This product is easy to use and well made. It is adjustable to fit different size phones and can be placed on a tripod for distant selfies if needed. (tripod is sold separately) You can also adjust the angle you use for filming.

I bought this to attach my IphoneX to a tripod for shooting my youtube channel videos, so therefore, it will fit on any 1/4 screw mount Tripod,Stand,Gimbal Very well built , super solid , this Smartphone Holder is the best on the market now, i know it will fit the Apple IphoneX perfectly, with the case on the phone.... JUST PLEASE check the exact specifications on sizing to make sure your phone is supported. 10/10

The Joby TightGrip PRO is definitely a smartphone grip for anyone who uses their device to shoot pictures, vlog, etc. The fact that it’s made of metal and not from cheap plastic and cheap springs makes the few added dollars worth it. Since using it, I’ve not once worried about my phone coming out. Even better, you can maneuver the unit in different angles without doing anything crazy with your hand or tripod. I’m seriously considering buying a second one just as a backup.

This is a nice holder. I have a Samsung S24 Ultra which is a very large phone and it actually holds it and it mounted to my tri-pod ive had over 10 years with no problem. So far so great!

With my phone clamped in my Joby media handle i dropped it on concrete from about waist hight while bending over to pick something up off the ground. It landed phone first on a CORNER and stayed clamped in! 5 stars, would recommend, already bought another one for a different Joby mount!

Just received this item. The product itself seems solid and well built. Be aware, the product photos are misleading - This only includes the top mount, not the bottom half with the swivel-ball mount.

This Joby- Grip Tight Mount PRO holder is excellent for vlogging or video production. It is very sturdy and sleek and I would recommend it for anyone looking for a great product to add to be an accessory to your profession. the Price is a little much just it is definitely worth it.

if you are taking macro shots ,, using this mounted on tripod seems to be the best way to hold the phone steady .. i just canna do it holding it with my hands .. when taken out of the box ,, i could not get the jaws to open to hold the phone ,, and even opening a 2nd new box at the store ,, it was the same thing ,, you need to loosen the knob and use a lot of force to get it to widen it free then it works without any further issue ... it's also the same knob that control the rotating tilt of 90 degrees .. and the 2nd longer knob is only for tilting up and down which is no problem .. the jaws have a soft rubbery nonslip that hold the phone nice and tight ,, that i have lots of confidence that the phone will not slip out .. if it didn't ,, i would not have bought this ..

Depending on the case/cover you have on your phone, this can be a bit awkward. I've made it work because I don't want to keep taking my phone out of the case. It easily attaches to my tripod and is rock solid once secured.

Sweet spot for charging is tricky some times. I have a S9+ and it is a little heavy for the mount. Overall, decent for the price and wireless charging.

This Joby Tripod Mount will hold small-ish phones. Does not tightly grip my Samsung S21 Ultra. I can pull it out of the grip very easily. It's well made though and will work for other ppl most likely.

please note: I have a S10+ with Otterbox Defender Caae, it barely holds my device in place. Recommend: smaller device/no case on smartphone/you can use a heavy duty case if you don't need to access your smartphone screen(as shown in my photos below) Great purchase: if it sold for $9.99

It doesn't work with my old style tripod. I found out that I can use it with my unipod since due to illness I had kept it past the 15 days return time.

I like this product so much I bought a second one. I purchased my first one approximately 4 years ago and it still performs perfectly after constant use. I shoot a lot of time lapse video using my iPhones. This product can quickly and easily mount to any tripod. It will rotate to vertical or landscape. Rubber grips hold the iPhone snug with no worries of it falling out. I can even mount my iPhone in it without removing from my phone case. It quickly adjusts to accommodate the exact size of my phones. It’s a great product.

I needed a phone mount to attach to my tripod so I can make mini videos for my online business. I usually read reviews before buying products like this, but I didn't this time. I just went into Best Buy and purchased it. I have to say that I am happy with the quality of this little gadget. It attaches securely to my tripod, and the phone mechanisms adjust easily and securely to my phone. There are two screws to stabilize the phone, one for up and down angle and one to tighten the phone into the phone grip - Both are made well and secure the phone so I don't have to worry about my phone falling off the mount. The rotation option is great too because I prefer to have my phone in an upright position when making a video. I think that this was a good purchase for me and am very happy with it.

I have used this phone mount with a manfrotto tripod to use my iPhone 11 for video recording. I have never felt the least bit concerned that my phone would fall out. It is very adjustable and very strong. It's not one of those spring-loaded mounts, instead you must loosen and tighten a thumbscrew for each adjustment. It can tilt up and down, and rotate horizontal, vertical or anything in between. The tripod it's mounted to should be able to handle any other movements you need such as left-right rotation.
