Nice price. Sound fine. Not overdone on bass. Pinch your head if you leave them on for a while. Do become flat for storage. Glossy exterior shows dust but looks nice. (Ignore white tap in photos, that was added later to quickly know right/left for stereo placement.)

Over experience is quite pleasant, the price, the red color and the ability to flip the cups makes me want to buy the whole family. Reason why I bought it was because I needed a wired headphone that dosnt need to charge on those long days where I just want to fall asleep listening to music.

These flats headphones gave excellent quality and the flat storage feature makes them easy to store and carry with my tablet in my small notebook carry case.

I needed headphones for online interviews that do not make me look like I'm from another planet, that fit my head and that are not heavy, all while making sure I can hear. This item fits the bill.

I'm really impressed with these headphones. It's very comfortable to wear. The sound quality is great too. It has a nice clear, crisp sound and a surprisingly rich bass. The only issue I've had with these headphones is the headband and slider. It's super thin and flimsy so it can easily break apart. Also, it's not very stylish or cool looking like the more expensive headphones out there. But if you don't care about aesthetics and just need a good headphone that won't hurt your wallet, I'd definitely recommend these.

I am a big fan of the JVC FLATS. In fact, I just bought a second set to use on other devices. They are lightweight and comfortable, and I like the sleek on-ear design. Most importantly, they sound surprisingly good-- especially after a couple months of use. I would classify the sound signature as mostly flat or neutral (no excess bass or treble), and this is what I generally prefer. I listen to a variety of music and these handle each pretty well. However, if you are a bass freak these probably won't satisfy you (in which case I would recommend Koss PortaPros). Obviously, the low price figures into my rating. If these cost $100, I would be more critical. But for less than $20 it would be hard to beat the JVC FLATS.

My wife and I bought these for her to use with her laptop. For that purpose, they are wonderful. If you have ever shopped for headphones you know that they are in several sections of Best Buy. That is understandable due to the wide spread use of items such as headphones. Well, we looked at all of what they had. We bought these due to company reputation, light weight, size overall, they fold flat and price was GREAT! My wife says that she would buy these again and every time that I have borrowed them makes me want to buy a RED set next time we are at Best Buy. Would I recommend these for computer use - YES. Would I recommend these for all-day music listening - NO.

Ok, I love music, and I listen to music on my ipod everyday if not almost every day, I've also had quite a few headphones, from Bose earbuds, to some average priced Sennheisers, so when it comes to how my headphones sound I tend to get VERY picky, so I'm going to be a little more hardcore about my review than the average Joe. First off, My pair of earbuds just broke today so in desperation I went online looking for the best headphones for the price range and I was lead to the JVC's because of all of the good comments. I must say for the $20 price I was by far the most impressed I have ever been with a cheap pair of headphones, the clarity and bass is very vivid and clear for the price. On the other hand I do have some issues, Although the sound is great, I do hear some crackling and clicking when when I listen to heavier music, and when it's cranked wayyy up (which they do get very loud, forgot to mention, my bad) the sounds tends to get a little distorted. The other sort of minor thing is that since they are ON-EAR and not OVER, they tend to be loud for others around you, and people could pretty much listen to you listening to your headphones instead of a radio, other than that I'm very happy with what I got, although I'm pretty much just using these as a transition pair until I can buy a much nicer pair in the future.

The headphones are not too small or too big. Very comfortable. Block outside noise. They look good, and the audio quality is really good as well. I would have given it 5 stars if it came with a volume control, and if the cord length was a little longer. Overall, great product, and I got it on sale. Definitely, a great buy.

These headphones have good sound quality for the price, on par with the more expensive ones. Moreover, they are light and comfortable, and they pack easily. I would buy them again.

I love these headphones! I was looking for something to listen to audio books with on my iPhone. Don't like earbuds for long periods of time (like listening to a book) so I thought I'd go 'old school' with these. The sound quality is amazingly good for such cheap headphones--and they fold flat so it makes them easy to store in a drawer. Very comfortable too! (There's a little Left and Right on each side to indicate which way to put them on.)

Bought these headphones for airline travel. I needed headphones that folded flat to save space. They actually fit perfectly into a quart size ziploc bag, for protection while traveling. Nice sound quality. Use them mostly for audiobooks. They rest comfortably on the ears, but are not meant to cover the ears, or to be noise canceling. You can still hear when announcements are being made on the plane, so you can remove them to pay attention to this or people trying to converse with you. I can't wear ear buds without a lot of discomfort, due to small ear canals. Love the purple ear pieces!

Excellent sound quality at inexpensive price. Looks are attractive and comfortable to wear. Only thing is the cord (cable) is too short for easy use with the docking station I use; but manageable.

Bought these for my 13 year old son. He does not like earbuds as they do not fit in his ears well and over time can get gummed up with wax. These were light weight and fold up flat for easy storage. The sound is good for a good price. My son is pretty rough on headphones and uses them a lot everyday. As with most headphones the weak point is where the wire goes into the stereo plug at the end of the cable. But these hold up surprisingly well!

I bought this for my mother, very affordable price, they are light weight, the sound is very good and they are so comfortable.... They come in different colors, I went back to buy another pair for myself.

These headphones look cool and the sound quality is excellent. They are very comfortable on my ears without being overly large. They are very lightweight and are easy to pack or travel with.

I bought these after reading the cnet review and recommendation and couldn't be more pleased. I've been around pro audio a lot and am pretty picky about accuracy. The eq isn't flat but good for casual listening, the low end is really good when pushed for their size. They have a warm analog character. Noise isolation is also pretty good. They're comfortable and stay on well even on my 2xl head. I've bought at least 5 or 6 of these for different uses and as gifts and only two have had minor durability issues. You can't beat them for the money, just buy 'em.

Lightweight, sturdy and easily adjusted. Very comfortable, and impressive sound for the price. Can be worn for many hours without issues. I count on JVC for quality, and I wasn’t disappointed wit( these headphones.
