Customers are saying

Customers often highlight the GorillaPod SLR-Zoom and Ballhead Bundle's portability, light weight, and compact size as significant advantages. Many appreciate its high-quality construction. However, some users express concerns about the included ball head's stability and ease of use, suggesting potential improvements in this area. Overall, the positive feedback on portability and quality outweighs the negative comments regarding the ball head.

I needed a decent tripod that would fit in my backpack that I was carrying on the plane for my vacation. This was the perfect size and I could hold it in one hand comfortably. I used it on railings, wrapped the legs around tree branches and backs of chairs to take pics with my camera. I loved how flexible it is!

I probably only set this thing up once or twice, I'd probably use it more if I had a small point and shoot instead of using my dSLR cameras

I have been using this with a light box for weeks now. I have arranged it in more configurations than I can remember. Quick detach mount makes it fast to remove the camera without changing pod set up for next set of photos. Quality is high on both nylon and steel parts and I expect this thing will out live me.

Awesome little thing I take on all my trips. Great for hiking and areas that are difficult to set up a full size tripod.

It does the job of holding my camera and I love that the legs bend and attach to anything. It’s worth it

I never knew they made one for SLR's. Excellent quality and allows for amazing shots I wouldn't get with a normal tripod.

I have tried this camera tripod with a canon 80D and canon vixia mini. Very easy to use and I’m a pretty laid back gal. I didn’t feel like it was cheaply made.

So I wanted a tripod to bring to iceland, and I needed something light to travel with. This ended up being a good tripod for that because it fit on my carry on. I only used it a few times but it was pretty cool how it can work on any terrain and can wrap around things. Pretty great for something so small :)

I picked the Gorilla pod up to take easy shots while i was mobile, making it easier to balance my tripod on tables or on the ground the record video. Works great with my GH4, the only limitation is the Ball Head has a proprietary adapter that i suggest upgrading to an ArcaSwiss style

Light weight flexible tripod. You can pretty much wrap the legs around anything and the tripod will hold. I purchased this to use with my iPhone

Nice little tripod that you can use to wrap around this rather then a standard tripod that's limited.

I got this to bring on vacation so I wouldn't need to lug around a traditional tripod. I don't love it. It feels like my camera makes it too top heavy. I don't trust it. I don't like the ball bearing on the top. If you aren't careful and you let go of the camera before tightening the screw, the weight of the camera makes it crash forward. I also am not sure if it was a returned item because it was missing a mounting screw. I didn't need it, so I didn't bother taking it back. This would probably be fine for a cell phone or a really small pocket camera. I have a Sony A6000, not a big camera and It just seems too heavy. The arms are too difficult to position. I know you don't want them flopping around and not be stable, but it takes so long to set the stupid thing up that the shot is lost. Oh and the way the clip screws into the camera, the level on it ends up being in the front of the camera so I can't see it. There is no way to adjust it. Maybe if I play with it more I will change my mind, but if I break a $1500 camera set up, I'll be ticked (fill in stronger language). On second thought I think I'll return it.

I am an armature photg, this was very helpful to me to take few shots where i can use my regular tripod. Clings on to anything and very light weight to carry. Only thing is that you have spend some time to straighten the legs for me to put it back in my bag after use. Other than that very handy, stable and very easy to use.

This tripod is very light and seems kinda fragile. At first I wasn't sure if it would hold up my DSLR, being that it feels like it's made of cheap plastic, but this thing handles the weight like a champ. It's great for an on the go tripod and you can mount this thing almost anywhere.
