Good introduction to Aquaman and an increase presence for Cyborg as well. I wish they would have gone deeper into the relationship between Aquaman's mother and the previous king. Make sure to check out the special features. There's some good content in there.

Marvel may own the big screen, but DC kills it on the small screen and the animated movies. This is no exception, almost every one of these I've bought has been hit out of the ball park and this is no exception, if you like the others you'll enjoy this!

Very great storyline same as the graphic novel. Lots of action

Aquaman gets his due in this film. The orange shirt wearing king of the seven seas is no longer a shirtless sap as he discovers his new heritage and bails the Justice League out of many butt whoopins. Although its called Justice League, the central focus is on Aquaman.

This cartoon is awesome movie for any Fan of Aquaman. Must see

The newest Justice League movie continues the trend of adapting recent comic book story lines. I suppose this is to relate to the newer comic readers, but with such a rich history DC and Warner Bros. are letting a lot of classic stories sit on the shelf. Just look to the Batman:Brave and Bold series to see what I mean. That said, "Throne of Atlantis" is a solid action-packed adventure that explores the current origins of Aquaman. The animation is a little wooden but adequate. While the writers speed things along a little to fast, most of the heroes get their time to shine. Aquaman's transition from confused small town guy to the regal king of Atlantis is a little too quick and a little more depth would have been better. But don't hesitate to dive right in, even though this isn't DC's best attempt. Thanks for reading--no extra chaqrge for the puns!
