THIS MOVIE WAS/IS/ALWAYS WILL BE A PROTOTYPICAL 90s ACTION FLICK. I LOVED IT THEN, I LOVED IT ON RERUN ON TNT AND TBS, AND I WILL ALWAYS LOVE IT. IT MAY NOT BE LOYAL AT ALL TO THE ORIGINAL BRITISH COMIC SERIES, BUT I STILL LOVE IT. ....CAN YOU TELL THAT I LOVE THIS MOVIE :-P LOL. IDK WHAT ELSE TO SAY. GIVE IT A CHANCE. I THINK YOU'LL LIKE IT IF YOU LIKE ANY OF THE 80s/90s STALLONE/SCHWARZENEGGER FILMS.

I bought both Judge Dredd and Demolition Man at the same time. Both are very fun movies to watch. The plots of both movies are so similar, you might confuse them for each other. Anyways Judge Dredd is definitely a fun film to watch, however they could have made this movie without Rob Sneider. I feel that Rob Sneider is the only downside to this movie, but it's still enjoyable for a Stallone movie.

In a time when all-powerful and coldly efficient "Judges" act with the supreme authority of both the police force and legal system, Judge Dredd is the most feared law enforcer of them all. But when a former judge hatches a sinister plot to overthrow the government and eliminate the Judges, Dredd is framed for murder!

The Movie is about one Judge -- the baddest and most feared/respected of them all (Judge Joseph Dredd). The movie adaptation follows the formula for many action movies of this time. Rob Schneider plays comic relif (small time thief who happens to be in the wrong time) throughout the movie. Diane Lane is the young new Judgette (sp?) and love interest of Stallone (no romance in the movie though just a bit of URST). Diane is as always lovely and such a wonderful acress. Stallone plays the cold idealistic Ethical Super Judge Dredd. Armand Assante plays a wonderful villain with a very cool bad Robot bodyguard. Max von Sydow and Jürgen Prochnow also play some wonderful supporting characters who deliver some wonderful performances. The acting is first rate and I can say that only Stallone could have played this role -- almost as if it was written for him.

Well made, decently acted adaptation of the English comic book. While the newer version is far superior, this film is still entertaining and contains some amazing mid 90's matte paintings. Stallone does his best, and the supporting cast holds their own.

Stallone is awesome! Pretty cool movie from beginning to the end, plenty of action.

forgot about this version, the remake may have the effects edge but this tale is awesome even without the cg input and stallone always delivers in his own way

If you like Sylvester Stallone, you will love this movie. Set in the future Stallone is a Judge and jury to criminals, until he gets framed and becomes one. Now he must survive to clear his name and get justice.

Some of the costumes and stuff look cheesy, but the action is solid. The remake is admittedly better but if you like Stallone this is worth a look.

One of the most underrated movies of the 90’s, in my opinion. Think I found this for $5.99!!! It’s awesome when you find all these great movies at such an affordable price. Keeps me shopping here!

Stallone was good in this. Played the tough guy part very well. This movie was good back in the day. Takes a lot of unexpected turns in it.

One of my favorites and I’m glad to have it on blu ray. Rob Schneider is great in it and the price is nice. you be the judge for yourself.

I've loved this movies since I was younger while the karl Urban remake is probably a stronger film this movie will always be the best to me.

Judge Dredd Bluray Is everything you expect, the movie in HD. Getting it for the price of $5.99 is the best part of it as that’s a steal!
