    This charger has a heavy duty cord that will not disintegrate with use. Only aftermarket cord that works on my iPad mini.

    I thought the rope wiring would last me a lot longer but to no avail alas it is COOKED. It started shorting about 2 weeks ago and now it is no longer. Life time warranty requires me to send back the broken Product such a hassle. But charges very fast prior to the shorts

    This is a solid charger, but for some reason my iPhone must be a bit finicky and would not charge with this set up. I think the problem lies more in the cord that the wall plug. I liked the long cord, but had to return it for the Apple 3' cord which is not as convenient when I travel. For completion sake, the Apple cord worked just fine.
