Overall the unit has been amazing. I replaced the OEM radio & cassette player from my '03MiataSE and wired this one up easily, the cables are all labeled and colored on the harness making for a quick and easy wiring. The only draw back is my Miata has a power antenna that raises out from the back so it needs a dedicated wire so it knows to go up and down, typically this is included on the harness for most head units, this one even has a slot and diagram for it however the cable wasn't included meaning that while I can still listen to the radio and use the unit as normal I cannot have my antenna raise up and down when I switch over to radio. This heavily impacts the range of the radio only allowing me to listen to a few stations with distant white noise, to be clear most car's antennas don't raise and don't require this cable meaning it should work flawlessly within most vehicles. Overall however I love the unit and would recommend to almost anyone looking for a low profile OEM+ esc vibe. 9.5/10

Overall I think that it is very good especially to modernize an older car. I got it for a 94 f150 and it sounds really good. It has a decent choice of tune ability. It does feel a little cheap but thats to be expected with the low price. Only thing to point out would be that it doesn’t play music through usb port for example if you connect your iphone it wont be compatible to charge and play music just charge.

My old Sony gave up. I found this nice JVC for 70 dollars. Its going in an 03 Hyundai, so i wasnt going to drop a lot of money on something. This unit is amazing! Very customizable, insanely customizable actually. The one and only con about it is, the angle of display makes it hard to see in daylight, at least in my car it does. Id recommend this for anyone who wants a real nice sounding deck on a tight budget. Installed it myself and im no mechanic or audio intaller. Of course the Huyndai is pretty easy to work on. Bottom line, this a terrific batgain!

Plenty of power and simple to operate m which is what I was looking for. Toggle between Bluetooth and FM stations easily. Attractive unit and at a more than reasonable price point.

The sound and features are fine, but I'm disappointed in the display. The way it mounts in my car, it's simply impossible to read the display during the day, as any exterior light washes it out. (It's fine at night, but...) I actually chose this model as it sports adjustable brightness... but the brightest isn't anywhere close to bright enough. I suppose this might not be an issue in cars where the front of the unit is shaded, like an old Honda I had once. But not ion my 2004 Matrix. Also, the unit I got turned out to be defective, resetting itself often when the car restarts, wiping out all settings. It took me awhile to figure out it's not the car wiring or ignition switch, but the unit. Given that JVC has been a reliable brand, I'm assuming this is not a common issue, generic in the design, so I'm not rating down for it. But it seems I should mention it.

I bought this to replace the stereo in my daughter's 2005 Toyota Highlander and give her Bluetooth capability. Installation was not difficult, and she is very happy with the operation. The unit has plenty of power for the stock speakers and sounds good.

The price is low and the product sounds great with factory speakers, the hands free phone via Bluetooth is good enough, wish I could adjust the sound quality of the caller but that could be there phone. I just had installed yesterday.

Exactly what I was looking for in a radio. Just the simple Bluetooth/ aux option and a regular radio. Love the red glow at night and produces a nice sound for the speakers.
