These are the kinda steelbooks I like to see at Best Buy. It's a limited edition steelbook which I have seen on sale. Normally those limited edition steelbooks sell out before then. Perhaps it's because this one contains all the chapters. The single editions are pretty nice too. I kinda like the cover on all the editions. I may have gone with the pop art one with Chapters 1 & 2 and the single one with chapter 3. I didn't because chapter 3 is rather expensive on eBay. At the time of this review the pop art one is still for sale on Best Buy. This one is great too and it has all three chapters. So if you see it on sale don't hesitate to pick this one up.

Haven`t had a chance to watch the three movies yet but I thought it was a fair price for three 4K ultra HD movies. On sale for 39.99 and I had $10 in reward points. Can`t wait to watch them.

I love these movies and was very excited to see all three together as a set. The packaging is beautiful, but unfortunately, I’m not tech savvy enough to know that 4K ultra blu-rays don’t work in blu-ray players. I just saw “blue-ray” and figured everything would be fine. So, I recommend the franchise, the steel book is lovely, make sure you have the right kind of player. Side note, when will a regular Blu-ray box set be available???

The John Wick films themselves are fantastic action flicks. The steelbook itself is gorgeous which may be a reason to pick this up if you like collecting steelbooks. The addition of a protector is recommended to keep it from getting scratched. The only reason I can't quite give this 5 stars is because Lionsgate for some reason has stuck with the "Lionsgate app" to redeem the third film. It's an added unnecessary step compared to just entering the code for the first two films and then being able to go to Vudu or Movies Anywhere, etc. If you already own John Wick 1-3? Is this set going to replace the films you already own? Probably not. The Blu-rays you have will still look just fine. You will get better resolution from the 4k presentation. But it's not an 'essential' upgrade over the blu-ray if that's all you own. It is however a heck of a good time if you have never seen John Wick. Inevitably there will be a 4th film so that may factor in whether you decide to pick this up or not or wait for the inevitable re-release compilation.

These movies are amazing! Many trilogies go down in quality in the second or third film, but all three of these films are fantastic. The video and audio quality on these films are also top notch. If you want to test a new home theater system these are great films to do it with, because they really went all out on the audio. You'll really appreciate it if you have a high-end theater than can utilize dolby atmos.
