For being so high rated, this movie was just two hours of constant killing. No plot. Sucked.

After a while the over the top action and ridiculous cartoon violence becomes boring.

Full of filthy language and would not watch again or buy the sequel.

With the third film of this series set to hit theaters in two weeks, now is a perfect time to catch up with where this franchise began. Slick visuals, a story that has heart, and over the top action combine to make John Wick a satisfying film worth watching again and again!

4k Ultra HD John Wick... Absolute stunning performance. Super amazing audio treatment. Color clarity off the charts. Great story.

John Wick is grieving and angry, very angry. His wife just passed away. In addition the son of a Russian mobster just broke into his home, beat him up with the help of his gang, stole his car and killed his new puppy that was a gift from his dead wife. John is a retired master assassin for the mob and he was the best in the world at his trade. He is called the Boogeyman in some circles as you never see him coming and you stand no chance to stop him. He is coming after the mobster’s son and nothing can stop him from seeking and getting his revenge. This is a bloody and violent movie and if you like that style of film then this is one you should own. I purchased the BluRay version with the DVD and also a digital HD movie with it. I downloaded a VUDU HDX and I streamed it to my digital projector. Both the HDX digital movie and the BluRay disc had excellent video and audio.

One of my favorite action films. Fast pace, great story, I was hooked the entire time.

A classic throwback revenge movie, that wastes no time but leaves so much to be explored(in a good way). This movie is slick, fun, wild, and tempered and well-paced with never before seen action set pieces not hidden or obscured by stunt doubles and quick cuts. The plot has serious stakes but never feels too serious for its own good and knows when to throw a good joke to just lighten the mood enough to be a roller coaster of a movie The story is simple but effective. A sudden loss triggers an already vulnerable former hit man on a rampage that is emotional and relentless. In anticipation for John Wick's fury, a set of guards, fighters, and other hit men are out to stop John Wick before he exacts his revenge. The world building in this movie is off-the-wall yet oddly sensible, and doesn't pretend it is set in the normal world, per se, but a heightened version of reality with colorful supporting characters and a massive body count by the movie's conclusion. Hopefully, this is the start of a steady franchise to come.

Awesome movie good action can't wait for part 3 to come out

Without a doubt one of the best American action movies in years and easily Keanu's best film since The Matrix. Can't wait to watch it again.

This by far the best Action movie you can buy in "America" that came out in 2014. It is in my opinion the second best action movie of the year as a whole. The action is great, the scenes are shot beautifully, there is none of that awful shakey quick shot stuff where you cant really tell what is going on like in other action movies. This movie will definitely get a cult following in later years.

Okay, a professional killer is the hero in the movie and we cheer for him. Maybe not the best example of who we should look up to. HOWEVER, this movie is awesome. The action scenes, the choreography is all outstanding. Keanu is a very dedicated actor. And despite his character's ex-profession, we cannot help but feel sorry for him and cheer him on his revenge trip.

John Wick is a 2014 action movie featuring Neo from the Matrix acting as the main lead who goes on a rampage after someone breaks in and murders his dog. Nothing comes in the way of this walking, ticking time bomb. It's easily one of the best action films in a long time and it was so worth watching. I'll recommend this to anybody who needs this amazing film.

Great film! Just shockingly entertaining. Admirable attention to detail on the part of the weapons/martial arts consultants. Keanu is an absolute inspiration. The work he put in on this film, at his age, is nothing short of admirable. Very much hope a sequel is in the works. It would have to be based on the return this film earned it's backers.

Solid action flick that they don't really make anymore. I've always liked Keanu and this doesn't disappoint. Grabbed the 4k version when it was on sale as I plan to upgrade to a 4K TV in the very near future. Reviews were positive on the picture quality so this will be one of the first ones I watch when I get my new TV.
