My class (I teach) has been reading the Jules Verne “Journey to the Center of the Earth” book, and we will watch this as a class as a finale. While it’s a fine movie, it’s not based on the book other than mentioning it. Would have liked it to parallel the book so my kids could relate their readings more.

I ordered this DVD Journey To The Center Of The Earth and Journey 2 because it was described as a TWO disc set, NOT! Both movies are on one disc. Best Buy needs to change the information so people know it's two movies on one disc, and not a two disc set.

My grandson caught a portion of this movie on cable tv. I saw how intrigued he was, so I surprised him by ordering the movie. He LOVES it! He's an action kind of kid at 6 1/2, but if he can't swim or play outside, he loves action movies. He enjoyed the 2nd movie too! Great find!

I really liked the first movie but, as sequels sometimes go, I didn't expect much from the second. I was surprised that I actually enjoyed both movies. Got a great price on this DVD and both movies are a lot of fun!

My family loved these movies. I also bought some portable DVD players from Best Buy to play these movies and my kids enjoyed them. Kept them quite while on our 30 plus driving hours through the Southwest.

This movie is an awesome choice for family movie night. There are funny parts and sad parts. Mainly funny. Part 2 I think is even better. Dwayne Johnson is a wonderful actor. Lots of action

I am enjoying watching this again. I saw it years ago but like it better now. Anyone who has seen the original Journey to the Center of the Earth will like it, too.

Movie was purchased for grandchildren for travelling in the car. This the second DVD purchased of this movie. Grandchildren think it is great.

the remake is really fun to watch Brandon. I gave it to m y daughter in colledge for some down time so she could enjoy a few laughs while studying so hard at the dorm.

when i saw this at the store on sale i grab it right away, i know is a goofy kind but is entertaining who doesn't like Brendan or the Rock??

These 2 movies are a steal for the price! My 6 year old and I really enjoyed them both. They offered hours of enjoyment without breaking the bank. Definitely 2 thumbs up!

I got this for my kiddos for Christmas! Looking forward to watching with them for family movie night.

Enjoy the fantasy element and the way the basic story line always goes back to interrelationships. Good story lines my kids love both movies

This movie is GREAT!! It has really cool affects, and Brendan Fraser does a really good job! I have watched it a bunch of times, and it never gets old!

My daughter loves the Journey 2 movie, it is entertaining and funny for the whole family. Can't beet the price either.

My grandchildren loved this movie. Very colourful, action filled, imagination provocation, exciting and good natured. I recommend it highly!

These movies are worth the total cost I paid; $3.99. They aren't blockbuster's, but good for weekend watching.

I thought the first journey to the center of the earth was way better then the second one. My kids love both!

No they aren't the best movies these actors ever did, but they are still fun to watch with the kids.
