Timothy Olyphant as Raylan Givens is masterful to watch. He immerses you in the character and the writing is 2nd to none. The rest of the cast is equally adept at bringing their characters and the writing to life; and the filming locations and background emulate a modern-day western or oil painting. Definitely a must-have for my collection as I make my way to collect all seasons in the series.

What got me interested in this series is the few quick-draw shoot-outs. But then they quit having them. Still the series is great and exciting to watch. I have the Blu-rays because they were on sale. The SD editions are just as great quality wise; maybe because I have a 58" plasma. With Blu-rays I can get 6 inches from the screen and count the pores on face close-ups. Can't wait for season 4

The first season of what remains to be the best show on tv is also the best season, in my opinion. This is back when Raylan was the ultimate gunslinger. As we near the series' end, he is still a complete bada**, and the fastest gun in Kentucky will hopefully return before it's all over. Anyway, great show, great season, and at 10 dollars, it's a gift that keeps on giving.

We got a great price on this DVD set from Best Buy ... 'Justified' is an incredible TV series ... the writing, the characters, the situations they encounter ... each episode is well written and satisfyingly entertaining. Tim Olyphant is terrific as Rayland, and Walton Goggins is astonishing as Boyd ... a Grade A cast. Every episode you watch is truly an hour well spent!

Justified is the one source for the late, great Elmore Leonard, and this series is true to his spirit. He authored all sorts of tight, gritty tales that translate well to the screen, from "Hombre" and "Valdez is Coming" to "52 Pick-Up" and "Get Shorty". And the amazingly low Best Buy sale price makes it perfect.

justified is a great show on FX. the show starts out with a bang with raylan killing a drug dealer within the first 5 minutes because the drug dealer didn't leave town. I knew right away the show was going to be good. boyd (shane from the shield) is a great bad guy. glad he didn't die at the end of the pilot.

Season 1 of Justified is a must see for fans of the show. It shows why Raylan Givens acts the way he does. And it shows why he serves his justice to the bad guys in such justifiable, if not nefarious means. Timothy Olyphant shows why the Western genre will never die.

I bought this a's a gift for a family member. I have watched the entire series and consider it one of the great series made in the last 10 years. The setting in Kentucky shows a sideman America seldom seen and Raylen Givens is tougher than John wayne.

The purchase price got me and I loved the first season of "Justified" I subsequently watched it on FX. the series is no longer being shot but Raylen Givens is my man crush Timothy Olyphant is so hot. The cast of characters was a great mix.

We missed the 1st few seasons of Justified. Our Bad. This is a good way to catchup. Good story, good characters and interactions between the actors. DVDs are nice to have, so you can watch whenever. We ended up doing a marathon (raining that day).

Revisit the start of this wonderful series with these 3 Blu-ray discs, including the 13 episodes and 7 extras. It's a fascinating look at a different world and way of life in our own backyard.

If you like westerns or cop shows you will love this series. I've seen them all and bought this for my dad for a gift. He loved it too. Not for watching when kids around but incredible characters and always intrigue and action.

Justified is the type of show that you need to watch a season at a time not an episode at a time. Best Buy had an amazing deal on this great show and I would highly recommend anyone to take a weekend and devote to Justified.

Justified is set in rural Kentucky in modern times. Once you watch Season One, you'll want all the remaining seasons. Clever dialogue, action packed law enforcement drama and excellent acting by all cast members.

Timothy Olyphant plays a U.S. Marshall that's reinsigned to the town he growd up in, because of shooting incident. All his old friends and family seem to be in trouble all the time. This town puts the "Eck" in red neck.

Began watching Justified in about the 3rd season. Love, love,love it. Was a bit confused about some of characters backgrounds, etc. Owning DVD assisted me in answering plot questions, character issues, etc. Great purchase!

I was not sure at first if I liked this series and only bought it because of the star in the series. But I am now hooked and have purchased all of the seasons of this series.

Justified has consistently been my favorite show on Television for a while. Full of compelling characters, fun action scenes, drama, and an imperfect "hero," Justified is one of the most solid dramas on TV.

Started watching this show at the in-laws & quickly became addicted. Found the first 3 seasons at a great price & snatched them up. Now to get caught up! Great story & Timothy Olyphant is great in the lead role.

I wish this were still on the air. Great acting, great scripting and great scenery and back ground music. This series has been awesome and a must have for any one!
