The gang is back but the game has changed. As they return to Jumanji to rescue one of their own, they discover that nothing is as they expect. The players will have to brave parts unknown and unexplored, from the arid deserts to the snowy mountains, in order to escape the world's most dangerous game. With The Rock (as Danny DeVito) and Kevin Hart (as Danny Glover) bouncing off of each other, this film is so much different from the previous installment that it is not boring at all. I thought it was really funny and as good as the last (Welcome To The Jungle). The ending also leaves room for the possibility of another sequel. Don't miss it.

Jumanji: The Next Level (JTNL) continues several months (I believe it is 10) after the end of the first reboot of Jumanji. This time things have a slight twist as some characters find their personalities in different bodies then the first movie, where they were able to choose a character. This adds great amusement to the fun, as does the addition of some new, unintentional, gamers. There are surprises and laughs, serious and touching moments and tackling of some of life's most difficult problems (death, broken friendships and love). If you loved the first two (Robin Williams version and the remake), you will love JTNL as well.

I have always loved “The Rock”..own pretty much all his movies...then you put him with Jack Black and Kevin Hart...it is such a great comedy team and Karen Gillan is a perfect 4th...the casting of the “real” versions are great actors as well and it’s believable that the game players are them stuck in the game...it’s done so good..the first Jumanji REALLY made me laugh his one did too but not as much..I did like the change up of the characters because Danny Devito (Spencer’s grandfather) and Danny Glover his friend are a great addition to this one.

Superb acting throughout! It is hard to equal an original due to the uniqueness which made that version a hit, however this one expounds on the qualities of the first and hits a homer...D'oh! The first showed some good acting as the avatars had to imitate their original characters, but this one takes that acting to an entirely new level, multiple times. It is fascinating to watch the actors facilitating each others mannerisms & ticks as the characters constantly change. To top the acting off, it is Funny! Jack Black deserves an Oscar; he is fantastic!

I truly enjoyed the Robin Williams Jumanji, well made for it's time. As the years go by and someone thinks let's do a remake of the film, there are times that doing this misses the bullseye. How ever another hit movie remake. Then a second part comes out, yes again there are those times that it doesn't compare to the first. Although this time I feel that the second part of Jumanji was a true hit, better than the first (remake), a great job and well done. Since I have told many people of this back to the jungle.

I recently bought a 4K Blu Ray player and bought this on sale to try out the player. The movie was fun - adding the "old guys" was a nice twist. All that said, it was not as good as the first IMO. While there were some nice new gimmicks, the flow was not nearly as smooth and the wrap up a bit too pat. Jack Black continues to amaze and rest of cast is good - but overall just not as good. As to 4K, I'd be hard pressed to see much difference between it and blu ray discs - I won't be replacing any of my collection (I did do that with several standard DVDs when blu rays became available, Future purchases will probably be 4K, but if price difference is significant, I'd not hesitate to buy blu ray.

I absolutely loved the first instalment and to a large extent those that enjoyed the first will enjoy this it's still entertaining fast paced and humerous. The only thing I found was rather than laughing out loud and being on the edge of my seat like the first I had the occasional chuckle sat back. Having said that laughing out loud or not I was never bored and still had a smile on my face for the majority of the film. A decent sequel exiting at in interesting point for a potential 3rd movie.

My son was very excited about the Blu-ray release of Jumanji, The Next Level. I was very reluctant to take him into a store to buy it - we were/are social-distancing - I pre-ordered the video and it arrived in the afternoon of the release date! Fantastic! Not all stores get pre-orders to you on the release date. Most send it out on the release date, and then we wait while everyone else is enjoying it. Thank you Best Buy for making my son's day (and making my life a little easier).

This second installment of Jumanji is just as enjoyable as the first movie, but it could have been SO much better had they chosen to release it to home video in 3D. The movie was framed with 3D in mind, and while the 4K UHD presentation looks amazing, I miss being able to relive the full 3D theatrical experience. Details, color, and shadow levels are top notch. Dolby Atmos audio is active through all channels, placing the viewers solidly in the center of the action.

I was a fan of the original story with Robin Williams but was skeptical about the reboot. The first one was great very entertaining and this one is just as good or better! The Rock is always very entertaining but Danny Devito is the surprise here. So funny watching the Rock do Danny Devito's grandpa in the game! Hilarious! Jack Black also always his funny self. Karen Gillan should be a bigger star by now! Definitely can recommend this.

Oh goodness, where to start. The original cast is back not to mention the new characters Danny Devito and Danny Glover. They just added even better comedy! They are true legends, not to forget I love to watch Dwayne Johnson doing comedies. So much laughter with the entire family. 4k discs are the future and if you happen to own a 4k tv and player, the pictures are intense in this film. Better and better with these movies. We give it 5 stars and 8 thumbs up!!!!

I love Jumanji! I loved the original with the amazing Robin Williams, I loved Back to the Jungle with Dwayne Johnson and crew. (Who doesn't love the Rock!??!) and I loved The Next Level. This one is a little different though - great script, wonderful acting and Dwayne Johnson. But it was different - a little more serious and funnier by turns. Get this one. Sit down with a bucket of popcorn and enjoy. And think on this - there's probably A Next Level!!!

The quality of this product is one of the best of any 4k disc I own!! Also, the Dolby Atmos sound is insane!! I literally felt like I was there with the characters. Of course, it’s a great, entertaining movie, also! Keep in mind, you need an Atmos-enabled device to get the full effect of this, but even without, it’s still a great quality with amazing sound effects. I hope more movies are made this way!!

Delightful follow up to the original Jumanji adventure. The gang has all gone back into the game to the same cast of character Avatars - but this time they are in different avatars than the originally were when they first went into the game! Joining them this time we have "Grandpa played by Danny DeVito and is ex-business partner & friend played by Danny Glover. Very satisfying adventure follow up movie with a surprising end!

Yee Haw! Your one and only best friend Hop Along BIG DAWN here. Wowza what can I tell you about this movie. It sure is a knee slapper. Almost as good as the first one. I suggest you hop on the nearest stage coach and head to your local Best Buy Trading Post and barter for this thing. It's a Hoot! Good fun for all your kin.

So glad the sequel does not disappoint! Everyone is back and the action is there from beginning to end. Nice touch adding the grandparent and his friend to the story. The first movie expressed themes of friendship and loyalty and this adds the importance of family to the values it honors. Fun movie for the family to watch! And if you remember the original with Robin Williams it's great to see a continuation of the story.

The remake of Jumanji was a fun-filled laugh fest. Thought that there was no way to top it. ARE YOU KIDDING?!? The Next Level was just that. It took the movie franchise one step further. The comedy is top notch. Dwayne Johnson imitating Danny de Vito and Kevin Hart imitating Danny Glover is worth the price of admission.

As a collector of blu-rays, I absolutely love this Best Buy Only Steelbook edition of Jumanji: The Next Level. When I heard that they were doing another Jumanji I was skeptical about it so I avoided it in the theaters. But I have to say this was an amazing follow up to 'Welcome To The Jungle' Danny Devito & Danny Glover added a very funny twist to this story and made me wish there was a game version of this movie. This is a great addition to the franchise. and would be a great way to watch all three in a weekend.

I really enjoyed watching the 2nd (or 3rd if you count the original 1995 classic) film in this series! What I especially enjoyed was how the characters could switch avatars in this movie where they really couldn't in the last one. Dwayne Johnson, Jack Black, Karen Gillan, and Kevin Hart are all given a lot more to do here and it shows! If you're a fan of the 2017 reboot, you'll love this film! Two thumbs up!
