Customers are saying

Customers express satisfaction with the sound quality, comfort, and fit of the Gumy Plus Earbud Headphones. Many also appreciate the price point. A shorter cord length and the lack of volume control were cited as areas for potential improvement. The positive feedback on sound and comfort outweighs the relatively minor concerns about the cord and volume control.

The microphone does not work very well as people have trouble hearing or understanding me while I am on a phone call. The on/off button stopped working shortly after initial purchase. For its inexpensive price though, I guess its okay. I was not a fan of in-ear buds, but I got used to them fairly quickly and find them quite comfortable now. Sound quality is fair as well.

They feel more like ear plugs, than headphones.

These earbuds fit snuggly in the ear, but the feel more like earplugs. The sound is ok at best. I threw them out and ordered the Apple version of the 35mm plug earbuds.

I have purchased JVC headphones before and enjoyed the quality of sound and quality of build. This was the first time I was trying this model with a microphone attached. It stopped working correctly within a week of purchase. I will not be buying another - you get what you pay for....

2nd pair of these. also have the $5 cheaper JVC Gumy. Sound is great for price. Fails with the remote. Both Gumy Plus headphones have failed remotes almost first time using them. Cheaper Gumy is almost year older and has been wash and still works. If JVC can do something about their connector/solder around connector they would have a winner. As it is save yourself the $5 and get the cheaper Gumy. no remote but then again the Gumy Plus wont have the remote either.

Product is less expensive than most, therefore you get what you pay for, rubber earpiece falls apart constantly which is annoying. However, sound quality is fine, no issues there.

Sound quality is good - but can't get ear buds to fit comfortably. They fall out continuously or just don't feel right.

The sound and mic are good but they tend to slip out when I am walking at a fast pace.

I purchased the JVC earphones based on a sale price. I guess you get what you pay for. They serve their purpose of using them at the gym where I listen to TV while on the treadmill or songs on low volume while working out. The earphones are okay but the sound is very tiny and not robust. The earphones are definitely missing middle and low end sound (bass). Buyer beware!

I needed an extra set of ear buds for the gym. I bought 15.00 earbuds thinking they would be a good purchase. Using them the first time they did not fit properly in to the treadmill hook up. I need to insert them at an angle to get them to work properly. If I move they lose the channel. I would not buy these again.

They are ok - sound is good but the wires are very thin. They kink up and the wires must break inside because they stop working- one side and then the next.

I've had tons of earphones. Klipsch S4, Denon, Logitech UE, Sony, Mee Audio, JVC, etc. These are not up to par in terms of fit or sound. Save yourself the money on these and buy the Sony MDRXB50 for $30 on sale. Far superior.

Bought this for my wife to use with her iPhone. I knew the quality was not as good as the ones that came with her iPhone, but I did not think she would notice. Unfortunately, the quality was so bad that even she complained.
