This film is a great example of people messing with the wrong guy! I have always been amazed by thugs and bullies who try to mess with strangers only to find out they messed with someone they shouldn't have. John Wick is Keanu Reeves' best character since The Matrix; the action is fantastic, and the co-stars are great. Now that John Wick 2 is out, do yourself a favor and watch (re-watch) this one first, then tune in to John Wick 2. Great stuff!

Keanu Reeves is back! And he plays the retired assassin forced to get bad guys who killed his dog and stole his car. But watch out, he’ll keep on coming after you and annihilating anyone who gets in his way. With stunning action and a lot of bullets resulting with a high body count, John Wick is the ultimate killer.

Keanu Reeves gets a lot of flack for his horrible acting. However his role in John Wick was almost design for him. Never have I rooted for the bad guys to die so heavily. KR intricately weaves elements of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and expert gun work to truly produce unique action. I would be remiss if I didn't admit to wanting an HK P30 after watching him use it throughout the movie. Definitely recommended for all the action Junkies.

Purchased this version of the movie to replace a non-functioning original DVD version, and for the Blu-ray version (better quality). The digital copy was/is a plus too, and ALL at a respectable worth-while price (unlike the typical overcharge at initial release). The movie is great, best of the 3 John Wick flicks, and with a more interesting story. Wick is surely a bad-a.. !

Keanu seems to know what roles fit him because I enjoy most of his movies, from Speed to The Matrix, John Wick is no exception. This is a great action/drama movie with good replay value. WB has released this with exceptional video and audio quality - so the techno club shootout scene will rock your home theater. Highly recommended, especially if you have a good TV setup along with a surround sound system.

I mean come on, it is Keanu Reeves kicking butt and taking names all for the love of a woman, dog, and car. It does not get much more simpler than that. If you are a fan of action, violence, revenge, cars, dogs, John Leguizamo...then this is the movie for you.

EXCELLENT, EXCELLENT - Keanu Reeves's demeanor as John Wick is incredible. His retaliatory action for what was done to him is epic and a reference point to judge other similar type movies of revenge on the bad element type of society. Great to have in both formats of DVD (easier play on a computer with DVD capability) and Blu-ray

I will honestly say I was quite skeptical to watch this film, however I was terribly mistaken....this movie although lacking complexity gives you all the thrills you are looking for. This is high octane film that does not disappoint. I can't recommend this movie enough. If you love gut wrenching action, filled with perfectly executed take downs you will love this film. Definitely a must see, that gives you the same satisfaction after repeat viewings.

Keeanu Reeves nails his performance as an ex-assassin forced back into action for revenge. It is tough to keep up with the body count and there are some great action sequences throughout. It will keep you on the edge of your seat as you root for John Wick. A sequel is coming out soon so pick this up so you know the background of the main character when you see the sequel at the theater, which is not to be missed. What is your best kill scene?

By far one of the best action movies of its year. Short, to the point, great gunplay, excellent (yet simple) premise, Keanu returns to action form in this great movie about a retired hitman getting revenge. The dialogue and exchange between characters are fantastic, the assassin underworld is intriguing, and the action scenes and choreography are brutal without going overboard on the violence. An absolute must-watch for action movie fans.

This is my second copy of john wick as my first was unceremoniously taken from my house by an ungrateful guest. Needless to say I didn't waste any time in purchasing this copy as a house without john wick is a house I don't want to live in. Do yourself a favor and get a copy before you find yourself getting slammed on the street by some local young dirtbags and have to endure the rising tide of "you just got Wick'd" chants.

I love this movie and would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a good action movie to have in your collection. This movie does not disappoint as it jumps right into the action with create choreography. Other action movies cheat by camera movement during action scenes so the actor doesn't have to do them. Not in this case, all moves performed was by him Reeves and you can tell was well practiced. This is a must have !

Having already owned the Blu-ray of John Wick and having recently upgraded my home theater to 4k, I was curious to see the difference between the 2 formats. I thought the Blu-ray looked great until comparing it to the 4k disc. Being a movie that is shot in a dark light, the 4k disc was a major improvement over the blu-ray. Details pop at every corner and shadow detail is amazing! the hdr color is to die for.HIGHLY RECOMMENED!

REEVES IS BACK AND ROLLING HARD AGAIN. THE SHOOTOUTS ARE FIRST RATE. THE FIGHT SCENES ARE WELL CRAFTED AND AUTHENTIC. ALL THE CAST IS FIRST RATE IN MY OPINION. THERE ARE SUM REALLY KOOL VINTAGE MUSCLE CARS IN THIS FINE PIECE OF CINEMATIC ENTERTAINMENT. IT IS A FINE AND VERY STYLISH FILM IN MY OPINION. I REALLY LIKED IT. I REALLY HOPE SOMEDAY THAT THERE'S A WICK 2.

I love this movie emmensely. I bought the BluRay when it was first released. Once I heard they had made a 4K version I thought to myself I will get it once it is on special. Well come to my surprise the price of this movie is well below $20! For a 4K movie that is amazing. Went and bought it. Another surprising fact was no other local store here in two carried it, only Best Buy and Amazon and they were both the same price.

I bought this to test my surround system and was far from disappointed. I love this movie so much and knew nothing about it prior to watching it. Now, I want to watch the series. This movie and a surround system I feel is must, after watching with a complete Bose 700 setup, I don't think i could ever watch it with anything else.

if you like lots of bullets and action then this movie is right up your alley. cant wait to get the sequel on blu ray when it comes out. keanu reeves is at his best in action movies. not alot of great dialogue but the action is worth the buy. street kings is also a good one. check out an old classic - where you can see keanu in one of his first films --- River's Edge...great soundtrack --- not great acting :-D

I had put off watching this because I just wasn't sure it would be that good. Boy was I wrong. The action starts up after a incident that gets your own blood boiling. You want the culprits to get what's coming to them, and they do, and how. Reeves spent months training in multiple martial arts for the part, and it shows. He does all the fight scenes and most of his stunts throughout the movie.

Great price. Great movie of Keanu. But rude customer service woman in the store where I brought it from. She's always seems to be adjutated by the look oN her face and her tone of her voice to me when picking up this movie and I feel like I'm an interruption of her supposed to be "CUSTOMER SERVICE JOB" . So upsetting.

I watched the movie on blu ray and then on 4k Hdr and I can say that the 4k on this movie brightens and greatly enhances color in many scenes. the movie itself is very entertaining and acton packed. Reeves is really one tough customer and the action sequences are great. If you like this type of movie I can highly recommend it on blu ray 4k. Many people say they don't want physical media anymore and opt for downloads, but personally I can see the difference and the disc, especially 4k, are brighter and more colorful. I hope enough people will continue to buy disc over downloads so that the movie companies will continue to make disc - they are better. Otherwise whats the point in 4k if you are going to downmix it to HD.
