There is nothing fancy about the features or materials of construction. But they are comfortable on my ears, the sound quality is fine, and these are the two most important features, at least to me, of any on- or over-the-ear audio device. They are also “foldable,” which means that the ear pads can be rotated so that the phones sit flat when stored. In fact, this is the way they are packaged in the box. Out of the box, the headphone had about 60% battery life remaining, so I was able to pair them to my phone, which was very easy, and start using them immediately. Controls are simple and well-labeled, with a power switch, volume control, and call-answering, and the power switch also doubles as a bass-boost switch. These are described by JVC as “deep bass” headphones, and my experience bears this out. There is also a built-in microphone for telephone call use. Included in the box is a USB charging cable but no A/C adapter, so if you want to charge them from a wall socket (or a 12-volt source in your car), you will need to acquire the appropriate adapter. Overall, as noted above, these are an attractive, basic, low-cost, comfortable, and good-sounding pair of wireless headphones. Highly recommended.

Gave them to my son and he uses them on his IPAD. Perfect for travel. You do have to charge them so that is the only main difference. No wires which is better.
