I bought this tripod holder and it has given me a lot of peace of mind. The grip is strong, does not scratch the cell phone and fits perfectly to different sizes. The service of the store was excellent. Small accessory but great quality!

I have used this phone mount with a manfrotto tripod to use my iPhone 11 for video recording. I have never felt the least bit concerned that my phone would fall out. It is very adjustable and very strong. It's not one of those spring-loaded mounts, instead you must loosen and tighten a thumbscrew for each adjustment. It can tilt up and down, and rotate horizontal, vertical or anything in between. The tripod it's mounted to should be able to handle any other movements you need such as left-right rotation.

I wanted some sort of simple attachment to my Joby Gorillapod for my new IPhone as a quicker access for filming. The screws are easy to use and adjust the pod, allowing you to film horizontally or vertically. It also secures the phone tight, I made a mistake of not securing it to my gorillapod so it fell off but my phone stayed intact within the mount! (I have a case for my phone too so no damage, and even then, the mount fits an IPhone XS Max with a case!)

I have used several products to hold my phone to shoot video and this is the sturdiest and most secure I have found. The mechanism is a little tight at first but after a couple of uses slides open easily and grips my phone tightly. I video a lot of different things with my phone, but use the Joby mainly for filing basketball practices from a full size tri pod. Even after having basketballs bounced around it for over an hour it holds the phone in a slim case tightly.

I needed something that would hold my phone on a tripod so I could do Facebook Live videos. This worked great for what I needed it to do. The photo that BestBuy has on their site is not what you will get when you purchase this. The photo shows a section on the bottom that swivels and extends the hold higher up. This DOES NOT come with it. I took a look on the manufacturers website and that part costs another $49. You really need that part if you want it to hold your camera in a vertical postion and still clear the tripod head other then that it worked fine.

I love this holder...the one I was using before was not as sturdy and it broke. This is a replacement and is 10x better than what came with my tripod. It is easy to use, sturdy and fits a host of devices. Great price, great product, get one and save yourself a crisis of a broken holder or a dropped device!

I LOVE this holder! I’ve bought several cheap ones and they lasted maybe a couple of live video sessions. This one is durable,holds my phone securely and is easy to use (it honestly took me about 15 minutes initially to figure it out but that’s it, now it’s smooth sailing). This was worth every penny!

This little cell phone holder is very cleverly designed. It is lightweight, functional, ergonomic, and simple to use. I can attach my iphone 7 plus to any tripod or other support device that has a 1/4-20 mounting screw. I can then tilt and rotate the phone for optimal viewing or photo taking without the need for a tripod head.

I purchased this Joby phone mount to do timelapse photography with my iPhone. It is quite easy to secure the phone in the mount and to attach the mount to a tripod. The mount holds my phone very securely and has very nice features. It is easy to rotate and tilt the phone while mounted. It is very well made and easy to use.

Built very well, conforms to just about any application you might need it for. Expands to accept most smartphones. Rotates horizontally and vertically. Might have trouble tilting down passed 90 degrees unless it's mounted to a tripod head that allows it to.

Bought one of these to hold my phone (Galaxy S24 Ultra) on a mic stand to take some impromptu headshots for a local community theatre's playbill, and the stability it provided allowed me to angle my phone just as I needed it to get the pictures I wanted! It feels solid, everything adjusted nicely without too much pressure, and it held nicely.

I play in a band and well todays technology for sound mixing allows each band member to control their own monitor mix with their smart phone. I play drums and well the traditional phone holder usually vibrates loose half way through the show, NOT THIS ONE!! YES!!!! IT stays put and is easy to use! Everyone in my band went and purchased one as well!! LOVE THIS PRODUCT !! Thank you!! Very reasonably priced too!!!

I bought one initially. It does take some strength and jiggling to make it be easily usable and loose, it fits my LG V35 ThinQ, it's stable, secure, so pleased that I ordered my second one for another tripod. Both were set up to record videos and photos of a get-together. I also have a walking stick that serves as a monopod up at the top, and this works on that. The initial jiggling took me some time to figure this out. But once I figured out how it rotates and bites the phone, I was very pleased with it.

It has a firm grip to hold my mobile phone, and also can rotate 90 degrees. Fits to any tripod or similar. Small but very robust in materials, and parts. Very useful and good cost-performance product.

I wanted a Phone Mount to adapt to my DSLR cameras hot shoe. This was perfect to adapt on top. I locks the phone very tight compared to a lot of cheaper flimsy mounts. This also works very good with phone cases as well. I didn't want to risk buying a flimsy mount and drop my phone breaking it. Now I can live stream photo hikes effortlessly and safely. Construction is metal and very solid. Highly recommended

This phone mount works great with my IPhone X. It is easy to use and is stable when mounted to a tri pod. It’s durable and compact and I am fully satisfied.

I used this with my S7 for an emergency wedding when our camera went bad. It is easy to install, easy to adjust and fairly solid. Fits a standard 1/4" thread.

I can be certain when I buy Joby products, I will get a quality item. I have the small gorilla pod and this works fine on it. Like I mentioned, its heavy so keep that in mind when putting it on a small tripod with your phone. The original clamp that came with my gorilla pod was easy to use since you just pull it open, but this is nice if you want to put your phone in portrait mode. Also it takes one screw to be able to rotate and open it, which makes it quick to use, but if you just want to rotate it, you must be aware of your device coming out. Works nice on a full size tripod as well.

I use this on my tripod to hold my phone for live streams. It holds nice and tight and the adjustments allows easy fine tuning of positioning. This is a heavy mount and is very durable. I don't have to worry about tossing it in my bag and finding broken pieces. Well made. One thing to note is that once it's positioned and gripped to the phone, it holds on tight. Unlike the spring action type holders, this one is set by screwing tight with no wiggle room.
