My biggest complaint is that I wish there were more songs in the kids section. There are a ton of songs in the normal section but the younger kids struggle to follow along so would have been nice to have more options in the kid section. Also it is a bit hard to tell who you are playing as or what it means to score points as the accuracy isn't great.
