    I bought this charger because I was taking a long road trip, would be using my phone gps and didn't want to drain my battery. It worked perfectly. Can plug in via the battery outlet or usb if available. Very happy with this product.

    I needed a new device for charging my phone in the car. Tired of the plug-in with the stretch cord -- they keep going bad. Got this USB with dual ports -- 1 slot for iPad and 1 for iPhone (different charge speeds supposedly).

    I bought this to take the place of my phone's original car charger, which had stopped working when the prongs on the charger got bent inside. So far, this charger works great. It also frees up another USB port for additional charging of other devices, which is nice. The price was better than buying another one from the cell phone company.
