Ok, let’s just get to it. The name is as simple as they come. It seems as if JVC wanted to say “ Hey everyone, we’re trying something new and this is only our 1st shot at this. It should get better after this point, so we’re not going spend much time on a cool name until we get it right.”
Yeah. I read into that one a little deeply. What? You mean to tell me you didn’t get that impression also?
Aside from the obviously simple naming, we also notice that they are called headphones and not earbuds. Simply put, these kids are BIG. Not to say that they are uncomfortable for their size. It’s just that they are noticeable from a distance. A lot of true wireless bluetooth I have looked at are less bulky and tend to compliment the shape of the ear canal. Again, not all true wireless bluetooth do this, but the ones I’ve tried are and like to be known as earbuds. Okay, I’ve spent way too much time on that explanation. Bottom line, JVC has made completely wireless HEADPHONES.
What’s in the Box
In the box, you are greeted with the usual. The headphones, of course. A small charging cord (no brick). A bunch of ear gummy options, for that optimal ear comfort. Charging pill case. A cute carrying pouch, for storage of your case. And finally you get your books of guides and warranty information. This has to change at some point, right?
There’s also an app dedicated to the headphones, designed to help give you the listening experience that JVC is known for….meh*
What you get
Once you’ve got these big guys out of the box and into wild, you will be pleased to know that they are pretty comfortable to wear for an hour or two, easily. That being said, you’ll only get around 3 hours of use between charges. The pill case will give you an extra 2 charges, giving you 9 hours of listening pleasure. This really seems like a small amount of listening time, but if you look at it, once you finish your calls, you are more than likely going to put them back in the case for storage. That’s going to re-up that charge. If you use a pair of headphones for more than 9 hours a day, you really should consider wired headphones. The Completely Wireless are ipx5 rated for moisture resistance, so my workouts worry free. And the pivot motion fit really keeps them in place while using them. After using them you’ll have to snugly place them in the case.( I mean it when I say snug. It’s a tight fit in that case.) Each earphone has a button that basically does the same thing. Both sides can play or pause your music, but one side gives you higher volume while the other...yea. You get it. The charging case will fully charge in around 3 hours. On the go, the case charges your earphones in around 2 hours for total drain. From my experience, the left ear is the primary phone call vessel. So that’s something to get used to. The music experience isn’t JVC quality, but passable for earbuds.( Passable for EARBUDS. These are classified as headphones. No Excuses JVC….ok, one….NOOB) These should get better in the future. The app ( JVC Headphones Manager) allows you to check the battery level, change the sound mode and find your missing headphones, if misplaced. Side note, that is a very important feature to have in an app. You will lose these little rascals. I just want to take a second to bring up the little carrying pouch. It looks like a infant cell phone carrying pouch. I can’t see myself placing this on my belt loop (b’bye $150.) , but I do see the relevance in it. I use it to keep for scratching up the case or anything it may rub up against in my bag while transporting it.
These are really good 1st outing for a company that’s new to truly wireless earphone game, but this is JVC. And I think they could’ve come a little harder. The brand alone is reason enough to assume that these are worth my $150 plus tax. I think that if they come with a firmware update to fix the sound quality and call features in the future, I would completely forgive this start. Again, they are very comfortable while working and working out, so totally recommend giving these a try. They are not perfect, by any means. That battery could be a bit longer, compared to the fierce competition out there. But it seems that $150 is the standard middle ground for true wireless, so if you’re looking to go truly wireless, you’ve probably expected that price point. So go ahead. Give them a try. Just be sure to give JVC your feedback. I’m sure they will listen.

The JVC ET90s sound great but more importantly, they are genuinely sports earphones. The little wings can be rotated to make a secure snug fit. Sounds is great with no dropouts, disconnects, etc. and voice calls are good (no complaints from people I called). There are two small buttons (rubber covered) on each earphone that let you do various tasks like answering calls, invoking Siri, skipping tracks, etc.
Reasons to buy the JVC ET90s is that they're IPX5 rated. So they're safe for running in the rain or sweat. The case also locks tight with a little clasp and has a battery indicator. So no need to wonder if you have enough juice before you head out.
The photos on the website and on JVCs own website are misleading. The earphones are not as big as they seem (see the picture, ignore the blue piece of material I used to hold the headphones up). The green is subtle and makes them look like proper sports earphones.
If you're on iOS there is JVC headphone manager software
https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/jvc-headphones-manager/id1333947193?l=ja&ls=1&mt=8
It's not required but does give you access to some equalizer presets. There is also a find my headphone feature.

