I’m a big fan of the resource management / city building games. I was not sire what to expect here but let me say I love the game. There are two. Erosions, I got the basic, not delux, becasie I wasn’t sure what to expect. The delux has some extra dinosaurs and I think that’s about it. Also, be advised there already has been some free DLC (dinosaurs) and I’m told there will be more content coming. As for the game, it took me a little while to get a hold of all the nuances of the game. Let me say, pay attention to the management view, it is extremely useful

FULL REVIEW: https://wp.me/p4T35p-gdR I do not know anyone that does not like dinosaurs, but that does not immediately make Jurassic World Evolution for everyone. RTS was the correct choice for this game, but many gamers may lose patience with the title. One thing that continues to bug me as I play is the lack of a pause option like The Sims has. Yes, you can pause the game, but I mean stopping time in the park so you can survey, assess and plan things. It would be great were that to be added. I also think that PC players will get the overall best experience as this game begs to be played with a mouse.

One of my all-time favorite games is the old Jurassic Park: Operation Genesis, which I still replay up to this day. Jurassic World Evolution is the "sequel" to that awesome game, with the new Jurassic World in play. It looks great, plays great, and is still lots of fun! You start off with one island, and you have to proceed enough in the game to unlock the other 5 islands and more dinosaurs to dig for and breed. And one of the islands is the original island from Jurassic Park (which is open and with no budget! A big thanks to Jurassic Park movie fans, I would say). THIS IS NOT AN ACTION GAME... it's a sim game, so know this and research the gameplay BEFORE you buy it, so you know what you're getting. I love this game and am glad I got it, despite initial apprehension (I didn't think it would be as good as the original).

As someone who played a lot of roller coaster tycoon and zoo tycoon back in the late 90s-early 00s, I was thoroughly pleased by this game. I was worried about how it might control on console but I was surprised at the ease of use. I loved being to send out expeditions to research new dinosaurs and enhancing them with genetic traits, and overall building the parks is quite fun. It doesn't get repetitive either, since progress is carried over from one island to another, and multiple island parks are needed to unlock some objectives. I just wish they had gotten a better voice actor to fill in for Chris Pratt, but having Jeff Goldblum present more than makes up for it.

Full disclosure - my experience with this game is mainly from watching my kid play it and helping troubleshoot. That being said she really enjoys being able to create and take care of dinosaurs. Making buildings and running a business (dinosaur park) not so much. It's a well thought out game and the visuals are nice - just a little bit of a grind/learning curve to get things going at the beginning.

Love this game. So fun and addictive. Also allows you to do manual save points so that you can try releasing dinosaurs together that will cause havoc and not worry about messing up the park you've spent time building. Gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because of the lack of any water based or flying dinos. Game incorporates pieces from all the Jurassic Park movies which adds to the fun of a true Jurassic park fan.

This game is incredible! You can get the full Jurassic World experience thanks the the dynamics & controls. If you played Jurassic Park: Operation Genesis on PC like I did, this game’s mechanics follow the same outline but with so much better detail & planning. There’s also about 5-7 DLCs you can download that give you more content & dinosaurs. A truly awesome game! Highly recommend it!

This game is really cool and addictive.... You basically take control of an island and try to build dinosaurs and manage their well-being along with the park and the pricing of all your buildings you have to be smart about how to make money and unlock Islands. If you get this game make sure you have an Expedition Center and a fossil Center to find and sell the fossils that is a quick way to get your part up and running.

Got this because we were trying to find some games for my kids... this is way too hard for him (as he is only 4) but he loves grabbing the (uncharged) 2nd controller and telling us what he wants to do. Hes having fun seeing the dinosaurs (however he was mad when his mean dinosaur ate one of the others lol) and we still get to play the console.

As a Jurassic Park fan I really enjoyed this game. The game is fun but also sort of challenging because of weather, park issues and dinosaurs not being happy and escaping. If you like sim city type games and looking for something different I recommend.

This game is great, it is building an amusement park and it incorporates some real-world situations via Ratings that are given by your guests. You achieve your 5 stars by meeting the guests expectations. Also added is things from the movies such as the sabotage and reputations that you build with your departments. It is a good game.
