Excellent movie John wick 2 I just wish Best buy was still selling movies

John Wick is back, and still amazing! This sequel is just as good as the first one and continues the story. Some parts of humor but keeps the theme and premises from the first film. Great cast and story line in chapter 2 as well. Definitely a movie to be added to your collection.

John Wick wasn't designed for a sequel. It began with someone killing John Wick's dog, and ended with the vengeance-bent uber-assassin stealing a new best friend from an animal shelter, after dropping 76 dead bodies along the way. The movie succeeded not on the strength of its story, but on the elegance of its action, and while it reaches at times to justify its own existence, John Wick: Chapter 2 boasts a reunion with Matrix co-star Laurence Fishburne and two major improvements on the original: First, no animals were harmed in the making of the film. And secondly, the human body count is significantly higher. If the latter detail offends your humanistic sensibilities, then this isn't the franchise for you. Even for Grand Theft Auto junkies and those at the other end of the spectrum, it can actually get tiresome watching Wick eliminate a seemingly inexhaustible stream of henchmen at times. But there's a quality to the violence here that elevates it above the literal and reprehensible nihilism of movies and instead achieves something more akin to dance. John Wick: Chapter 2 pits Keanu Reeves' titular character against the mean and nefarious of the criminal underworld. Once again, Reeves proves that he is a force to be reckoned with in this ridiculous, over-the-top sequel that is every bit as fun as the original. These types of films are rarely known for their artistic value but sets the bar pretty high, not only in its action, but in it's set design and camera work. This is pure escapist entertainment and is exactly what you're looking for. The look and feel of the film is very much in line with the first. It has beautiful, vibrant colors that compliment the violence and chaos. The sound is absolutely amazing with each gun sounding the way they should instead of using the stock machine gun or pistol sound which is something the original was guilty of at times. The performances are incredible and the direction of the action sequences is beyond impressive. This is a bigger John Wick and one that does a nice job at expanding on his world. The only issue that the film may have depends on your taste in action films. This is considerably longer than the original but it moves so fluidly and frenetic that it barely feels like it. Overall, John Wick: Chapter 2 is a very good sequel. It has everything a sequel should have and doesn't disappoint. If you loved the first one then you're going to love this one.

I am a John Wick fan and love Keanu Reeves in this role. From the first storyline to this one has not disappointed me. I love the trilogy so much I purchased both to be able to watch over and over. Should purchase this before three comes out and watch. Highly recommend this purchase.

I never knew a person could shoot up so many people and be as cool and calm as John Wick was. Move over Bond, Rambo, A Man called Flint, and Billy the Kid. I would not want to be in John's sights and on the opposite end of his gun. Never said Dang as much in a movie. I'm just saying.

I recently purchased this movie after watching the first John Wick movie and it was awesome! Lots of action and story plot is excellent. Can't wait for John Wick 3. Also, it helps to see the first movie before the second one to understand the chain of events completely.

This is an incredible follow-up to the original film. If you like slick visuals and non-stop action, you should definitely check out the John Wick series. Unlike the first John Wick on UHD, this disc uses an upscaled transfer for the video, but it still looks stunning.

Cant go wrong with this sequel. The action and the story gets better each time. Highly recommend it for anyone who loves action

Great movie, great price, great steelbook! Worth the buy

The Second installment was full of many fight scenes much like the first. Many I thought to be far fetched and very repetitive that I gave it 4 stars. I sometimes feel like I’m watching an alternate Matrix story line. Is it real???? You have to watch this series as if he is some kind of super hero that won’t die. He seems unaffected by any type of pain . Entertaining at times. Needed to progress the story line. It’s ok.

If you liked the first John Wick movie, you must see this one. While it is certainly as bloody and violent as ever, just the ultra-smooth moves displayed by Keanu as he proceeds to shoot and clobber his way through his multiple enemies is a sight to behold.

Excellent 4k transfer of a great action film,great price too!

This trilogy is not for youngsters. It’s very violent but very entertaining for mature audiences. I watched all three with my 17 year old son. We enjoyed them and they got progressively more violent and at the same time more entertaining. Enjoy.

It’s going to be hard to top the first overall, but I definitely think this was rapid pace with more action and just as enjoyable. This movie definitely suggests a third outing and has a bit of a cliff hanger, so get excited for more Keanu
