Saw both of the albums, Alpha and Omega, in my local Best Buy on a sale and just had to pick them up. I really enjoyed the both and any fan of theirs should pick them up! The Copy I got came with the Bonus DVD, I wish they were able to get the music video for Alpha on it because it's an amazing track. There is also a sticker of the cover art inside the case.

    Challenging progressive metal

This is one of a two-part release by this progressive-metal trio. It's still hard to believe that such a full sound is coming from only three guys. But they're all more than proficient on their instruments and that makes much of this possible. Though I'm not a fan of some of the screaming vocals, there are the usual odd-time signatures, atmospheric passages and heavy-metal dynamics, that I do like to hear, and they are still in abundance here. Simply put, if you like challenging progressive metal, this CD will not disappoint. The bonus DVD documentary is also a big plus.

I really like these alpha/omega cd's. Nothing really jumped out at me at first but I just wanted to keep listening to them everyday. Periphery has turned into one of my favorite "recent" bands and I look forward to their releases. I recommend these cd's. Give them multiple listens and just let the songs seep into your subconscious. Maybe not everyone loves the proggier route periphery has been on, but I think it's great. Check them out.

This is the 2nd half of their Juggernaut double album. This and the other album ALPHA are not quite as crazy or technical as their other stuff, but they are still good. The song "Priestess" is unlike any Periphery song I've ever heard. It has a real chill vibe. Periphery continues to release solid music. I can see why they're developing such a following.

This is the companion to Alpha and is the heavier half. Still progressive but also more aggressive. Good stuff. Same great Periphery.

This album is half of Periphery's finest! Some very talented guys out of DC, minus their bassist. They mature with every album and they definitely raised the bar for themselves!

Brings the old progressive metal sound like that from dream theater and meshuggah, mixed with their own flavor. Truly epic music.

Periphery ascended to a new level of metal mastery with this double release. These albums will easily be the best of 2015

Periphery is a band I've only recently started listening to, but their music is good...this second part of the album is just short. I purchased both parts of the Juggernaut album, wish they had a package together for a lower price. If you are a huge periphery fan, I'd say pick it up, otherwise go for Alpha!
