I hadn't seen any of these movies in years. The first one was a great as I remember, and it went downhill from there. I would receommend the first one, maybe the second, but definitely not the third.

The movies look better and the HD helps it a lot. Pretty good movies

Love this Trilogy on Blu-Ray. it does look sharp, clean and sounds like your in the jungle running from the Dinosaurs! (if you have the proper 7.1 Surround system) I have read that the Silver cover with Widescreen dubbed does not look good and comes out a lesser quality than the DVD movie. I have not seen it myself but this version which is full screen 1080P looks perfect on my 47" LED. now when the movie is close to a person or object and its not the main focus of the scene, it does seem blurry and grainy, however, its not the main focus of that scene. it just really depends on the Customer. but here is my review and my opinion. Love it. this version is awesome and I'm glad I purchased it.

Jurassic Park is a great film series. If you're here you know that already. My only gripe with this set is, that even though it has special disc that contain featurettes, the actual movie disc don't contain directors commentary or actors. I know a lot of people don't listen to those, but I love them. I love the insight they give to scenes, and hearing whats going through the directors mind as he films a scene. This is a growing problem in the industry though, a way for them to milk more money out of the consumer. As many people might already own a DVD release, that contains commentary and other special features, but when a set like this is released, it boast a far more extensive set of features. In the end it doesn't contain the basics of the initial release. All in all this is a good set if you don't already own the movies and you love behind the scenes extras.

The movies are great! My grandson and I watch them together. What's not great is the service I have received at best buy. I decided to use the rewards coupons and one was expired and they would not take it. The manager said he could not override. I had to call customer service and spend an hour on the phone to get a new coupon issued, that meant going back to the store again, which by-the-way is 10 miles away from my house. Therefore, since I wanted the movie and had $30 worth of coupons, I decided to try the "store pickup". Ordering online is easy. Got to the store AGAIN, waited in line ten minutes. Finally, my turn, they had misplaced the movie. It took them ten minutes to locate it. Geez, I could have picked it up off the shelf, checked out and been half way home. After all that the case was broken.
