John Kawie's show "Brain Freeze" about his devastating stroke hit home with me. As a survivor I found it funny and very real. As a caregiver my wife (and my kids) found it rang true to many of the situations and emotions we've all been going through. It's a gritty look at what we face every day, and while it's his personal story I found we could all relate to it. Thanks for making us laugh John. I give it a strong thumbs up!

I bought "Brain Freeze" to show as part of the program at our Rehabilitation's Stroke and TBI Conference. The feedback was tremendous. "John's performance was the best part of the conference", "Hysterical", "I watched John, I saw myself", and "I realized I wasn't alone anymore after seeing his show" among many others. Bottom line is we all (clinicians included) loved it and the hope it presents. He's a remarkable man.