I liked these JVC headphones they way is designed, made and being confortable in ears. You got great sound and secure fir in ears and charging case with carrying pouch, but one thing that made me review it only 4 stars is the lack of noise-cancelling as I tested it with a couple of friends and all of then said your vpice it not clear and its too noisy when talking outdoor using it, on the contrary when I used it indoor I can make phone call and listen and speak clearly. Other than that its outstanding headset.

They Work, But Sound Could Be Better

So, these headphones are a bit of a mixed bag....
I really like the case. The case charges the headphones and takes up very little space. Headphones snap in and out of the case and everything looks cool. The headphones feel secure in my ears. Once in, the hook keeps them in place well and the extra adapters for the ears ensure you have a good fit. The headphones are suitably small and I barely notice them in my ears.
Cons:
The sound just isn't that good. A lot of the detail is lost in these headphones. My stock iPhone headphones sound infinitely better than these. Details just seem to dissolve into static. There is an app which provides three different sound settings, but in my experience, it didn't change much.
The documentation claims these will get 6 hours of battery life, but I tapped out after two and a half hours.
Controls on the headphones seemed clunky. I could pause and play my music, but that is about it. Conversations on the phone sounded rough to both me and the person I was calling.
They're not awful headphones, but they just aren't that good. There are too many other options in the price range that sound better.

All in all these headphones are very easy to operate, pair and function. The quality of these heaphones boils down to two area in my opinion. Design and sound.
The design is flawless, easy to pair and very comfortable in the ears. The storage/charging container is very easy to use and travel with too. Very compact and visable easy to tell if your headphones are fully charged.
Sound on the otherhand is decent, ive never heard true wireless headphones that could produce a good amount of base to my likings. However, these come close. Decent base, and very crisp trebbel, the highs and low are sound. If there was a way to get more base in wireless headphones id be the first customer.
Overall, great design and modest sound. Worth the buy.

Good... could be better

I've been using these earbuds/headphones for about 3 weeks and although they're good, there are several things that could be better.
Right out of the box, the headphones look and feel well built, although they are a bit larger than I thought they would be. The storage/charging box is relatively small, sleek, and holds the headphones firmly in place.
Again, the headphones aren't as small as I thought they'd be; they're not huge, but they're far from inconspicuous. That said, they stay in my ears well, and there's no wire to snag or rub my neck. However, after a few hours, they start to get uncomfortable. I did try wearing these under a pair of over-the-ear muffs when I was mowing but their size made it too painful right off the bat, which is a huge disappointment since I do alot of yardwork. The sound is good, but it's not great. One contributing factor to the less than expected sound quality is that the eartips don't isolate outside noise very well. I've tried all of the included eartips, and none of them really do a good job for my ears. I might buy some double eartips and see if that helps. Also, occasionally, if I'm walking around and the phone/device is stationary, the sound will cut out in one of the headphones for a split second. I'm not sure what causes this, but if you and your device are stationary or moving together, it probably won't be a problem. One final issue with the sound is that when you take a call, sound only comes through the left headphone, which takes a bit of getting used to.
Overall, these headphones provide a good total wireless experience, but with some small improvements they could be much better. Since I can't give these 3.5 stars, I'm going to give them 4 because they're definitely not a 3.

Does not fit my ear

Does not fit my ear, as a result, no bass at all. I had to press the ear phone in to my ear really hard to get good sound but after a while, no tight seal equal no bass. I tried all different sizes of ear bud replacement
included with the product to no avail. It is a shame because the build quality is very good and not too big and the sound is pretty good when you have a tight seal.

Finally a true wireless headphone, no wire plugged into the phone and no cord connecting my 2 earbuds. Included in the box: 2 earbuds, various size tips, USB cable and a charging case. This charging case stores your earbuds and can charge them. These earphones are very easy to setup, just like any other bluetooth device, you simply pair it to your phone. Downloading the JVC App will allow you to customize the sound with EQ settings, battery life indicator and has a built in location finder that allows you to locate your earbuds if you misplace them. Each earbud comes with 3 sound isolating tips and 3 open ear tips. Playtime: according to manufacturers specs, fully charged can last 3 hours. Then when you place them in the case, you can get 3 additional charges. I like the design of these earbuds, they’re not very large and don’t stick out much when you’re using them. I used these while jogging on the treadmill and did not have any issues with them falling out. Play time of 3 hours is decent, the charging case is fairly small, about 3” and 1 1/2” in diameter. Very good sound quality, on a scale of 1-10, I would give these a 10. These are very nice headphones overall. I would recommend these to anyone that is looking for active headphones to wear at the gym, running. They are rated at IPX5 which makes them sweat proof.

