Interesting movie. Violent. One of Keanu Reeves better films.

John Wick rules. I know if someone killed my dog I'd go after them too, but he does it with such style and panache. Great to see Keanu as an action hero a la The Matrix (rather than Speed) again. While the idea that once you're in (the club/faction/cult etc) you can never leave is hackneyed it works here and the ultraviolence is so stylized and smooth that you know its not real....

This is a fun little movie, but it would have been Bette served with a bit more complex of a plot. Keanu reeves does a fantastic job in the role and the scene in the nightclub is one of the coolest and freshes action scenes that I have seen in a while. There just wasn't anything terribly memorable about the entire movie. It had style, but not substance and that lack of substance tends to make it somewhat forgettable. I understand the appeal of making this lto be a throwback and tapping into the nature of seventies style revenge films. However, incorporating present sensibilities of storytelling would be beneficial as well. I really liked the film but I didn't love it and it didn't grab me enough to quickly merit a second viewing. I'm happy to have seen it, though, so I can mildly recommend it. Great style for the film (especially with editing and music), great presence and charisma for Keaneu. It would have been greta to have a better story to tell within this world, however.

The movie is great. The choreography is very tight and you’ll notice more and more nuances with each viewing. The term “gun-fu” is adequate as the action mixes exciting shoot-outs with martial arts and grappling. And who doesn’t like a good revenge flick? If you raised your hand: leave this page. For everyone else it’s a good one for the action section of your collection.

Better than what I expected. Missed it in theaters so got this on sale.

This action-filled movie and the lead character fit Keanu Read's laconic, understated personality accurately. In fact, his quiet determination in the movie underplays the murder and mayhem that is all about him and that which he himself causes. Really good story. Even one of his key motivations for going on the revenge spree, the killing his little dog, seems more than plausible, even though it could have seemed hokie. It wasn't so much the dog itself, it was the fact that his beloved dead wife gave it to him as a final present.

Good movie! Can't go wrong with Keanu Reeves taking revenge.

The long and short of it is...Great Movie! John Wick is a mob hit man who, upon falling in love, quits. 5 years later, his wife dies and to make sure he's not alone she arranges for a dog to be brought to him after her death. Later, some men wanting his car break in and beat him up and kill his dog. When he recovers, he sets out to get the ones who killed his dog. He learns that the leader is the son of his former employer. And the man wanting to protect his son, tries to take care of Wick but he's still as good as he ever was.

I didn't get to see the movie in the theaters, but read and heard awesome reviews from friends and movie critics. After renting the movie, I decided to buy the BLU-Ray/DVD/Digital copy at Best Buy for founder $15.00. If I would have bought the same movie digitally on Itunes or Amazon it would have cost me the same price. I figured I might as well have all three versions for the same price. John Wick is such a great action packed movie with Keanu Reeves. He is back to his 'Matrix' form in this movie. Highly recommended.

Great action-packed movie with an entry into an interesting universe.

While I thought that John Wick was a stunner in normal high def, nothing prepared me for the copious amounts of feng shui I had missed the first time because I had not experienced it in 4k. He kills 12 guys to start, yeah, everyone saw that the first time around, but did you see the stunning flow of his interior design? As he jumps over the aluminum railed staircase onto a Spanish tiled floor to get head shot after head shot, we are now able to see not only is he a man of will but conceptual style

A great movie especially in 4K. Full of action. A must see movie

If you're into a whole lot of action, then this is for you.

One of the surprise movies of last year, this entertaining revenge movie provided excellent character development for a man in pain trying to walk away from his previous life and begin anew. Unfortunately for the bad guys, in this case the Russian mob, they chose the wrong guy to mess with. The action and especially the fight scenes are incredible thru out the movie. Keanu Reeves gives a come back action performance worth watching. Also, a new movie franchise has begun. The Blu-ray AV quality and the supplemental package are excellent.

John wick pretty good movie and bought the movie for a good price

Best action movie I've seen in a long time. Can't remember leaving the theater so satisfied. And to own the blu ray is even better. Sometimes I put this movie in with the intention of watching just the opening 20 minutes and end up watching the whole thing. Keanu's performance is awesome. The dialogue for the entire movie is phenomenal. All the supporting characters truly add to the story. Not one weak link in this film. For the action/vengeance film lover out there, I see no reason not to own this movie.

Fun to watch, for sure not a masterpiece. Decent action movie.
