Unlike the Joy Con straps that came with the Switch system, these wheels for the Joy Cons have giant comfortable should buttons. On top of that, the wheel I found was fun to use with motion controls, a feature I rarely use nowadays. There's unfortunately one small problem. While you can see your actions work on the screen when using the shoulder buttons, when you actually press the button, it doesn't feel completely like you pressed the button. There's no clicky-ness to the feel, unlike when using the straps which seem to have a better press to them. It's entirely possible to get used to the feel of the wheel's shoulder buttons, but you may end up doing a quick mod like Nintendo Life did and showed in their YouTube video: How to Fix the Problem with Joy-Con Steering Wheels for Nintendo Switch | Mario Kart 8 Deluxe

For a few bucks this adds to the fun of racing games. Switch controls are small and while games work without it, it was worth buying.

My friends love using the wheel even if it's a little smaller than the Wii version. They are easy to snap in and out and make Mario Kart much more fun. For the money, they're a great investment.

These controller wheel mounts are much smaller than the Wii / WiiU version so keep that in mind. The Switch side controllers are also much smaller so that may be the limiting factor. I love using these while playing Mario Kart. It's a must have for people who enjoy racing.

These aren’t really necessary, but it’s fun 2 use these when playing Mario Kart 8. I’m a bit used to the ones for the wii, because they were bigger, but these are still great. I recommend them.

Switch controllers are too small. Picked this up for my kids and Mario Kart just became so much easier.

It makes racing games on the switch much much easier decent price

We bought the Switch as a gift for our 5 year old to play with and he loves playing the Mario game. So we had to get him Mario Kart, these controllers are great as he gets to pretend to drive instead of just moving the controller. And there were the cheaper ones out there but we decided to go with the Nintendo brand as aftermarket brands arent the same, even though these wheel controllers dont really do much but hold the Switch.

Makes the racing games a lot easier and more fun to play with.

We bought these to go with Mario Kart. They arent anything special just preferred the Nintendo brand over the aftermarket controllers. They are great to have young kids use as they really get into using the steering wheel as they play the game. again they arent anything special and were a good price.

I've recently submitted a review for "Mario Kart 8," which I recommended as the second best title within the Switch's current library, but I have to admit that I wouldn't be enjoying that title nearly as much without the use of this peripheral. Both my wife and my daughter -- just two-and-a-half -- have enjoyed playing alongside me in multiplayer races using these little wheels, though don't mistake that as implication that trophies and other "hardcore" solo achievements can't be pursued easily while using them as well. If you enjoy motion controls and/or have little ones who might like to join you, then these attachments offer incredible value for a nominal cost.

I've played Mario Kart with and without these. Not required, but makes the game feel a little more special and a little easier to control. They are smaller than I imagined, but that's a plus for storage

My son loves the new Nintendo switch and wanted the wheel to complete it, these are 2 wheels and he is using them with his new system, he likes them and is happy I purchased these for him.

In the same way the wheel/controller holders worked on the origunal Wii, theses do the same. While not necessary to play, they do lend that feeling of realism. Kids love them.

I found the price to be too good to be true. When I got them, I was surprised by how small they seemed but they were also extremely well constructed. Though they're smaller than I'd expected, they work very well and are the least bit cumbersome. I know of tweaks that can be done to the wheels such as extending their buttons internally for better contact but found this sort of thing to be completely unnecessary. They were perfect!

Boy, these wheels are small and you get 2 in a pack. The small wheels coincide with how small the joycons are. I read reports with how difficult/unresponsive the shoulder buttons are on the wheel, but I never experienced this. It is strange you can still use the joystick to control the karts while using this wheel accessory. However. no matter which style you are comfortable with, these wheels are worth adding to the experience provided by Mario Kart 8.

Feels great, easy to hold for people of all ages. Gives u a feeling of driving while playing

The cool joy-con wheel really gives your driving games such as Super Mario Cart a more fun and interactive experience! I much prefer using the wheel when playing the driving games!

Great for Mario Cart but feel very small in my hands. They are much smaller than those of the past...may be great for children but as a grown man they are difficult to use

Got this on sale for my little nephew, we ended up playing this for christmas and it's an awesome device for the game. He loves it so thats what matters.
