I LOVE LOVE LOVE John Wick. As an aspiring director, John Wick serves as an example for how action movies can be made with both heart and stylized action. The "making of" bits on the blu-ray such as the stunt coordinators incorporation of "gun-fu" was also an incredibly nice addition.

This film really came out of nowhere and surprised us all. It's a fantastic slow-burn action film that makes you wait for the shootouts and fights, but once it gets there, it is non stop and incredibly exciting. Hopefully between Mad Max: Fury Road and John Wick, we will get back to old fashioned action scenes where there are no quick cuts and the action is visible. Much more reliance on camerawork, choreography, and incredible stunts. Loved this film and having Keanu back on the big screen

Super movie with fantastic story line and character back stories. I just couldn't believe how well written this movie was. And action?! Whoooooweee, there was some exciting action! I've been a big-time fan of Keanu's and to watch his career take an upswing like this just makes my day. You go Keanu!

WOAH, WOAH, WOAH!!!! Where has Keanu Reeves been hiding? Comes out to do one of the best films of all time. Keanu does such a great job, and love watching it whenever it is on, or now, anytime I want! If you love action films, this is the only one needed!

After losing everything, he shows that the past isn't that far from coming back to haunt you. The fighting and the gun fire is action packed. The story and plot were well written in my opinion. Definitely don't mind watching this movie over and over again.

If you are looking for action, look no further! John Wick has it in spades! As a longtime Keanu Reeves fan it was great to see him back in a pure action movie. This ranks right up there besides Speed and The Replacements as some of his best work! Word is a sequel has already been green lit. AAA++

Awesome flick and beautiful in 4K HD. Had just recently purchased an LG OLED and paired it with a PS5. Knew I had to have this in 4K and it does not disappoint.

Definitely a fan of Keanu (Matrix) and what a bad boy John Wick is. Didn't get a chance to see John Wick 2 in theaters so bought both and refreshed my memory starting with chapter 1. An action film lovers must have! Please pick this up in the steelbook if you haven't already.

I greatly enjoy the John Wick character having been a Keanu fan for a long time. The vividness of the filmography is a joy to watch. Not so 'over the top' like a lot of action movies that are getting beyond cartoonish these days. Look forward to the next installment!

This has to be the best film Keanu has starred in since Bill n Teds most excellent adventure. Seriously this movie Rocks! If my friend hadn't gone to the movie with me...I would've missed out on this! If you're a guy that likes intense action....buy this one. It contains both DVD & blu ray discs.

I was a little late to the John Wick hype train but I'm glad I got in. These movies are great action movies that are a don't miss for any action fan. I've watched the trilogy and can't wait for part 4 and 5!

Just as the title of this review states, the first of the sequel is always the best. Of course, not a fan of the dog scene at all, however, the action is AMAZING! I can watch it all day and I did when it arrived!

I blind bought this movie on Black Friday about a year ago, an employee said "great movie" and he was right! I love it! It has a pretty good plot, great action, and a great performance by Keanu Reeves as the title character. I'm so happy they made a steelbook for this movie!

I loved this movie and I love the blu ray. Love the fact that it came with the digital copy option. All discs should come with this option IMO. Add to the fact I used my banked Best Buy Rewards and this disc was a steal! Great video and audio transfer. Can't wait for the sequel!!

When I bought the movie, I didn't know what to expect. But, I was so surprised how much I liked the movie. The action never ends. There are twists and turns. And, you forget that you are rooting for someone who use to be one of the bad guys. A very good movie, well worth buying for any collection.

John Wick is not going to absolutely blow you away with a complex plot. But it will definitely shine in its action scenes. The movie has phenomenal fight choreography and has so much style that the time flies by and you'll want to watch the sequel right away.

Killer movie! One of the best shoot em ups around. Love that it doesn’t put on any false pretenses about being anything other than what it is: a god old fashion , slick, violent action movie. Love it!

This is a rebuy for me. I originally owned the standalone blu ray, however I decided to upgrade to the steelbook. The packaging is the main reason I purchased this, and do not regret the repurchase. Solid film, you will not be disappointed if you like these types of films.

The film takes on the traditional Eastwood styled films, whereas the hero is nearly killed and goes off seeking revenge to right the wrongs. Reeves with his previous Matrix trilogy has garnered the ability to present the stoic front to pull this type of movie off. Ian McShane is wonderfully comedic despite the serious tone of the movie, while Reeves is running around showcasing his "gun-fu" action style. The movie can get slightly predictable with the plot, but at least none of the classic cars are trashed in the movie.
