Wish they kept the same actors from rhe last one. First one is great.

If you are a fan of Stephen Chow's 'Journey to the West: Conquering the Demons', then you will likely enjoy this sequel. This time around though, Stephen Chow is not the director, but is only involved in the writing. This retains some of his humor in the writing, but overall it is not as consistently funny as the films directed by Stephen Chow. For fans of Stephen Chow movies, or movies of this genre.

Funny , fun and crazy is like kung fu hustler movie .is the same director from kung fu hustler but chow is a genius love his movies .must watch if u are into chow movies

I thought it was a pretty good movie, and it had a lot of funny moments. Monkey was my favorite character. Even though they didn't stick to the book, I still enjoyed it, and thought it was a funny version of it. Can't wait for the next part.

Journey to the West 2 is a very fun action adventure with nice speciall effects and brilliant fight scenes. It is a bit goofy at points, and I wish it retained the cast from its previous film, but these are minor issues to a great film

Got to watch the first again. See where it leads to this sequel. See if the cast was the same. I'm sure another story continues in the sequel. Picked up part 2 at best buy.

Best Buy has a pretty good selection of DVD's, and this was one that my brother wanted to own... No complaints from me (or him)...

Never disappointed with Stephen Chow's film. This film is filled with impressive abstract effects, actions and feeble laughs.

The movie was fun to watch. Definitely need to watch the first movie in order to follow the storyline of this one.

So much going on throughout the film. Awesome CGI, picture clarity, and audio. Enjoyed it every bit!

A sequel to Stephen Chow's Journey to the West. This film he only produced and didn't direct, which does show. Still, the crazy effects, characters and story you love from the first are still here. Chow though is just a master director that no one matches his style.

Teaming up director Tsui Hark and writer/producer Stephen Chow for this second Journey West is a gift from action movie heaven. This Chinese fantasy-adventure-comedy film, buries all western world action films in its dust!

This movie was not a disappointment when I bought it. The comedy and the plot was both on point. The special effects were pretty good and the cinematography was amazing.

This movie was ok if you like fantasy based martial arts. I actually preferred Sword Saint to this one. Do not watch this if you're into great acting

i love all the monkey king type movies.....i got this in 2d,,, watched it, and liked the action & plot... i was able to buy it again but in 3d too

Bought it as a gift and the sequel wasn't half bad for this type of movie - Far East Asian martial arts meets mythical arts.
