of similar weight, this is the only one you’ll need. I removed one star because one of the legs pops out of its socket if I bend it too far, but I mainly use it as a handle for vlogging so it doesn’t bother me much.

The GorillaPod with mount works well even with my friend's DSLR camera. The flexibility of the legs made it possible to conform to rough terrains. (We used it for a lot of time lapse videos in the mountains.) Its compact design and its durability was well worth the investment!

This tripod is everything i needed it to be i can wrap the legs around so many different object and catch video of my RC cars in action. Full five stars. Also this thing is pretty solid and well made. Worth the money DEFINITELY worth it f it is on sale.

Although I do not own a GoPro, it was obvious that the Extra supplied standard 1/4 20 Mount would let this be used with almost any small camera. Or as I use it to hold a Video light for Off camera use.
