I was so pleasantly surprised by this movie when I first watched it, that I couldn't wait to add it to my collection, especially once I saw this combo pack. The film, itself, presents a fresh, new take on one of the different criminal, underground networks that many believe to exist within society, giving a sense of art and sophistication to the world of assassination that I had not seen previously. It is incredibly well orchestrated, shot, choreographed, and acted, for what is (in its simplest form) a very violent action film. In terms of product, you can never go wrong getting 3 different means to watch an enjoyable film, and, when coupled with a variety of extras to perpetuate the entertainment, it just turned out to be well done all the way around.

The John Wick movies are a not really thrillers, just mostly crazy action movies. This one was the original and broke some new ground.

if you like to see people get beat up, shot, blown-up, John Wick is for you. This UHD version is well done with a good audio mix for 5.1.

Since recently getting a 4K HDR player, I had bought a small handful of movies to watch and try them out on. Being that John Wick is one of my favorite movies and with the sequel quickly coming to home video release, I couldn't resist picking this one up. While anyone who's seen John Wick knows how amazing of a movie it is, the 4K edition adds to the experience with richer color and sound that will blow you away. With all of the gunshots and fight sequences, the sound effects are vastly enhanced and make you feel as though you're in the middle of the club shootout sequence! I was able to pick this one up for $14.99, so if you're new to 4K HDR and looking for some great and fairly inexpensive titles to pick up and add to your collection, this is a must-get.

This is a great movie with non-stop action. It is very violent so not something all viewers would enjoy. I definitely would not recommend you watch this with young children around. From a cinematic perspective, the movie looks great in 4k. It is not a colorful film as most scenes have a grey tone to them. The surround sound has a lot of bass and is pretty good in the shooting scenes. They do not use the overhead (Atmos) speakers often, if at all. It's a fun watch for action movie fans and it will look and sound good on your home theatre.

Gotta admit, didn't think much of this movie when I first heard of it, but hearing so much positive feedback about it piqued my interest. So when I heard Best Buy was releasing SteelBooks for both chapters, I delved in with confidence… and they did not disappoint! What first sounded like a ridiculously hilarious revenge tale ends up being pretty touching and relatable, barreling us into John Wick's legend that has the entire criminal underworld shaking. Very crisp visuals and audio accompany the blu-ray, encased in this well-designed SteelBook (*Minor Spoiler* which I must say would have probably been more fitting for the Chapter 2 SteelBook). Topped off are a generous amount of Special Features that make this total package well worth your purchase.

This was an awesome non-stop, action packed movie from beginning to end. One of the more memorable lines says it all, "John Wick is the guy you send to take out the boogeyman." It is very clear that John Wick does not take any sh#%. Also, I couldn't help but notice a number of cast members from some of the HBO Original Series (i.e. The Wire and Oz) such as Lance Reddick, Clarke Peters, and Dean Winters. Saving the best for last, Keanue Reeves was awesome as John Wick. I was already impressed with his role in "47 Ronin." However, Keanue Reeves gave such a great performance as John Wick that I am already looking forward to a sequel and possibly a prequel (i.e. life before wife). This was such a great movie that "yeah, I'm thinking that Keanue Reeves is back."
