There really isn't a whole lot that you can really say about earbuds but I'm the type of person that really hates to spend much money on earbuds because I prefer headphones in which I have a couple pairs that cost up to $500 which now that I think about it I really can't help laughing at myself because I hate to even spend $10 bucks on a pair of earbuds that i only use for mowing or working outside. So with that in mind it did pain me to buy these, lol. But as far as earbuds go these sound pretty good and definitely get loud enough so there isn't a problem with hearing your music over a mower or table saw. I still get the cables caught on things every once in a while which of course rips it out of your ear which is one of the things I hate about all earbuds and if they ever come out with wireless earbuds I would have no trouble spending some momey on them just for the convenience. So if your looking for some decent earbuds that don't cost a fortune then these will work for you.

DATA: 1. I'm using the JVC HA-FX7-B, Noise Isolation, Gummy Plus Headphones with a SanDisk 4GB Sport Clip MP3 player (the clip broke after ~ 1 year; better engineering needed). 2. Used at the gym. 3. The original pair I had were "angled." These are straight. Personal preference: either or Critique: 1. The sound is quite good for the price: $10.00 or less. 2. No noticeable distortion on music ranging from Led Zeppelin to Frank Sinatra. 3. However, the earbuds should be more durable. After washing with soap and water for a couple months, the material starts to break down and becomes "flimsy" and slips off the earbud "post." The material should be a little thicker. 4. Include a larger diameter earbud in the package. The "large" is not snug enough and tends to fall out if bumped or sweaty (used in the gym). 5. The connection 'post" to the MP3 player attaches straight in. Occasionally the chord will pull out slightly. This may be avoided by having the connection at a 90-degree angle like some I've seen.

I’ve used a lot of inexpensive headphones and these are by far my favorite. They stay in your ears and the ear bud silicone covers don’t come off repeatedly like other earbud style headphones. I keep purchasing these over and over not because they stop working, but because my dog loves them as well, and I can’t seem to put them away well enough to prevent him from finding them and chewing them up. I haven’t had one pair stop working yet. Sound quality is ok. Not for audiophiles, but decent enough for everyday use. Lots of pros, hardly any cons- especially when you consider the low price point

I'm not going to sit here and say these are the best sounding earbuds I've ever listened to. I will say that for the price point they sound great, however. I primarily listen to podcasts while working out so it treats the spoken words well. Whenever I listen to music, however, the range of sounds is full and loud. I've had cheap headphones that sound very tinny when listening to music but I do not get that from this product. Also device fits well in my ear and doesn't come loose. Only major knock I have on this product I have is the length of the cable leaves something to be desired. I can have phone in my pocket and it reaches fine but too much stretching up can cause problems,

    Budget ear phone

This ear phone costs less than $8.00. This sound is acceptable for a tablet or cellphone. It is meant for if you loose it, it is ok, as well as by accident you pull the wire off the ear piece. It happens ! So you will just buy another one. Of course, if you are looking for high end one, you can spend $100+. However, for me, I take it with an I don't care attitude, so periodically buying a new one is worth more than a $100+ spending, and not worrying about loosing it in the subway, coffee shop, or library, or tear off the wire.

The earphone set is great for sound and quality from base to highs. My phone can push them to drown out the outside traffic on my motorcycle. I don't talk or answer calls while riding, just tunes from my online station. (no commercials :-) The pieces fit well in either ear, and I don't see a clear marking for left or right. The cord is a little shorter than my skullcandy but reaches well to my belt or leg. I'll probably buy another pair for a spare. A little white ink marker for R and L and I'm good.

We got an emergency call that our son had been admitted to the ICU. We packed and left in a hurry and forgot earbuds for my iPad. Spending hours in the hospital I needed entertainment. There was a Best Buy across the street. These were reasonably priced and I figured I only needed them for a little while so if they weren’t that great no great loss. I love them. They are better than the ones I forgot.

