This review has nothing to do with the quality of the bluray, which is fine, but with the movie itself. Was not a huge fan of the first one, but given the reviews for this sequel I figured I'd roll the dice. Should have known better, as the first also received lots of praise. This sequel was even worse than the first. Childish screenplay that tries and fails miserably to be ultra cool, boring roster of forgettable villains - in fact for a movie with such frequent and frenetic action, its astounding how boring it is. And let me preface this last bit by saying that I love many violent movies, and have seen pretty much any grotesque horror film you can think of - but I find the violence/gunplay in this film to be straight up irresponsible and reprehensible. There is absolutely no morality to this movie, and no consequences. When the inevitable John Wick 3 makes its may to theaters, I won't be fooled again.

The 1st John Wick is a fun if quickly forgettable slice of action cinema, filled with Gun-Kata-eque gunfight sequences and visceral, practical stunts. By the time the credits roll, it just about overstays its welcome. Within the first 10 minutes of the sequel, you kind of wished they stopped with 1. Boring, repetitive, and protracted action sequences are the tapestry from which a thinly written plot is hung, where John Wick is ostensibly blackmailed into killing someone, or else, or something. Several double-crosses (and silly action sequences later), we arrive at a finale that's managed to not only jump the shark, but a row of schoolbuses along with it. Only recommended for fans of mindless action.

Parts of the movie lost color and visibility, had to reset all hardware a few times to get it to play through, it was new first time use right out of the box and wrapping.

The first John Wick (one of my all-time favorite movies) existed in its own universe but was somewhat believable, the 2nd one was a full-on parody of the first one where all the characters were stone cold assassins (even the homeless, garbage men and street artists) and when 'Morpheus' showed up I just groaned. Everyone badly overacting trying to milk every last drop of cheese out of their moments... even the extras in the background. It was a cartoon... how many times can you get hit by a car and still keep walking, etc?

Ordered the batman trilogy in 4k and all the cases were cracked or broken. Batman begins and the dark knight came with digital codes. The dark knight rises didnt so that was disappointing. Same with John wick 1 and 2 cases.

Not my cup of tea. Bought because liked the first movie. this was way over the top and the fight/ shoot out sequence was way to unbelievable (I know they all are- but this went on forever and became even mor far fetched!). was ready to walk away. Waited for it to end-sorry keanu

Packaged ok, but steelbook still came with dents. This is not the first time and I would not recommend buying steelbooks online and having them shipped.

I really like Keanu’s movies but this was just over the top. How many guys did he shoot? 200? And how many time was he beat up, thrown down stairs, etc? It was just too much gratuitous violence.

The boogeyman is probably going to get me but this next chapter was boring. The first one gave you something to believe the second was a regurgitation without a proper set up. Oh, next time you go anywhere, EVERYONE around you is a highly skilled assassin. LOL!

Really excited to see this movie in 4k but my Xbox One S didn't recognize the disc. Don't know if it's a bad disc or Microsoft needs to push an update. The Blu Ray does play but I haven't gotten to it yet. Review is low because of 4k not playing.

my opinion is not as good as original,,the story line is so thin it is almost nonexistent ,, lots of fight, and car crash scenes but not alot of substance except at the very end, had high expectations but was left down

John Wick is such an awesome movie that I felt I had to pick up JW2. Big mistake, turns out they ran out of material and played this one out more like a comic than an action thriller.

See my review of the first in this series of films. I wanted to love it, but it still suffered from the same limitations of the first one. It was like watching someone else play a video game.

Kind of disappointed in JW2 not as good as the first movie and I know JW3 is coming out I just hope it's better than this one.

The show was well acted, the plot predictable. But I like the characters. There was just too much killing that detracted from the quality of the movie.

I am disappointed that this is not as good as the first one. I think the director introduced a lot of unnecessarily long fighting scene.

Never seen someone so full of vengeance. I think this movie has more gunshots than any movie I have seen in a long time.

Every other dvd I have purchased will play on my computer, but this one will not. I even exchanged it just to make sure.

Loved the first movie and was really looking forward to this one. Was "ok", but didn't come close to the first one

Why does everyone cheap out on the packaging? This movie is incredible, and the presentation on the shelf is awful.
