Customers often highlight the GorillaPod SLR-Zoom and Ballhead Bundle's portability, light weight, and compact size as significant advantages. Many appreciate its high-quality construction. However, some users express concerns about the included ball head's stability and ease of use, suggesting potential improvements in this area. Overall, the positive feedback on portability and quality outweighs the negative comments regarding the ball head.

It came free with my purchase of a camera. I am surprised how versatile this little thing is. The flexible legs have a decent grip on things and it seems to hold a fairly heavy camera well.

We bought this on a trip because we couldn't fit our main tripod. It works great to put on the car, rocks, sign posts, etc, etc. I managed to get it to hang in the tracks on the hotel window. Took panoramas from the roof of the car. Even put it on some 4x4 sign posts to take some shots. It is a very flexible tripod that should be part of any photographer's arsenal.

I needed something that was going to be lightweight and small enough to travel abroad but also hold a DSLR camera. This tripod has done the trick.

This is awesome - as a wedding photographer, I don't see myself using it much until I found that I can strap it to a stair railing which is pretty darn awesome if I want a cool shot I can't get under my camera or over my camera to get! But overall, I won't use it much, but for my athlete and adventure friends they will love this for wrapping it around trees, grabbing it to rocks, etc to get some awesome shots!

Saw a video recently that shows all the different things you can do with this tripod, especially for videography. It might not do everything well, but it does everything. Makeshift shoulder rig for stabilization? Got it. It's wraps to anything. The only thing I'm iffy about is the quick release plate area as it doesn't seem very sturdy, but it looks like they fixed that on the bigger model which I plan on getting in the future. However I'll be keeping this one too because it's super handy

I got this as apart of a package deal for purchasing my camera. I was originally just going to give it away until I pulled it out on a hike and realized how awesome it was. It held up my 5D Canon Mark iii and the Canon - EF 70-200mm f/2.8L IS II USM Telephoto Zoom Lens that I had attached with no problem. I would recommend purchasing this if you're looking to have a set up for hikes.

    Best hand held tripod

This is by far one of the best had held tripods out there any many copies nut the original can't be duplicated. I've used the smaller joby tripods in the past for pointsnd shoots and for my iPhone and thee worked amazing especially the magnetic one. But this joby tripod take it to another level it has a level it so Wehrmacht your setting the shot us and setting a low angle shot you now it's going to come out perfect already. One flaw that I've seen is the release mechanism is easy to tap and if you do that the camera has the potential to fall to the ground if. Your not careful it happened to me on accident but luckily I was already in the ground and the camera fell only about 4 inches it could have been a lot worse though. Other then that flaw I'd say it's a pretty good tripod to have it works awesome to vlog with it grave you nice angles you normally can't get on your own. That's what I've beeen using it for if your on the fence I'd say jump cause they are on sale right now or were on sale about 14.00 off so it's the time to go for it and get one while on sale.

I have several gopro cameras and I use two JOBY. I am able to connect it to posts, fences, walls, in the sand, beach, really all over. It is easy to adjust and quick to set up when you are trying to capture a quick action shot. I don't use it for a large camera because I do not have one but I could see it working for that as well.

Joby Gorilla Pods have always been great for their portability and ease in setting up on the fly. This one is no different. I especially like the mount on the Joby branded version. This one's nice because even with a heavy DSLR mounted to it you can still warp the legs of the Gorilla Pod around almost anything and have it support the weight of the camera.