I've bought and tested about 20 headphones over the last year. Since I workout and do a lot of running and jump rope, the biggest factors are sound quality and whether the headphones can actually stay in my ears while jumping up and down and being very active. These are amazing for the price. Very good sound quality and the bass is great also. I've never had them fall out of my ears either while working out. Overall, I'm very happy with the purchase!

I've bought many sets of headphones in my life, the most expensive ones I've bought were the mic/headphones from skullcandy for 20 dollars and I must say these headphones were complete GARBAGE. I wear the skull candies for hours the first time I bought them and I loved it, however after buying these blue headphones and trying them I had pain in my years and no matter what size I tried on them they did not fit. I must say if you have to choose between these headphones and a FAR more expensive pair go for the more expensive pair.

My husband loses his earbuds like our children lost their mittens when they were growing up!! That makes me an expert in picking out a great quality ear bud for a reasonable price. These have an excellent sound and fit. They’ve also survived numerous washing machine incidents (if he doesn’t lose them, he forgets to remove them from his workout pockets)! So I would have to give these ear buds 10!

This brand of ear headphones lasts a long time. I still have a pair I bought at least 5 years ago. I had been replacing ear headphones frequently because bending at the plug in and earphones caused the wires to break and connection lost. These ear headphones have a reinforcement at the plug in and my first pair has never lost sound connection from any wire. They also stay put in your ears and do not fall out during a typical gym workout.

this little a JVC headphones don't be fooled with the size of it this thing is a little freaking monster it has a lot of bass and you know a lot of good sound to it but the only thing that I feel is that the wire could be a little bit longer but other than that you know this is a really good comfortable headphones and I guess you can't spend $10 on a any better headphones than than this one

I wanted something for around $20 since cheaper ear buds seem to have a limited life expectancy. I also did not want the clunky control bar that I don't use since it makes it difficult to wrap. Lately I've been using an old pair of headphones instead of earbuds, so I've had limited experience with the buds. For that reason I can only give 4 out of 5 stars.

These were for my wife, who has issues with most in-ear headphones. She keeps saying that most headphones don't fit her ear canals very well, so she's gone through a lot of headphones trying to find ones that work the best for her. These are cheap and have decent sound, but are nothing special. My wife seemed to think they'd work okay in her ears, so that's a plus. I'm not sure how long they'll last, but they're cheap enough to easily replace.

Needed headphones to listen while at work. These fit the bill. As long as you don't mind something sticking in your ear, the "gummi" soft plastic comfortably fits in your ear. I have had it for multiple hours at a time. The sound quality is a little bit on the treble side with little bass. Then again, I don't use these at full blast, as all I am trying to do is to keep focused on work at the office. They do a great job for that requirement.

These are your average "disposable" ear buds. The life span of this range is about 3 months of daily use, but for the price they sound pretty good with nice bass response. Don't expect this to be the last pair of earbuds you'll buy, but if you tend to destroy them rapidly this is the way to go.

These earbuds are honestly great for people with a budget or need a pair of backup earbuds. They provide clear quality sound that is perfect for an average user. The build quality is pretty good but could potentially wear out if not taken care of properly. Overall, had these earbuds for 3+ years and they're still going strong. Thanks JVC!

Simply put, this is a $9.99 pair of headphones. I did not expect much when I purchased them and rightfully so, the earbuds fell off immediately, so I'm currently using either a size too small, or too large for my ears. I plan to stick with Gumy in the future, or simply a really nice set of wireless headphones. I still give this two stars because the provided the function of which I needed them to.

I purchased two sets of these for my grand-kids to use with their laptops and smartphones. They sound great, are a great price but not durable for kids. These would be great for an adult who is responsible. The cords are thin and tear easily or I would have given it 5 stars. I would recommend to anyone who is careful with their stuff but not for kids to someone who wants this to last.

Not much you can say. They are cheap and get the job done. You get different sizes so you can fit it to your ear just fine. They will break and the line is kinda on the small side, if you can live with that for 8~$10 its hard to beat. I get about a year or so of use out of each going to the gym with them
