Great love everything about it music filming all done beautifully

The John Hughes Yearbook Collection gathers together three of the legendary and sadly deceased filmmaker's most celebrated 80's films The Breakfast Club, Sixteen Candles, and Weird Science. All three films had been released on bluray before. The discs of Weird Science and Sixteen Candles are the same as were released a couple or so years ago. The Breakfast Club however got a brand new remastered transfer which is a considerable improvement over the original bluray released a few years back and is dubbed as the 30th Anniversary Edition (and is also available separately for purchase from this collection as well). The new transfer boasts a very noticeable increase in fine detail and also features a warmer and more lifelike feel as a whole. The original bluray had just used an ancient old HD master used for the DVD release so fans will be thrilled to see the film looking better than it ever has. Extras are the same as the first bluray release with the addition of a new trivia track. Sadly Universal didn't see fit to also remaster Weird Science and Sixteen Candles. Not that the existing bluray transfers look bad by any means but there is a lot of room for improvement. Weird Science fares the worst with a transfer that while better than the old DVD still looks not as good as it could. The opening scene looks pretty rough but it does get better as it goes along. Sixteen Candles doesn't suffer from all of the same issues but after you see how amazing The Breakfast Club looks in its new remastered edition, it will have you longing for new transfers for the other two films as well. This is still a great buy for people who don't own any of these 3 fine 80's classics on bluray yet. You get an amazing new transfer for The Breakfast Club along with decent transfers for the other two films that look better than their DVD counterparts. Highly recommended!

I seen these movies when I was kid with my Mom.I just watched Weird Science with my 22 yr old daughter.Still a classic.

John Hughes was one of the best 80 directors great movies and great actors. This three pack was a steal.

I wanted to see these movies because of ready player 1. And among other 80s references.

Dear Mr. Vernon - I don't know how you did it, but you must have broken some rules to make this product possible, Three of the quintessential films of my youth all in one package - it doesn't get much better than that! And now, I can see them as I want to see them - in Blu-Ray format, digital download, and not just in the mazes of my minds memories.

What's to say,? Three John Hughes classic 80's movies, Sixteen Candles, The Breakfast Club, and Weird Science all Blu-ray disc and Hi-def. You also receive a digital copy of all three movies! This is offered at an AMAZINGLY low price! I found it an offer too difficult to refuse and I haven't had any regrets for purchasing it.

Two of the three are 80's classics, and Weird Science is a personal favorite (although critically speaking not as good as the others). Digital copies make this even better. Only wish there were a John Hughes collection that had of of his movies. I assume because of different studios this is impossible, but just hoping.

You can't go wrong with a John Hughes movie. He has made so many classics that could make you laugh out loud. My only complaint would be that there are only 3 movies on here and you can't find a collection of some of his lesser known movies like Currly Sue or Better off Dead.

If you seen these as a kid and thought there were some funny parts then I strongly encourage you to re-watch these as an adult as you will see and understand so much more! If you've never seen these then you truly are missing out on some serious classics!

All of these movies are very good but now they are in one collection and that makes it more fun to watch. Molly Ringwald is in two of them and they are John Hughes movies that make them so much fun to watch he had the knack for teenage movies and these are some of his best.

three movies covering my high school years with varying degree of entertainment. I wish Hughes was present on the Blu Rays . I love all three for different reasons realizing Weird Science is over the top and feeding into boyhood fantasy , I still give it a pass

If you don’t love the 80s, do NOT buy this! IF you do...go and get yours now!!!! These lovable teen flick classics are great to have at home! Sixteen Candles is my fave of the 3!!!

This is the set to own if you grew up in the 80's on John Hughes movies. Breakfast Club is a masterpiece. Sixteen Candles is very funny and Weird Science is awesome just for the retro tech.

I found this set on sale and was surprised at the value of 3 high-quality 80s movies that you get in this bundle. Not only are there really good special features, but to get the disc AND a digital copy is well worth the price.

$25 for three classic John Hughes films (The Breakfast Club, Sixteen Candles, and Weird Science) is probably the best bang for your buck, especially if your looking to watch some all time classic films from the 1980's. Must Buy.

This collection is one of all time greats. If you were an 80's kid, you will love this movie collection of The Breakfast Club, Sixteen Candles, and Weird Science!

What's not to love about these three popular 80's classics? You are getting three John Hughes films that star the several of the Brat Pack members that were at their peak of stardom, and to the movies are fun to boot.

Been wanting to restore my movies digitally and when I saw this bundle for $20 at my local BB, it was a great way to get these 80s classics on digital. And then my neighbours borrowed the discs. Great find and bargain.
