The length is also a plus.

Also, the braided cable appears to be much more robust than cable provided with the mobile phone. Support between plug and cable at both ends look to be more substantial. In my experience. this is the weak point of charging cables. Only planned obsolescence can account for this level of poor engineering on standard cables. This cable should last the life of the phone. But then again, all cables should be, assuming fair wear and tear.

The cables are great but the costs are a bit high in my opinion. They do what they are supposed to do though. Hats off to Best Buy for having a selection of lengths to select from, I got a 6-foot cable and a 10-foot cable. Other than price they are great.
