i got this for the purpose of doing macro shooting ,, with a tripod and mounted led lights on it ,, but it does not just fit on the tripod with the camera attached ,,, ,, that i need to modify the plate somehow ,, but not figured that out yet .. but again ,, notta ina rush to .. if the round plate was just a 1/4" larger diameter ,, it wooda been purrrfect this is my alternative to spending big bucks for a macro light ring or brand name macro light ...that cost millionzillions of bucks

This upgrade allows for so many possible uses with your Gorillapod. I like being able to do multiple things with less weight for my photography. This unit can be used to add a small led lights and or a microphone for a camera phone or mirrorless camera. The strap makes it easy to secure your camera for stable time lapse shots. A lot of versatility in a small package.

Works great. Sturdy and holds the camera in place nicely. Not wobbly. Can be placed in many different areas. Would recommend.

Definitely worth the money for this upgrade. Very easy to add all the parts onto the tripod and adds so much functionality with the additional two arms. I plan to use this upgrade with the tripod to hold my reflector up at an angle and add fill lighting on the arms. So excited to add this to my kit.

I originally purchased this as an add on to the gorillapod grip because I wanted to mount a microphone and a light in addition to my DSL camera or cell phone. This attachment is perfect and gets the job done for whatever accessory you want to have mounted next to your video equipment. It’s very sturdy and can hold a good amount of weight. I highly recommend this!

The product works as advertised, the arms are handy to attach additional items and of feels solid. The only problems is I purchased it as a returned item in excellent condition, all parts included. And it was missing the adjustable strap. Very misleading item description.

Great Product! I would repurchase it. It is perfect for a Goriilar tripod.

Had to return it due to it is not compatible for Go Pro Max. It seems very good quality and durability. Unfortunately it is not what Im looking for when I need it asap for my bowling practices to watch my movements. Hope to see the specific mount part goes with Joby mount readily available.

You definitely need this rig for versatility in your video shots. Check the threads and heads on your Joby and you'll notice this is interchangeable with more tripods than listed.

Great attachment to my joby tripod. i helps me save space when photographing outdoors. Easy to use and saves me money so i don't have to buy more attachments

Had been so lacking in accessories to add to my main photo apparatus. This allows the attachment of two more pieces I had so desperately been seeking. Joby, you are a godsend.

Excellent set up for my videography with gimbal and monopod with and without dolly. Quickly just bend to needed position for lighting and move on.

I bought this for my grip pro 2 1k and it adds so much function even tho it says for 2 and 3k rigs.

I bought this for Usage with my iPhone and it’s Amazing as it’s so Versatile with One Arm I can use a Light and the Other a Mic.

If you get the Joby 5K tripod (handles up to 11 lbs), just the strap alone is worth this kit. I have no use for the extra shoes (mostly for GoPros), and I may or may not ever use the extra legs, but it's easy to see that situation where the legs alone make not be enough to support my Nikon P1000.

works well, it adjusts easily but stays where you put it even under a load about 10% over stated rating.