These wireless earbuds have great sound, an above average fit, and I recommend the purchase of them! Along with buying this product, I also purchased a "Mighty" audio speaker, (off of Amazon), in order to boost/increase my reception range. The two compatibly work together to allow me to run/work out, and play my Spotify playlist(s), without requiring me to have to have my cell phone on me or nearby (within 30 feet). The only negative issue, be it small, that I did experience with the earbuds, took place during the original set-up. The process to connect the headphones to bluetooth, on more than one of my devices, was a bit tricky.

Best Truely Wireless Yet

I've tried a few of these now and these are the best yet.
What I love..
Fit: These just seem to fit well in my ears. They come with 3 sizes of tips. Using the right sized tip is crucial to the sound quality and sound isolation. I suggest using the largest tip that is comfortable to block out the ambient sound and increase the bass response.
Parring: super simple, no issues
Exercise: Ran on the treadmill with these with no issues. They stay in and you can rinse them off.
Sound Quality: Surprisingly good bass response and overall clarity of sound. Again, fit is key.
Overall a great purchase and I would buy again.

Saw these for what turned out to be clearance price of $49.99, normally $149.99... Easy to charge and sync with my phone...They stay in pretty well. Sound is not great, but solid. Connection is fairly good, cuts out occasionally. If you put your hand over your ear, you'll lose connection. Overall very happy with them. Would not have paid $150 but for $50 was a great deal...

I've had these for 24 hours now. All good. Nothing to complain about. They pair and just work. Sound is excellent and I am happy with comfort of the fit which I was worried about. Worked in the yard for a few hours an totally forgot I had them in. Much better than the Airpods I tried.

I've had more than my fair share of headphones for my phone like these and typically do not go with in ear due to a traumatic incident in which a piece of plastic from an ear bud lodged in my ear. But now that I'm getting back to working out I decided to go ahead and give these JVC headphones a try. The pluses include being easy to set up, they have always remained connected, work well with sweat (very important when working out of course) the sound is pretty good, they don't stick far out of your ear like the apple ones do making you look like a dork, they have a nice app and are (relatively) inexpensive compared to alternatives. The cons include the battery life is only about three hours (although the small case does give you two charges before needing to be plugged back into an electrical source), they're really kind of lacking for bass (which can be alleviated a bit by using the app to go into bass mode) and, for me anyways, I did have a little bit of a time with them moving about in my ears, but maybe it's just my weird ears lol. They never fell out though any when I was working out.
Bottom line, I'd recommend them to anyone looking for a less expensive alternative to the Apple ear buds but do be aware of the limitations. If you are looking for something with a long battery life, say for example using them while at work in a typical eight hour work day, then these buds will not be a viable solution. But if you're good with knowing that limitation then give these JVCs a try!

For the last three weeks that I’ve been using those headphones I clearly like them but I am still not in love with them. First, the connection to any equipment (initially with my phone) is very easy and since the beginning the sound quality impressed me.
It’s true that to arrive to this level of sound quality and to feel them as “in-ear” is super important to find the right plug for your ears and that took me some time (I recommend the big size to find the right balance between external sound isolation and grip and if you are like me, perhaps different sizes are adequate for each of your ear canals).
And impressive element is the size, I have few headphones for sport and over the years, I’ve saw a big evolution in the size, those are clearly a step forward in reducing it and making the in-ear models the less bulky as possible, and this is important when you use them for running like me. I need to add that I like also the size of the case to recharge them, in line with the small size of the headphones.
Also, positive the fact that they are rated as sweat and water resistant and I tested them with my corrosive sweat (believe me, some of my previous earphones from different brand didn’t pass that test) and under the rain without problems.
Very high level sound and general satisfaction answering and receiving phone calls, my interlocutors didn’t realize that I was answering with them and the sound deliver at my level was perfect.
Less impressive and probably a reason for the four starts are:
1.- Still having issues with connectivity when running and sometimes they drop the connection with the music source for few milliseconds and this is not cool.
2.- Battery. probably if you plan some jogging or short trainings, those 2-3 hours batteries are fine but in my long runs (half to full marathon) not enough.
No bad equipment at all and could do the job.

They have a better sound quality than some of the cheaper BT earbuds I've encountered. They are worth the cost.
