Alright movie

Terrible movie

Great performance by Cage
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review."Joe" represents one of the Nicolas Cage movies you watch when you want to remember that he also sometimes makes movies that aren't horrible dreck. Great performances all around, and a story that's well worth a look.

Gritty, dark and engrossing film
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Although quite dark with some disturbing scenes, I thoroughly enjoyed this movie. Nicholas Cage gives one of his better performances, and Tye Sheridan is one of today's most compelling young actors.
