I have a couple of different devices designed to hold my phone. This one I use at work and by far it is the best solution. It's light, flexible, and seems durable. And despite the outward appearance that the phone cam only be placed in landscape-mode, the simple solution of just turning the entire assembly along with the phone on its side to the right works fantastically for portrait. It works because the legs can easily flex, so turning it on its side hold a phone portrait style is no big deal.

The tripod is very useful, it has a lot of configurations and my phone (Samsing J7) which has a 5.5 in display can fit into this tiny tripod. I used this with a handy app for my Pebble to take pictures way far without a timer and without any other person.

I love this cell phone holder!!!! It's so sturdy and flexible to re-adjust.

This suprised me with it's ability to hold even the very large Galaxy Note 8. It lets you manipulate into a variety of positions or cling it onto just about anything. My favorite so far being the steering wheel while waiting for someone to be picked up. It puts the phone right in your face and it feels like a bigscreen-in-the-living-room experience.

I really like this product so far! Since it is in the form of a dog and has 4 'legs' and the 'tail' rather than standard 3 legs of a tripod, this allows for a lot more possibilities for how you can stand it, which is really cool and useful! One downside, this will only really work for holding your phone in a landscape orientation, unless you are gripping onto some kind of upright pole with the stand. (This is because the 'head' of the dog only holds phones on the short side of the phone) I have another gorilla tripod stand for cameras as well and I have always loved these gorilla camera and phone stands, and this one is good as well!

It is quite useful for setting up the smart phone on the table doing video calls so I don't need to hold it in my hand. The only down side is that the elastic cord of JOBY's "head" is not long enough to hold the long side of the phone so it is more difficult to set up the phone in vertical position on the table than the horizontal position.

Functions exactly as expected. Quality build is solid. 4 stars bc I have limitations on positions due to the iPhone 7 plus being bigger, plus my case makes it heavier. At least it still holds the plus size phones.

I bought this to make Facebook Live videos and to take pictures using a timer and it works like a charm. Great investment for people who need their cellphones for work in the digital era and don't always have company to help. Very flexible and durable body.

I use the tripod for video chatting, so I don't have to hold my cell phone.

Joby makes nice products and this is no exception. The quality is good but this is a very small stand and may not be as good for larger phones. I have an iPhone 6s in a slim case and that is about the biggest phone I would use with it.

This is the second Joby K9 stand I have bought, one for home one for work. It is sturdy and flexible at the same time and the rubber feet make balancing easy on any surface. It can fit any phone size. I would definitely recommend.

I bought one of these for all my children. They are so neat. They fit basically any phone and you can pose it in many ways. My kids like using them because they look like a dog.

A bit small for a larger phone for my iPhone 7+, but it does hold it. Great for smaller phones or cameras as it seems to be good quality.

Needed a small stand to take pics on phone thru Apple Watch. This can be carried on hikes easily and holds the phone steady.

Well made, fits my iPhone 6plus, with case on. Adjustments of legs. Joby quality. Nice for displaying iPhone.

I mostly use mine when I am doing the dishes and want to watch a video. Fit most cases except the one I have with a cutout for credit cards. It is just kind of fun and unusual!

This Joby stand can accommodate phones around the size of an iPhone 5 or 6, but not anything larger. That said, it's very handy and well built, and useful for watching videos.
