So far works as expected. Easier to work than the one it replaced and has great features.

The display on the double DIN receiver is both bright and large. The features are easily accessed, although the volume control lacks a knob. I control the volume through steering wheel controls which work fine. I use the mirroring feature with my iphone for GPS-based mapping, and the voice giving directions is louder than I would like. Although that feature should be controllable, neither the steering wheel or the receiver volume controls seem to affect the loudness. The sound is not objectionable, merely louder than I would like. All in all, I recommend the receiver and would buy it again.

Great product that certainly upgraded my cars technology. The fit into the dash was perfect and it was easy to use right out of the gate. The only drawback is the time it takes to connect to apple play after you plug your phone in. Once it’s connected though it’s a very nice system.

This JVC product was exactly what I was looking for. The display was an optimal size for my vehicle and very easy to navigate and use the various functions. And it had a cd player for my old school ways

For the price it's pretty good. Works great, but the screen is pretty dim.

Bought this and had it installed in my Miata (which has BOSE speaker system). Sound quality of CDs and radio is good, but as soon as you connect your phone, the call volume is barely above a whisper. I can't hear it with the roof up, so there is no way to hear a call if you are cruising with the top down. I've tried turning the volume all the way up on the phone and the radio and isolated the BT sound. Nothing works.

Other than doing what a typical stereo does. Im just going to mention a few things to look out for when buying. The control. Even though the description says it comes with a control, it doesnt. You have to buy it separately. The time. You can set it a thousand times only to show a way different time when you turn the car back on. The controls. Theyre clunky and you have to get used to them by learning the pictures. The controls are very difficult when playing a movie. Youre going to need the control for this. Lastly, it does not read mp3 discs. Only cd and dvd, thats it. You also need to buy a separate adapter for apple mirroring.

The unit has good sound and is easy to use. The Best Buy installer did a fantastic job, working quickly and making it look just like a factory install.

It was one of the few receiver heads for my car, so I was limited. Plus - I didn't lose any functionality in my car's original features (though that is likely due to the maestro box that I had installed rather than the head). Cons - no volume knob and the screen is small.

The JVC stereo radio picks up the stations beautifully and the sound is fantastic. The backup camera display is wonderful. I can see really well when I back up in the phone works great too.

Very nice radio/cd player. Haven’t tried the dvd yet. Connects quickly and easily to Bluetooth items. It could have with a volume knob.

This head unit is better than the Kenwood ones I tried. The interface is easy to navigate. Android Auto works well. The only thing that is a bit mediocre is the microphone as it is not the clearest.

Fiancee wanted a android auto in her car so I bought this. Installation is easy if you are handy. Fit perfectly and she loves that Google Maps in now on her screen rather than having to put her phone on a mount.

Very pleased with this radio, has features that newer radios don’t have.

Nice look. Solid install. Graphics are ok. Excellent sound and upgrade from my factory. You get great sound and equalizer manipulation ability for a reasonable price. The huge problem for me is this. the day after the install and throughout the following weeks it doesn’t hold the time or the presets I spend time setting up, including the equalizer settings. This is quite frustrating. I might set it up in the morning and it works fine for a day or so. Then it’s gone. Occasionally on the same day I’ll have to reset it. I’ve read it from others having the same problem but didn’t listen. This happened right out of the box.
