First movie was a surprise hit and the second took everything learned and kicked it up beyond 10. Reeves has found his groove in this soon to be trilogy and this is a “must buy” for any action movie fan. Imagery and sound in this movie is well done and helps immerse you into the action. 4K and Atmos is done well. Use the club/catacomb scene to showcase your system. What are you doing still reading this? If you don’t already own it buy it now.

This is the movie for you if you're a fan of gun fight scenes.

I bought this movie for my boyfriend as a birthday present

****SPOILER ALERT*** John Wick was a good movie. The only problem I had with the movie was that it had several plot holes: 1) The son seemed to be RICH...why did he have to resort to stealing in order to get a car that he (or at the very least his father) could have bought. Was John's car the only one in the world?!? I doubt it. 2) When they captured John, why didn't they just put a bullet in his head instead of trying to suffocate him?!? Made no sense. 3) Once John escaped and the father of the guy he was trying to kill told him where to find his son, why didn't he just kill the father? 4) Last but not least, at the end why couldn't John easily kill the father who was like twice his age in hand to hand combat? He beat up dudes much younger and better at fighting yet he struggled fighting an old man and literally had to stab himself (John) in order to beat him?!? Made no sense. Other than those few SMH moments the movie was very good.

While disturbing (especially in the exposition), this movie will keep you thrilled and rooting for the protagonist, John Wick. Keanu Reeves gives another solid performance. Look also for Alfie Allen from Game of Thrones and also Willem Dafoe from, well, too many films to list here.

Definitely noticed a difference between the Blu-ray and the 4k.

This movie is all about the action, after a heart felt beginning its practically all non stop instensity. It's Keanu's best roll since the matrix and he fills it so well. This character and this movie have become one of my all time favorites. The comedy in it just rolls off the shoulder, not over bearing but just shows enough of what John Wick is about and the respect this character has without making him godly. If you like action and some revenge violence, i think you will love this movie, I do.

Brief synopsis of the film, no real spoilers here: Hitmans wife gets him a dog after she dies, mob kills dog, hitman goes after mob... Basically he loses his **** when somebody kills his dog, long story made short. Not your typical Keanu robotic acting movie here, but I'm not reviewing the movie, just the 4k UHD part of it. Seen it a few times, looks great in 4k. Crisp and vivid colors, rain part of the movie is just wicked! Well worth the $15 for my first 4k UHD purchase!

A fun movie to watch, much action and plenty of bullets flying

John Wick, the character and movie, take the familiar revenge premise, and gives it a somewhat amusing (to the audience) motivation to get the action going into overdrive. Keanu Reeves plays John Wick, an ex-hitman, who uses his skills to exact revenge on the people that took something dear away from him (you have probably heard what it is, but I am not going to spoil the what or the circumstances here.) Follow him on his journey to find the "justice" only he can deliver.

Good movie to buy. I would Definitely recommend it.

This movie is simple, it's elegant and it's violent. The plot isn't terribly deep and there aren't many emotionally moving bits of dialogue. There's enough story to convey why Keanu Reeves is killing people, then the rest of the movie is all action...... extremely well choreographed, highly entertaining action. Better than Taken, better than The Matrix. You have to go into the true action movie classics to find one better than this. If you are a fan of action movies as I am, buy this and watch it repeatedly.
