The first of the series is usually the best, and John Wick is no exception. This is a great movie for action fans, and the gun play reminds me a bit of John Woo & Chow Yun Fat movies, but more "realistic" in John Wick. Buy this Blu Ray now if you don't have it already!

I've heard really good things about this movie and had my doubts for a long time before making this purchase. Honestly I just thought it was going to be your typically rated R revenge movie, and in a sense it is. But the way the plot was handled, and the minor things that were done for this movie made it one of my favorite Keanu Reeves' film! I thoroughly enjoyed watching this movie it was a great pick

Movie greatness in 4K what else do you need!? Neo is back with a puppy, but the bad guys aren’t the internet anymore , they are grumpy cat people now and are out to irritate dog lovers everywhere and take it out Neo turned John Wick, we know he’s the one! So in the end the cat people got to go down!

This movie won me over after repeat viewings. I love the world that is created for this film. An emotional thrill ride. From heartfelt sorrow to revenge, and than straight into some of the grittiest action sequences I've seen. I had the 1080 but purchased the 4k for the upgrade. It is absolutely worth it.

I initially wrote this one off. A man motivated by the death of his dog? Please. Well I decided to pick this one up as a rental after the high amount of positive reviews. I am so glad I did as I was treated to one of the best action films in the past few years. Reeves plays to his strengths and kicks some serious butt here. If you like all out crazy gun fights and some solid hand to hand combat, check this one out.

Stylized action/violence that kept me on the edge of my seat. The story was more personal than I expected before I got into it making me like it even more. It is heavy on the violence but for this type of movie it was almost necessary. Acting was good and Keanu Reeves gives a great performance. Definitely a rewatchable movie.

This movie was amazing, it was full of action from beginning to finish. I loved him in the Matrix and this is just as great! I watched it in the theaters and knew I just had to buy it when it came out. I'm excited that they are making a john wick 2 . So now I can watch these movies back to back when ever the 2nd one comes out. You will not regret this movie your eyes will be glued to the TV screen!!!

Don't for a second think "-Wait, another Keanu Reeves movie?? 'Naw, I've seen em all"--because you'll be missing out on seeing John Wick go from mourning widower, ex-contract killer for the Russian mob, to killing everyone in his way for righteous vengeance. EXPLOSIONS. WILLEM DAFOE. MAG CHANGES. IAN MCSHANE. SCREAMING V8. JOHN LEGUIZAMO. DEAD MOBSTERS. This flick is an INSTANT FAVORITE and you should BUY IT NOW!

The firearm tactics that they use in this movie are real. They did an excellent of portraying the movements and focus. They story line is great and explains itself. You really need to watch it twice to catch everything. The first time you will miss a few things, because it is fast action. I don't know why this didn't get more attention at the theatre's but it is well worth your time to watch it. A+ in my book.

I saw this when it came out in the theater 3 years ago. Then I recently took my wife to see John Wick 2 for a romantic movie date. To my surprise, she enjoyed the movie and said she would have to see the first one. So when I saw this at Best Buy, I had to get it. Great action movie and afterwards, we watched the special features which was really interesting on how they make a movie like this.

I held out on purchasing John Wick (excellent film) for some time hoping that Best Buy would release a steelbook for it alongside the release of the second John Wick; I'm glad the wait paid off. The steelbook has a glossy finish to it and features some inner print. FYI: Although the back of the bluray lists that you can redeem either an iTunes or a UV copy, the code is only valid for UV.

I my opinion this John Wick is one of the best action movies in the last ten years. The sequels have keep the ride alive. My purchase at BestBuy was a bargain, 7 bucks in the older movie section. It is in Blu-ray with DVD included.

Both discs are pure reference quality for their respective formats. Simple as that. Love the film itself! Best pure action movie of the past 20+ years IMO. Serious action with a lot of gun fu and the hand-to-hand sequences are mostly reslistic. Should be one of your top 5 4K purchases if you're an action fan (even if you enjoy other formats equally). The highest recommendation.

When John Wick came out in the movie theaters I did not pay much attention to it. Later on when it came out on DVD I started to hear people talk about it and how good of a movie it was. Since Mr. Reeves has not really been in anything good since the Matrix I was skeptical. However, after watching this movie I was pleasantly surprised. It is a very good action movie and I am happy with my purchase.

Love John Wick. We bought 1-2-and 3 today and Love the picture and Dolby Atmos sound. Can't believe they have been out for this long and we finally bought them. Best Buy had A GREAT PRICE for all 3 ( less than $27.00 ) for a Blu-Ray, DVD and digital copy all in one.

If you want to learn revenge tres excelente, watch JW. John Wick (Keanu Reeves) is real good in his 50's of coming back to his assassin's job from retirement for a personal vendetta that keeps on going...basically he is trapped in his and others revenge and outright murders for power.

John Wick is one of those movies that you don't see coming. I hadn't heard anything about John Wick before finding it on Blu-Ray. At the recommendation of a friend I gave it a shot (and at a sub $15 price too!), and I was surprised. John Wick is a competent action movie about revenge. While the plot is pretty thin, it's a great movie for just mindless fun. Keannu does well in this; very enjoyable.

I'm not prone to hyperbole, so believe me when I say that I think this is the best modern action movie. The gunplay and martial arts are top notch. There's no fast cuts or shaky camera going on here either. It's pure action from start to finish. Some people criticize the plot line, but I like its simplicity and that it doesn't get in the way of action scene after action scene.

Hands down best action movies I've seen in some time. The overall composition of the film just flows so well! Everything builds on each other in a sort of mix and match convoluted way that in the end makes for a bad a** film. They establish characters very well, enough that you don't have to have heard of seen anything about this movie to know that John Wick is one rad dude.

This movie reminded me of a cross between Equilibrium and Payback with scenes reminiscent of Dark City. This is no Batman Begins, set in a real world with logic behind everything. This is a straight-up revenge comic-book flick. Take it for what it is, and you will find one of the most entertaining movies in a very long time. You can take a man's wife and classic Mustang, but don't touch the dog.
